    - by Scott Weinstein
    I'm trying to figure out how to use PowerShell V2's Send-MailMessage with gmail. Here's what I have so far. $ss = new-object Security.SecureString foreach ($ch in "password".ToCharArray()) { $ss.AppendChar($ch) } $cred = new-object Management.Automation.PSCredential "[email protected]", $ss Send-MailMessage -SmtpServer smtp.gmail.com -UseSsl -Credential $cred -Body... I get the following error Send-MailMessage : The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.5.1 Authentication Required.   • WPF TextBox.SelectAll () doesn't work

    - by Zoliq
Hi! I have used the following template in my project: <DataTemplate x:Key="textBoxDataTemplate"> <TextBox Name="textBox" ToolTip="{Binding RelativeSource={RelativeSource Self}, Path=(Validation.Errors)[0].ErrorContent}" Tag="{Binding}" PreviewKeyDown="cellValueTextBoxKeyDown"> <TextBox.Text> <MultiBinding Converter="{StaticResource intToStringMultiConverter}"> <Binding Path="CellValue" Mode="TwoWay"> <Binding.ValidationRules> <y:MatrixCellValueRule MaxValue="200" /> </Binding.ValidationRules> </Binding> <Binding RelativeSource="{RelativeSource FindAncestor, AncestorType={x:Type y:MatrixGrid}}" Path="Tag" Mode="OneWay" /> </MultiBinding> </TextBox.Text> </TextBox> </DataTemplate> I used this template to create an editable matrix for the user. The user is able to navigate from cell to cell within the matrix and I would like to highlight the data in the selected textbox but it doesn't work. I called TextBox.Focus () and TextBox.SelectAll () to achieve the effect but nothing. The Focus () works but the text never gets highlighted. Any help is welcome and appreciated.

  • Why isn't the Spring AOP XML schema properly loaded when Tomcat loads & reads beans.xml

    - by chrisbunney
I'm trying to use Spring's Schema Based AOP Support in Eclipse and am getting errors when trying to load the configuration in Tomcat. There are no errors in Eclipse and auto-complete works correctly for the aop namespace, however when I try to load the project into eclipse I get this error: 09:17:59,515 WARN XmlBeanDefinitionReader:47 - Ignored XML validation warning org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: schema_reference.4: Failed to read schema document 'http://www.springframework.org/schema/aop/spring-aop-2.5.xsd', because 1) could not find the document; 2) the document could not be read; 3) the root element of the document is not . Caused by: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: cvc-complex-type.2.4.c: The matching wildcard is strict, but no declaration can be found for element 'aop:config'. Based on this, it seems the schema is not being read when Tomcat parses the beans.xml file, leading to the <aop:config> element not being recognised. • SetPartialRenderingMode can only be called once?

    - by lucian.jp
I have a asp.net web form full of ajax. Every time a postback is made, the server event execute correctly, but when the page is rendering I get this error : Error : Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: SetPartialRenderingMode can only be called once. A search with SetPartialRenderingMode on google was unsuccessful. It seems it is related to AjaxControlToolkit. I have created a simple demo project that reproduce the problem. You can find it here (VS 2008 .NET 3.5). Note that you only see the error in IE7, it doesn't work in FF either but no error appear.

  • "There were build errors. Would you like to continue and run the last successful build?" not showing

    - by Kevin Wilson
Hi, Not a massive problem but something that has been bugging the life out of me... One of my colleagues was trying out some code on my machine and got the "There were build errors. Would you like to continue and run the last successful build?" pop-up when the build failed on Visual Studio. He clicked on the "don't show this again" checkbox and closed the dialogue. My problem is that I can't get the dialogue to show up again. I found these instructions online: "Select Tools, Options, Projects and Solutions, Build and Run. Then set the option "On run, when build or deployment errors occur" to Prompt to Launch." but that doesn't work. Resetting the IDE settings to default don't make any difference either. Is there any way to get this dialogue back or has it gone forever? Thanks, K

