  • Facebook Like Button XFBML comment not working

    I am implementing a Like button from Facebook per this document: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like I am using the XFBML version so that users can add comments when they click on the Like button. I have imported the Facebook JavaScript SDK an am using a valid App ID. The button appears and I am able to "Like" the page, but I am never prompted for comments. Is anybody else running into these issues? Anybody know of a fix?

    Hi all, I am using iPhone OS 3.0 SDK. My requirement is that I want to get the image from the photo albums library and display it on an image view. I am using the "UIImagePickerController" for that. But the problem is the "- (void)imagePickerController:(UIImagePickerController *)picker didFinishPickingImage:(UIImage *)imageeditingInfo:(NSDictionary *)editingInfo" delegate method is deprecated in iPhone OS 3.0 , so is there any alternative for getting the Image from the UIImagePickerController.   • Debugging on an iPhone device

    I have a developer license and I've generated .mobileprovision and .cer files. I've put the provision file on my device, double-clicked the .cer file and added it to the login keychain. But when I'm trying to build the app in XCode, I get the error: CodeSign error: code signing is required for product type 'Application' in SDK 'Device - iPhone OS 3.1.3' What am I doing wrong?   • Disable keyboard input on Android TimePicker

    I'm developing and Android app using the 1.6 sdk. I'm using a TimePicker and I don't want the soft keyboard to come up when you click on the digits in the TimePicker. I only want the TimePicker to be changed using the plus and minus buttons. I've tried using android:focusable="false" and android:focusableInTouchMode="false" hoping those would do it, but they didn't seem to do anything. Is there a way to do this?

  • Instruments freezes and restarts iPod touch 2g

    I can't get my application running with instruments. I tried running through xcode with run-start with performance tool, instruments starts, iPod gets stuck and restarts everytime. It is really annoying. I am on 10.6.2, xcode 3.2.2 and using 3.2.1 SDK. Need help!

  • "Official" Way to deploy Assemblies into the GAC?

    I just wonder - if I need to deploy an assembly into the GAC, what is the "official" way of doing it? Currently we either manually drag/drop into the c:\windows\assembly folder or we use gacutil.exe. The first way is obviously not the good one (it's manual process after all), and gacutil is part of the SDK and not available per default on production servers. Are there any Microsoft deployment Guidelines?

  • Cannot add Silverlight Maps Control to Windows Mobile 7 application

    I know the bits just came out today, but one of the first things I want to do with the newly released Windows Mobile 7 SDK is put a map up on the screen and mess around. I've downloaded the latest version of the Silverlight Maps Control and added the references to my application. As a matter of fact, the VS 2010 design view of the MainPage.xaml shows the map control after adding the namespace and placing the control. I'm using the provided VS 2010 Express version that comes with the Win Mobile 7 SDK and have just used the New Project - Windows Phone Application template. When I try to build I get two warnings related to the Microsoft.Maps.MapControl dll's. Warning 1 The primary reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" could not be resolved because it has an indirect dependency on the framework assembly "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e" which could not be resolved in the currently targeted framework. "Silverlight,Version=v4.0,Profile=WindowsPhone". To resolve this problem, either remove the reference "Microsoft.Maps.MapControl, Version=1.0.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=498d0d22d7936b73, processorArchitecture=MSIL" or retarget your application to a framework version which contains "System.Windows.Browser, Version=2.0.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e".   • How to get Facebook share behavior with Facebook Connect on iPhone

    With the standard share at http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php one only needs to specify a URL. Title and thumbnail are automatically pulled from the web page (perhaps with the help of meta tags). With Facebook Connect (I am using the iPhone SDK), I need to supply everything explicitly (URL, title, caption, description, images, etc.). Is there a way to emulate the "share" behavior with Facebook Connect, i.e. let Facebook pull the missing elements from the page being shared itself?

  • Would it be possible to speed up Android Emulator by removing unnecessary apps\

    I am using Android SDK 1.6 and developing some simple apps. It seems everytime Android Emulator loads every default apps, like message music browser etc... I guess this cause the booting process slow (takes 1 minute overhead for me to test the code every time). Would it be possible to take these apps out and just have my apps on the emulator? My purpose is to have a faster boot up time on emulator. Thanks.

  • Aquatic Prime on 10.6?

    Hello, I have 2 applications that I use with Aquatic Prime. One is an application just with the Aquatic Prime framework, and the other is an application that I've been working on that has been incorporated with the Aquatic Prime framework. The first application I mentioned before has its SDK set to 10.5 with the architecture to 32-bit. The second application I made has its SDK that is set to 10.6 (which it has to since I need NSRunningApplication) and its architecture to 32-bit. Now my question is, whenever I debug my first application it works perfectly fine, but with my second it gives me this interrupted error right after Running. What's going wrong? I've tried doing some breakpoints like "objc-exception-throw" but all it says is stopped at breakpoint 1. I need 10.6 in my application, but I also need Aquatic Prime. Can anyone help me solve this problem?     I'm writing an Air application using only Actionscript, and Flex3 SDK as the compiler. Everything compiles and runs fine under adl, but when the final air file is built and installed, the main class is never initialized. For instance: package { import flash.display.Sprite; public class main extends Sprite { public function main() { trace("Init"); } } } When run under ADL, "Init" will be output to the console, but when installed and run, nothing happens (the constructor for class main is never called).

    Hi Folks, since yesterday is my app not rendering the xfbml Tags (name and picture). Iam using the new JavaScript SDK inside an Canvas-Iframe Application. Firebug tells me the following inside the console: Get: http://0.channel20.facebook.com/x/3332504234/true/p_1348362044=0 And after a while: XFBML tags failed to render in 30000ms. Does someone has the same problems, or know why this happens?

    Hi all, I've got a core data-based app for iPhone and I'm getting the following warning: objc[2472]: Class Property is implemented in both /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Notes.framework/Notes and /var/mobile/Applications/B69194FF-448F-48AD-A78D-DDB8935F/AmcCalc.app/AmcCalc. One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined. When I started working on this app back with SDK 3.0 I didn't get this error, so how do I deal with this? Thanks! Bjorn

  • Is it possible to port a Windows RT app to a Windows Phone app?

    Just recently released an application to the Windows Store, and I'm wondering if it is possible to "downgrade" it to Windows Phone 7.1 - until Windows Phone 8 will arrive. The real problem is with the async stuff, I've found the "Async Targeting Pack", but it requires Visual Studio 2012; however VS2012 doesn't work with the Phone SDK 7.0, 7.1. I'm not in the mood to install old and ugly Visual Studio 2010 on my brand new Windows 8 machine :) Does anyone know a workaround?
