This seems logical to me, because at this time the code is not "alive" and this pre-processing substitution stuff happens before actually compiling the source code. Is there another way I could have an variable be incremented on every usage of STEP macro, the easy way?

Person and Car: Person: _id firstname surname position salary Car: _id person_id reg_number brand So there is one to many relationship. One person can have many cars. I can construct map function to get every person and his/her car next to each other. In such case key is array [person.id, 0] and [car.person_id, 1]. What I can't do, is limiting this view to owners of specific brand only, e.g. if I need salaries of owners of Ferrari.

This maps perfectly on array of controller method parameters as described in Model Binding To A List article. I want to add label for checkboxes to title them, but I have to guess their ids in hmtl layout. Options[" + i + "].Selected turns into Options_0__Selected How can I avoid hardcoding Id generation in-built asp.net mvc rules? Thank you advance.

  • Embedded C++, any tips to avoid a local thats only used to return a value on the stack?

    I have a local that's only used for the purposes of checking the result from another function and passing it on if it meets certain criteria. Most of the time, that criteria will never be met. Is there any way I can avoid this "extra" local? I only have about 1MB of storage for my binary, and I have several thousand function calls that follow this pattern. I know it's a minor thing, but if there's a better pattern I'd love to know!   • I can't change a value, for a web service using an axiom client!

    Hi.I just started learning about web serices. I succesfuly installed Tomcat, and deployed axis2 on it. I followed the tutorial from here http://ws.apache.org/axis2/1_1_1/quickstartguide.html . I made the StockQuoteService web service, moved the .aar file in the WEB-INF/services folder and tested it - it worked all fine. Then I made a client for the servce. I took the source code of the file AXIOMClient.java from the dir described here http://ws.apache.org/axis2/1_1_1/quickstartguide.html#clientaxiom , imported the classes in Eclipse Java IDE and runned it. I tested and the update method works from the browser when calling http://localhost:8080/axis2/services/StockQuoteService/update?symbol=WSO&price=144 But from my java client update method is not working at all, when calling getPrice I always receive 42.00. What am I doing wrong? or, how can I trace what is happening?

    Hello fellow SO members, I want to prevent the user from copy-pasting values in my TextBox IF AND ONLY IF the values do not respect a certain condition. For instance, I created a DigitsOnlyTextBox which will be used for phone numbers. I already made it so only Character.isDigit characters can be typed into the box, and the user cannot copy-paste values into it, using : this.sinkEvents(Event.ONPASTE); and public void onBrowserEvent(Event event) { super.onBrowserEvent(event); // Permet d'empêcher le copier-coller, donc d'entrer des caractères non-numériques if (event.getTypeInt() == Event.ONPASTE) { event.stopPropagation(); event.preventDefault(); } } But I'd like to verify if the copy-pasted String is "digits only" and if so, let the event happen (therefore the text added). tl;dr : see title Thank you for your time.   • Why does concatenating a boolean value return an integer?

    In python, you can concatenate boolean values, and it would return an integer. Example: >>> True True >>> True + True 2 >>> True + False 1 >>> True + True + True 3 >>> True + True + False 2 >>> False + False 0 Why? Why does this make sense? I understand that True is often represented as 1, whereas False is represented as 0, but that still does not explain how adding two values together of the same type returns a completely different type.