  • Android: Adding extended GLSurfaceView to a Layout don't show 3d stuff

    - by Santiago
    I make a game extending the class GLSurfaceView, if I apply SetContentView directly to that class, the 3d stuff and input works great. Now I want to show some items over 3d stuff, so I create a XML with a layout and some objects, and I try to add my class manually to the layout. I'm not getting errors but the 3d stuff is not shown but I can view the objects from XML layout. source: @Override protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); LayoutInflater inflater = (LayoutInflater) getSystemService(LAYOUT_INFLATER_SERVICE); layout = (RelativeLayout) inflater.inflate(R.layout.testlayout, null); //Create an Instance with this Activity my3dstuff = new myGLSurfaceViewClass(this); layout.addView(my3dstuff,4); setContentView(R.layout.testlayout); } And testlayout have: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:id="@+id/Pantalla"> <ImageView android:id="@+id/zoom_less" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:src="@drawable/zoom_less"></ImageView> <ImageView android:id="@+id/zoom_more" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:src="@drawable/zoom_more" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:layout_alignParentRight="true"></ImageView> <ImageView android:id="@+id/zoom_normal" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:src="@drawable/zoom_normal" android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"></ImageView> <ImageView android:id="@+id/stop" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:src="@drawable/stop" android:layout_centerInParent="true" android:layout_alignParentBottom="true"></ImageView> </RelativeLayout> I also tried to add my class to XML but the Activity hangs up. <com.mygame.myGLSurfaceViewClass android:id="@+id/my3dstuff" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent"></com.mygame.myGLSurfaceViewClass> and this don't works: <View class="com.mygame.myGLSurfaceViewClass" android:id="@+id/my3dstuff" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent"></View> Any Idea? Thanks

  • Silverlight 4 Default Button Service

    - by Mark Cooper
For a few months I have been successfully using David Justices Default Button example in my SL 3 app. This approach is based on an attached property. After upgrading to SL4, the approach no longer works, and I get a XAML exception: "Unknown parser error: Scanner 2148474880" Has anyone succesfully used this (or any other) default button attached behaviours in SL4? Is there any other way to achieve default button behaviour in SL4 with the new classes that are available? Thanks, Mark

  • Multi-line strings in objective-c localized strings file

    - by chrispix
I have a template for an email that I've put in a localized strings file, and I'm loading the string with the NSLocalizedString macro. I'd rather not make each line its own string with a unique key. In Objective-C, I can create a human-readable multiline string like so: NSString *email = @"Hello %@,\n" "\n" "Check out %@.\n" "\n" "Sincerely,\n" "\n" "%@"; I tried to put that in a .strings file with: "email" = "Hello %@,\n" "\n" "Check out %@.\n" "\n" "Sincerely,\n" "\n" "%@"; But I get the following error at build time: CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): Old-style plist parser: missing semicolon in dictionary. email-template.strings: Unexpected character " at line 1 Command /Developer/Library/Xcode/Plug-ins/CoreBuildTasks.xcplugin/Contents/Resources/copystrings failed with exit code 1 I can concatenate it all together like this: "email" = "Hello %@,\n\nCheck out %@.\n\nSincerely,\n\n%@"; But that will be a mess to maintain, particularly as the email gets longer. Is there a way to do this in a localized strings file? I've already tried adding backslashes at the end of each line, to no avail.

  • Silverlight: Scrolling with a StackPanel

    - by programatique
    I have a grid, 3 by 3 (3 rowdefinitions and 3 columndefinitions). I want some content (a StackPanel) in one of those grid cells to scroll. I'm fairly sure this is possible but I cannot figure out how. I've tried adding ScrollViewers and Scrollbar controls to the grid cell I want to scroll, but this usually ends up creating scrolling for the entire page. Edit: My issue is more specificlly how I can get scrolling over a StackPanel. An example if the issue I am having is here: <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition/> <ColumnDefinition/> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition/> <RowDefinition/> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid> <TextBlock FontSize="16">1,1</TextBlock> </Grid> <Grid Grid.Column="1"> <TextBlock FontSize="16">1,2</TextBlock> </Grid> <Grid Grid.Row="1"> <TextBlock FontSize="16">2,1</TextBlock> </Grid> <Grid Grid.Column="1" Grid.Row="1"> <StackPanel> <TextBlock>Title</TextBlock> <Grid> <ScrollViewer> <StackPanel> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> <TextBlock FontSize="32">2,2</TextBlock> </StackPanel> </ScrollViewer> </Grid> </StackPanel> </Grid> </Grid>

  • Uninitialized constant Encoding with sqlite3-ruby on windows

    - by Ben Scheirman
On a new machine, installed ruby with the 1-click installer for windows. Installed rails 2.3.2 and all associated gems, then I installed the sqlite3 binaries (into the c:\ruby\bin folder). Lastly I did gem install sqlite3-ruby -v=1.2.3 (which is apparently the latest version that works with windows) This error happens when I run rake db:migrate or when any ActiveRecord object is touched at runtime. The error looks like this: ** Invoke db:migrate (first_time) ** Invoke environment (first_time) ** Execute environment ** Execute db:migrate rake aborted! **uninitialized constant Encoding** <---- Any help resolving this error would be greatly appreciated! • EXT-js PropertyGrid best practices to achieve an update ?

