    I'm installing the Bitnami Redmine stack (redmine + subversion). Firstly I install configure and test it locally (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS). And everything is OK. I install Bitnami stack on server (Red Hat 4.4.7-4) and configure SVN. I commit files into SVN and connect project into Redmine with SVN repository, but when I try see it Rredmine displays 404 error.   • SQL Server 2008 Restore from Backup fails with error 3241 'cannot process this media family'

    I am attempting to backup a database from a SQL Server instance on one machine and restore it to another, and I am encountering the frequently discovered 'SQL Server cannot process this media family' error. Each of my instances are SQL Server 2008, but with different patch levels Restore: 10.0.2531.0 Backup: 10.0.1600.22 ((SQL_PreRelease).080709-1414 ) The restore DB is express. Not sure about the backup version. The backup version is on a virtual private server. The restore is on my development box. When I restore to a different database on the source (backup) server, it restores fine. Lots of stuff on google about this issue, some on stackoverflow about this issue, but nothing which is this exact situation. Any thoughts? It should be straightforward to do a backup and restore from one machine to another (having done this thousands of times in with SQL 6.5,7,2000,2005). Any ideas how to restore a database in this situation, which gives this error when attempting to restore? PARTIAL RESOLUTION: When I restored to a different box, running SQL 2008 Express on Windows Server 2003, all worked well. It just wouldn't work on the Windows 7 box. Not sure why. If anyone else has a similar experience, please let me know (there are many similar issues in different forums out there).

    I have a server which has centos installed in it. Recently I have installed jdk 1.6 into it. When I try to run java command from shell it's working perfectly fine. Java is stored into /usr/java/jdk1.6.0_25 and path is set to /usr/bin/ when I type which java.     Running Ubuntu 12.04 and trying to configure postfix to relay send and receive through GMAIL. Am running into connection issues particularly with TLS. Have tried a bunch of troubleshooting solutions and have changed my main.cf to address TLS but still receive the below errors.     I needed my script to email admin if there is a problem, and the company only uses Gmail. Following a few posts instructions I was able to set up mailx using a .mailrc file. there was first the error of nss-config-dir I solved that by copying some .db files from a firefox directory. to ./certs and aiming to it in mailrc. A mail was sent. However, the error above came up. By some miracle, there was a Google certificate in the .db. It showed up with this command: ~]$ certutil -L -d certs Certificate Nickname Trust Attributes SSL,S/MIME,JAR/XPI GeoTrust SSL CA ,, VeriSign Class 3 Secure Server CA - G3 ,, Microsoft Internet Authority ,, VeriSign Class 3 Extended Validation SSL CA ,, Akamai Subordinate CA 3 ,, MSIT Machine Auth CA 2 ,, Google Internet Authority ,, Most likely, it can be ignored, because the mail worked anyway. Finally, after pulling some hair and many googles, I found out how to rid myself of the annoyance. First, export the existing certificate to a ASSCII file: ~]$ certutil -L -n 'Google Internet Authority' -d certs -a > google.cert.asc Now re-import that file, and mark it as a trusted for SSL certificates, ala: ~]$ certutil -A -t "C,," -n 'Google Internet Authority' -d certs -i google.cert.asc After this, listing shows it trusted: ~]$ certutil -L -d certs Certificate Nickname Trust Attributes SSL,S/MIME,JAR/XPI ... Also, I am curious about somethings. How could I get this certificate, if it were not in the mozilla database by chance?     Currently I had a situation where I sent an email to [email protected], but when I receive mail from [email protected], it showed as [email protected], with extra '.com' behind the email address, this just happen within this week. Before this, I didn't change any setting, currently I am using Outlook 2010. When I checked the email in webmail, it also showed it as [email protected]. It seem that it has nothing to do with Outlook. However, I also tried on Thunderbird 16.0.1, but still the problem is the same. Has anyone experienced this before? Is the problem caused by the sender or receiver? An attempt to provide different printers on a different Windows 2003 server with print services for Unix newly enabled causes CUPS to behave like this: a newly defined printer will be in state "Idle". An attempt to print causes CUPS to change the printer state to "Disabled". Escape character is '^]' Connection closed by foreign host. Windows clients successfully print to the CIFS/SMB share of the hp755cm_ps printer. What other reasons are there for Windows to refuse an lpd request?

    I'm trying to control services on one W2k8 machine from another; no domain just a workgroup. The user account I'm logged in as is an administrator on both machines. I've tried both psservice and sc.exe. These work in a Windows Server 2003 environment but it looks like I need to an extra step or two due to the changed security model in 2008. Any ideas as to how grant permission to the Service Control Manager (psservice) or OpenService (sc)? I tried running the DOS window with "Run As Administrator" and it made no difference. Why doesn't it work when binding with a postfix DN? I think I set up the LDAP ACL for the postfix user correctly, as the ldapsearch command should prove. What can be the reason for this behaviour?

  • Problem posting multipart form data using Apache with mod_proxy to a mongrel instance

    I am attempting to simulate my site's production environment as closely as I can on my local machine. This is a rails site that uses Apache w/ mod_proxy to forward requests to a mongrel cluster. On my Mac OSX Leopard machine, I have the default install of apache running and have configured a vhost to use mod_proxy to to forward requests to a local running mongrel instance on port 3000. <Proxy balancer://mongrel_cluster-development> BalancerMember http://127.0.0.1:3000 </Proxy> For the most part, this is working fine. I can browse my development site using the ServerName of the vhost I configured and can confirm that requests are being properly forwarded to the mongrel instance. However, there is a page on the site that has a multipart form that is used to upload an image to the server. When I post this form, there is a delay of about 5 minutes and the browser ultimately returns a Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. In the error log for my vhost: [Tue Sep 22 09:47:57 2009] [error] (70007)The timeout specified has expired: proxy: prefetch request body failed to 127.0.0.1:3000 (127.0.0.1) from ::1 () This same form works fine if I browse directly to the mongrel instance (http://127.0.0.1:3000). Anybody have any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it? If there is any important information that I neglected to include, post a comment, and I can add to this question. Note: Upon further investigation, this appears to be a problem specific to Safari. The form works fine in Firefox.
