  • Problem with core data migration mapping model

    I have an iphone app that uses Core Data to do storage. I have successfully deployed it, and now I'm working on the second version. I've run into a problem with the data model that will require a few very simple data transformations at the time that the persistent store gets upgraded, so I can't just use the default inferred mapping model. My object model is stored in an .xcdatamodeld bundle, with versions 1.0 and 1.1 next to each other. Version 1.1 is set as the active version. Everything works fine when I use the default migration behavior and set NSInferMappingModelAutomaticallyOption to YES. My sqlite storage gets upgraded from the 1.0 version of the model, and everything is good except for, of course, the few transformations I need done. As an additional experimental step, I added a new Mapping Model to the core data model bundle, and have made no changes to what xcode generated. When I run my app (with an older version of the data store), I get the following * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: 'Object's persistent store is not reachable from this NSManagedObjectContext's coordinator' What am I doing wrong?     In my application I am using Images, these images can be .tga(Targa Graphic) file as well, when I am creating instance of BitmapImage using .tga file, it throws exception saying "No imaging component suitable to complete this operation was found.". Is there any other way to work with .tga file in wpf? How can I use these(.tga) files just like any other .jpg(Image file) in wpf?

  • Is it possible to Take object members directly from a queue of type object?

    Hi all, If I where to have a Queue holding a collection of objects (Custom object,bool,bool,bool,bool) and the custom object holds three doubles itself. Can I use the .Take(IntegerValue) command to only take one of the doubles (for the specified take length) from the custom entity contained in the queue and cast it to a double array, possibly with the .ToArray<double> function?     I've referenced the MSMQ v3 Object Library in a VS2010 C# project only to get: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {0188401C-247A-4FED-99C6-BF14119D7055} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)). I've registered the library the reference points to: regsvr32 C:\windows\system32\mqoa.dll What am I missing? Assuming this works, what will I have to do at deployment to ensure the app will run on other machines with MSMQ installed?

To keep your domain code form being bloated with handling of all versions of events you would basically introduce a component that converts your events from previous to newer versions, and then apply them on the domain. Remember that events are things that actually happened in your domain so in most cases the information in deprecated events are valuable. I still haven't found any example of this. Any help?

  • UISwitch within UIScrollview nearly impossible to use....

    Hi there. I'm using a UISwitch-Component at the bottom of a view that sits within a UIScrollView. Now the problem that appeared, is that the switch is nearly impossible to swipe because the UIScrollView seems to dominate the userinput. Switching works very well by tapping the switch, but from my point of view, most users "switch" the UISwitch instead of tapping. Did anyone of you face the same / or similar problems and managed to come up with a solution? thx in advance sam