    - by Tom
Hello, I am using EXT-js for a project, usually everything is pretty straight forward with EXT-js, but with the propertyGrid, I am not sure. I'd like some advice about this piece of code. First the store to populate the property grid, on the load event: var configStore = new Ext.data.JsonStore({ // store config autoLoad:true, url: url.remote, baseParams : {xaction : 'read'}, storeId: 'configStore', // reader config idProperty: 'id_config', root: 'config', totalProperty: 'totalcount', fields: [{ name: 'id_config' }, { name: 'email_admin' } , { name: 'default_from_addr' } , { name: 'default_from_name' } , { name: 'default_smtp' } ],listeners: { load: { fn: function(store, records, options){ // get the property grid component var propGrid = Ext.getCmp('propGrid'); // make sure the property grid exists if (propGrid) { // populate the property grid with store data propGrid.setSource(store.getAt(0).data); } } } } }); here is the propertyGrid: var propsGrid = new Ext.grid.PropertyGrid({ renderTo: 'prop-grid', id: 'propGrid', width: 462, autoHeight: true, propertyNames: { tested: 'QA', borderWidth: 'Border Width' }, viewConfig : { forceFit: true, scrollOffset: 2 // the grid will never have scrollbars } }); So far so good, but with the next button, I'll trigger an old school update, and my question : Is that the proper way to update this component ? Or is it better to user an editor ? or something else... for regular grid I use the store methods to do the update, delete,etc... The examples are really scarce on this one! Even in books about ext-js! new Ext.Button({ renderTo: 'button-container', text: 'Update', handler: function(){ var grid = Ext.getCmp("propGrid"); var source = grid.getSource(); var jsonDataStr = null; jsonDataStr = Ext.encode(source); var requestCg = { url : url.update, method : 'post', params : { config : jsonDataStr , xaction : 'update' }, timeout : 120000, callback : function(options, success, response) { alert(success + "\t" + response); } }; Ext.Ajax.request(requestCg); } }); and thanks for reading.

  • Add an array of buttons to a GridView in an Android application

    - by Tai Squared
I have an application that will have 5-15 buttons depending on what is available from a backend. How do I define the proper GridView layout files to include an array of buttons that will each have different text and other attributes? Each button will essentially add an item to a cart, so the onClick code will be the same except for the item it adds to the cart. How can I define an array so I can add a variable number of buttons, but still reference each of them by a unique ID? I've seen examples of the arrays.xml, but they have created an array of strings that are pre-set. I need a way to create an object and not have the text defined in the layout or arrays xml file. Update - Added info about adding to a GridView I want to add this to a GridView, so calling the addView method results in an UnsupportedOperationException. I can do the following: ImageButton b2 = new ImageButton(getApplicationContext()); b2.setBackgroundResource(R.drawable.img_3); android.widget.LinearLayout container = (android.widget.LinearLayout) findViewById(R.id.lay); container.addView(b2); but that doesn't layout the buttons in a grid like I would like. Can this be done in a GridView?

The application: Sends a SOAP message to a British Government Server to get an authentication token based on the arugments passed Retrieves a response from that server in the form of a string which contains the authentication token. Thanks! P.S.: I installed wxWidgets through wxPack wich afaik comes with everything precomplied and i also added the wxWidgets directory to Global variables-base in Code::Blocks so everything should be correctly set, right?

  • jQgrid Pagination with query string

    - by bsreekanth
Hello, I recently started experimenting with jQgrid, and much appreciate for any guidance on the below use case. I need to implement a (advanced)search functionality, and the results are loaded in the jQgrid. When use pagination, how to specify a complex query in the post data? In the serverside (grails) it it represented as an object, which is mocked below class searchCommand { String val1 List<long> ids //from the multiple selection } the above members can be null, if the user doesn't select any. Without saving the state at the server, I guess the only way to make the pagination work is to pass the query object back and forth with the correct offset, index etc. if that is the case, how best to represent it in jQgrid side. I saw a parameter postData to set additional values, but not sure how to represnt the data (JSON??). Any code snippet on (retaining) converting it from the last result to postData would be helpful. thanks in advance.

Hello I am getting following error while attempting to run the Management Portal for ESB Toolkit 2.0: Event Type: Warning Event Source: ENTSSO Event Category: Enterprise Single Sign-On Event ID: 10536 Description: SSO AUDIT Function: GetConfigInfo (SSOProperties) Application Name: ESB Toolkit.exceptionHandling Error Code: 0xC0002A04, The application does not exist I am using SSO config store for the ESB Config. However, looking in the esb.config file, there is no section, like there is for the other esb SSO applications. Why might this section (and therefore the SSO app) be missing? How can I set it up? Thanks for any help with this Andrew

  • iPhone Curl Left and Curl Right transitions

    - by Dimitris
I am looking for a way to do a UIViewAnimationTransitionCurlUp or UIViewAnimationTransitionCurlDown transition on the iPhone but instead of top to bottom, do it from the left to right (or top/bottom in landscape mode). I've seen this asked aroud the internet a few times but none sems to get an answer. However I feel this is doable. I have tried changing the View's transform and the view.layer's transform but that didn't affect the transition. Since the transition changes when the device changes orientation I presume there is a way to fool the device to use the landscape transition in portrait mode and vice versa?

