    Hi, I am a novice with Websphere MQ and require some novice help. I am using Websphere MQ Explorer to connect to a queue but do not know how to write the connection string. I have all the details (host, port, channel, queue manager name) but do not know how to put them together correctly as a connection string. Can any help this novice? Thanks

    I use a dbml for my Data Access Layer to provide the data that i need in my app. When i connect from the server explorer everything seems fine. I choose to use my windows authentication and the connection test shows everything works just fine. When i Build my solution and run it on my IIS it says that i'm using a login that is not working. For some reason when testing it in IE 6 and 7 the jQuery does not work (the images are there but static) I get the following error message: Internet Explorer Script Error.   • SQL. Sorting by a field

    I have created a simple view consisting of 3 tables in SQL. By right clicking and selecting Design, in the Object explorer table, i modified my custom view. I just added sortby asc in a field. The problem is that the changes are not reflected in the outout of the View. After saving the view, and selecting Open view the sort is not displayed in output. So what is going on here?

    When I debug my application I get frequently Launch error: Failed to connect to remote VM even If I try again it doesn't help, I need to restart Eclipse. Edit Not sure yet fully if the symptoms have to do with the fact that I get this error only when I launch Debug without a code modification. Whenever I do a modification to the source code and hit Debug it goes through, but if I don't it doesn't.

  • How can I display different icons for same file extension

    Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on. I'm asking on stack overflow as a developer - for my application, but if you feel this belongs on another forum, I'm happy to move the discussion elsewhere. Thank you!

  • Long time to load first sql connection in .NET

    For some reason it takes 7 seconds to open a connection to a sql server database for the firt time, subsequent connections takes a second. any idea what could be the reason? I'm using C# and asp.net Its after compilation, i essence every time i restart the site, which means every time it needs to actualy create the "first" connection. i understand that setting up connection pooling has overhead, but i have never seen that i should take 7 second to set it up.

I have also given permission to my app in the manifest.xml <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"/> When I try to access this folder my app crashes as the folder is not present.

    Hi, When I use this to write to my app.config file: Configuration config =ConfigurationManager.OpenExeConfiguration(ConfigurationUserLevel.None); config.AppSettings.Settings["Wachtwoord"].Value = "Test"; config.Save(); ConfigurationManager.RefreshSection("appSettings"); I can read it again. But when i close and restart the program, the value of "Wachtwoord" has changed again to the old value. Does anybody how I could fix this? Thanks

When I create a New web Application it has References folder but when I add new .aspx file it also adds .aspx.designer.cs file with it and its does not show master page option in add dialogue. but in the old web application it shows the master page option where master page file is already added. whats the difference between these two solutions.

    Hi Folks, I'm curious what would be the best practice to extend the Date constructor. The problem I'm facing is, that the Internet Explorer (< 7+8) can't parse a date like new Date('2010-05-11'); I have to admit that this is not a standard method to parse, anyways FireFox and Chrome perform well on that kind of date string. Now I'm wondering, should I just split/parse/rebuild the string before calling new Date() or is there a more elegant solution ?

    I have created some program using python on Windows Vista. But I want to deploy it on Windows XP. Is it necessary to make new build on windows XP? Or there is possibility to make build that will work on both of these systems?     I am a bit puzzled by this strange behavior on CentOs 5.4 when starting Tomcat 6.0 as a service I've added a script at /etc/init.d/tomcat that can start/stop/restart Apache Tomcat 6.0 with user 'tomcat', and registered it as service. The problem with the service is that I am getting a 'Neither the JAVA_HOME nor the JRE_HOME environment variable is defined'. But when type 'sudo -u tomcat echo $JAVA_HOME' I get '/usr/java/jdk1.5.0_22' which is correct since I am using that JDK. What can I do about this?

  • Restoring and passing data to an already running instance of a .NET application

    The goal is to have an application that runs in the system tray and can either accept user input from its actual GUI (which isn't the actual issue) OR accept command line parameters (that would actually be done via a context menu in windows explorer). Now, while I'm aware that the command line parameters are not exactly possible once the application has started, I need a way to pass data to the already running application instance via some form of handler. I'm thinking maybe define and raise some sort of event? Thanks in advance.
