• Why is the image not showing in IE7?

  I have an image on this page in the blue bar area. It shows up fine in FF, Safari, IE8 & Chrome, but it does not show up in IE7. Here is the HTML: <div id="featuredImage"> <img src="images/website_design_charlotte.jpg" width="960" height="159" alt="" /> </div> Here is the CSS: #featuredImage { position: absolute; z-index: 9; top: 129px; left: 0; } #featuredImage img { width: 986px; height: 159px; position: relative; z-index: 10; } Would appreciate some help getting this to show up properly in IE7. • Image Size for Animation!

  Hi Everybody, I m new to iphone app development and i need some help. I have a list of 30 images that i have to animate and display with 0.1 second interval. I put all the images in an Array using this imageletter.animationImages = [NSArray arrayWithObjects:[UIImage imageNamed:@"1.png"], ...... ,nil] And then animate it using these statements, [imageletter setAnimationDuration:16]; [imageletter startAnimating]; [NSTimer scheduledTimerWithTimeInterval:mytime target:self selector:@selector(StopAfterCertainTime) userInfo:nil repeats:NO]; Now the problem is that the size of each image is 8kb , it runs fine on iphone simulator but crashes on device. When i used 30 other images of 4kb each it runs fine both on simulator and device. Can anybody tell me what is the ideal size for such kind of task. Thanks

• Multi dimensional array with get image data

  I'm really confused with an array im making, its gotten a bit confusing to follow but i believe its the only way for me to approach what im trying to do. My idea here is to store getImageData in an array so i can link each image to an array of data. This is how i create my array: var listObj = { id: uid, extra: [ ctx2.getImageData(abposx,abposy,imgwidth,imgheight) ] }; pixeld.push(listObj); So now im trying to run through the array "pixeld" to find the uid but i don't know how the syntax should be.... this is what i tried: for (j = (pixeld.length-1); j > -1; --j){ if(pixeld[j].extra.data[3] !==0){ //line 220 matches.push(pixeld[j].id); } } The problem is i get this error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property '3' of undefined on line 220 I have marked which line is 220 in the for loop. Any one know what my mistake is ?

• Image as a background of a form in Delphi

  I'm using Delphi 2006. I have a few PNG images with transparencies and I have to create a GUI using them (top bar, left panel...). The images have different aligns properties. One of the images is the background of the form. The problem here is that I can't align it as alClient because it only occupies the rectangular zone that the other images have left, showing the naked canvas in their transparent zones. What I need is that the background image is put behind all the other images and taking all the canvas size. Is there anyway to do this? I know I can do this writting some logic in the OnResize event of the form but I was just curious if I was missing something. Thanks.

  TEXT, NTEXT and IMAGE have been deprecated a long time ago and will, eventually, be removed from SQL Server. However, they are not going to be discontinued right away, not even in the next version of SQL Server, so it's not convenient for my enterprise to transform thousands of columns right away, even if it is using SQL Server 2012. What arguments can I use to postpone this migration? I know there are some advantages in using the new types. But I'm strictly looking for reasons not to migrate my data that is already functioning pretty well in the old types.

  I want to share some image Icons between two applications. I stored the icons in a folder from Application 1 and tried use the folder from application 2. That time i got some permission issue. I was not able add the permission also because it is not a rooted device. So i am now trying to store the icons in a content provider. Is it possible to store the images in a Content provider ? Is there any other good method to implement this ? Please help.

  So rails appends timestamps to CSS, JS and image files: image_tag 'foo.png' => <img src="foo.png?123123123123' /> # or somethin like that ...which is really useful for doing far-future expiration, etc. with Apache's help. But what about images referenced from stylesheets? They don't get an appended timestamp. So it seems to me that it's entirely possible to update one of those images, redeploy, and then not see the file change because the browser doesn't think it's been updated. Unless I'm missing something. If I'm not, is there a decent solution to this problem?

  Hi, I am completely new to PHP so forgive me if this question seems very rudimentry. And thank you in advance. I need to include a jpg that is generated from a webcam on another page. However I need to include only the latest jpg file. Unfortunately the webcam creates a unique filename for each jpg. How can I use include or another function to only include the latest image file?   Hi, I have pretty much tried everything but still have this same problem. I have the following setup: I have a images.jar containing a folder called 'images' in which there are multiple image files. I add images.jar to the java build path of the project in eclipse, and i've been trying to use the following code to access the individual images in the jar: URL url = this.getClass().getResource("images/a.png"); ImageIcon icon = new ImageIcon (url); Unfortunately, the URL object is always NULL. I don't think this has anything to do with where I put images.jar file as it is added to the classpath in eclipse. I have also tried using the path '/images/a.png', but still the same problem. Any suggestion would be extremely welcome! Thanks.

  I need to be able to center the image vertically for all the common resolutions. A lot of ppl here on SO have already asked this question before, and 90% of then give this tutorial http://www.jakpsatweb.cz/css/css-vertical-center-solution.html as an answer. However, when viewed at my 1280 by 1024 res monitor in FF, it's not centered. And worse yet, it breaks horribly in IE7. So, it's definitely NOT the answer. Am I chasing the impossible dream? The solution has to work for FF and IE 6/7 the solution can be anything that would work, though being a bit of a purist, I would prefer a div over table:)

• IE7 cutting off image

  Hi all I have 3 divs with rollover images inside them stacked vertically inside my main content div. IE7 is chopping off about three quarters of the bottom div and I can't figure out why.