  • Problem with TimeZoneInfo.ConvertTime: missed the Daylight Saving switch.

    - by SirMoreno
My web app runs on .Net 3.5, all of the dates are saved on the DB in UTC time (not in user time). When I want to display a date I convert it to user date (from UTC) //Get the current datetime of the user exp: GMT TO ISRAEL +2 public static DateTime GetUserDateTime(DateTime dateUTC) { string userTzId = "Israel Standard Time"; TimeZoneInfo userTZ = TimeZoneInfo.FindSystemTimeZoneById(userTzId); dateUTC = DateTime.SpecifyKind(dateUTC, DateTimeKind.Utc); DateTime ret = TimeZoneInfo.ConvertTime(dateUTC, TimeZoneInfo.Utc, userTZ); return ret; } Until now it worked fine but I have users from Israel (GMT +2), and Israel switched to Daylight saving time on 26/3/10 so now it's (GMT +3). For some reason the TimeZoneInfo.ConvertTime don't know the Daylight saving time switch is on 26/3/10 so it still converts to GMT +2. The strange thing is that on localhost it works fine, I set up a test page: DateTime userdate = GetUserDateTime(DateTime.UtcNow); string str2 = "UserDateTime = " + userdate.ToString("dd/MM/yy") + " " + userdate.ToString("HH:mm"); On the Server (windows 2003 set to UTC time) it shows the wrong time (+2): UserDateTime = 27/03/10 21:38 On localhost (windows XP set to Israel Time) it shows the correct time (+3): UserDateTime = 27/03/10 22:38 How can I update the TimeZoneInfo that the Daylight saving time switch in Israel was on the 26/3/10? Thanks.

  • Refresh UltraGrid's GroupBy Sort on child bands when ListChanged?

    - by Idriss
I am using Infragistics 2009 vol 1. My UltraGrid is bound to a BindingList of business objects "A" having themself a BindingList property of business objects "B". It results in having two bands: one named "BindingList`1", the other one "ListOfB" thanks to the currency manager. I would like to refresh the GroupBy sort of the grid whenever a change is performed on the child band through the child business object and INotifyPropertyChange. If I group by a property in the child band which is a boolean (let's say "Active") and I subscribe to the event ListChanged on the bindinglist datasource with this event handler: void Grid_ListChanged(object sender, ListChangedEventArgs e) { if (e.ListChangedType == ListChangedType.ItemChanged) { string columnKey = e.PropertyDescriptor.Name; if (e.PropertyDescriptor.PropertyType.Name == "BindingList`1") { ultraGrid.DisplayLayout.Bands[columnKey].SortedColumns.RefreshSort(true); } else { UltraGridBand band = ultraGrid.DisplayLayout.Bands[0]; UltraGridColumn gc = band.Columns[columnKey]; if (gc.IsGroupByColumn || gc.SortIndicator != SortIndicator.None) { band.SortedColumns.RefreshSort(true); } ColumnFilter cf = band.ColumnFilters[columnKey]; if (cf.FilterConditions.Count > 0) { ultraGrid.DisplayLayout.RefreshFilters(); } } } } the band.SortedColumns.RefreshSort(true) is called but It gives unpredictable results in the groupby area when the property Active is changed in the child band: if one object out of three actives becomes inactive it goes from: Active : True (3 items) To: Active : False (3 items) Instead of (which is the case when I drag the column back and forth to the group by area) Active : False (1 item) Active : True (2 items) Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to restore the expanded state of the rows when performing a RefreshSort(true); ?

  • ASP.NET MVC: Render checkbox list from MultiSelectList

    - by aximili
How do you associate a MultiSelectList with a list of checkboxes? eg. I pass something like this to the model model.Groups = new MultiSelectList(k.Groups, "Id", "Name", selectedGroups) How should I render it? This doesn't work <% foreach (var item in Model.Groups.Items) { %> <input type="checkbox" name="groups" value="<%=item.Value%>" id="group<%=item.Value%>" checked="<%=item.Selected?"yes":"no"%>" /> <label for="group<%=item.Value%>"><%=item.Text%></label> <% } %> Error CS1061: 'object' does not contain a definition for 'Value'... Is there a HTML Helper method that I can use? (Then, unless it is straightforward, how should I then get the selected values back on the Controller when the form is submitted?)
