  • Trac & Sqlite PK problem

    I create my trac enviromnets using a sqlite database, it works very well. Now i want to get some information directly from the database and i'm using C# to do it using System.Data.SQLite. The problem i have is an error in the designer cause the tables don't have primary keys. After get this error i went and noticed that all tables that have more than one primary key defined in the schema were not 'converted' to sqlite, that information is lost. I believe the problem is in sqlite_backend.py but python isn't my speciality and i'm in a hurry so if you can guide me to a quick fix. thank you.

  • Using Visual sudio .ncb file for reflection.

    I am developing visual game level editor in c++. For this I want reflection(RTTI) mechanism to know class attributes at runtime. I am currently using PDB files for this.But using PDB I couldn't retrieve actual code line for extra information in commented format which is given for that attribute. Visual studio uses NCB files for intelligence. So will it be better idea to use NCB instead PDB? If yes,How to retrieve information from NCB files? Is there any SDK like DIA SDK?

  • How to find the mime type of a file in python?

    Let's say you want to save a bunch of files somewhere, for instance in BLOBs. Let's say you want to dish these files out via a web page and have the client automatically open the correct application/viewer. Assumption: The browser figures out which application/viewer to use by the mime-type (content-type?) header in the HTTP response. Based on that assumption, in addition to the bytes of the file, you also want to save the MIME type. How would you find the MIME type of a file? I'm currently on a Mac, but this should also work on Windows. Does the browser add this information when posting the file to the web page? Is there a neat python library for finding this information?   • OpenGL ES canvas size

    Ahoy, I'm working on an OpenGL ES based game for Android using the NDK. My application is targeted towards SDK 1.6 and above. I seem to be having a problem creating a canvas of the phones native size. My rendering is done through a native gameloop that uses OpenGL 1.0. I'm using the emulator and that gives me a 480x320 canvas -- this is totally fine. Then, when I run the same application on my HTC Desire which has a native resolution of 800x480 I'm getting a canvas of 533x320. Anyone have any information on how to deal with/solve this? Any other information about this is also appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  • java/swing: Shape questions: serializing and combining

    I have two questions about java.awt.Shape. Suppose I have two Shapes, shape1 and shape2. How can I serialize them in some way so I can save the information to a file and later recreate it on another computer? (Shape is not Serializable but it does have the getPathIterator() method which seems like you could get the information out but it would be kind of a drag + I'm not sure how to reconstruct a Shape object afterwards.) How can I combine them into a new Shape so that they form a joint boundary? (e.g. if shape1 is a large square and shape2 is a small circle inside the square, I want the combined shape to be a large square with a small circular hole)

  • Getting Image size of JPEG from its binary

    Hi I have a lot of jpeg files with varying image size. For instance, here is the first 640 bytes as given by hexdump of an image of size 256*384(pixels): 0000000: ffd8 ffe0 0010 4a46 4946 0001 0101 0048 ......JFIF.....H 0000010: 0048 0000 ffdb 0043 0003 0202 0302 0203 .H.....C........ 0000020: 0303 0304 0303 0405 0805 0504 0405 0a07 ................ 0000030: 0706 080c 0a0c 0c0b 0a0b 0b0d 0e12 100d ................ I guess the size information mus be within these lines. But am unable to see which bytes give the sizes correctly. Can anyone help me find the fields that contains the size information?

  • Question about "Link Map" output and "Assume" directive of MASM assembler.

    I am new to MASM. So the questions may be quite basic. When I am using the MASM assembler, there's an output file called "Link Map". Its content is composed of the starting offset and length of various segments, such as Data segment, Code segment and Stack segment. I am wondering that, where are these information describing? Are they talking about how various segments are located within an EXE file or, how segments are located within memory after the EXE file being loaded into memory by a program loader? BTW: What does the "Assume" directive do? My understanding is that it tell the assembler to emit some information into the exe file header so the program loader could use it to set DS, CS, SS, ES register accordingly. Am I right on this?     I have developed a HTTP Handler Web Service, and have had it successfully deployed, through testing on other environments i've ran into another problem. This is the error message I receive: You have attempted to execute a CGI, ISAPI, or other executable program from a directory that does not allow programs to be executed. HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied. Internet Information Services (IIS) So it is obvious what needs to be fixed, so: 1) Start Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. 2) Right-click the Web site that contains the SharePoint Web site that you created, and then click Properties. 3) Click the Home Directory tab. 4) Under Application settings, click either Scripts only in the Execute permissions list or Scripts and Executables in the Execute permissions list (as appropriate to your situation). Click OK. 5) Quit IIS Manager. But I'm still getting the same error. So what else could be wrong?

  • Create a Font using strings pulled from a string table.

    I am writing a tool to create an otf or ttc with only characters defined in our localized string table, so we can cut down memory usage. I already have the information for the Japanese characters we are using but I am unable to find an example of creating a new font based around these characters. Does anyone know of a good example or even the interface I can access to do this? I am working in C# with .NET 3.5. I am looking into Volt and TTOasm from Microsoft, but I am not sure if they will do exactly what I need. Any information is appreciated. Thanks, Matt Smith

  • design time usercontrols - I can't see anything!

    newbie question, please forgive... I'm developing a Wpf UserControl that will eventually be bound to a business object. The usercontrol is little more than a series of laid out TextBlocks, and perhaps (later) an image or two. As I'm laying out the usercontrol, I can put dummy text into all the TextBlocks so I can see what the usercontrol will look like, but as soon as I change the text property to contain the Binding information: <TextBlock Margin="0,12.8,42,0" Name="lblLastName" FontSize="8" Height="19" VerticalAlignment="Top" Text="{Binding Mode=OneWay, Path=LastName}"/> Then I can no longer see the textbox, or any "placeholder" text. This makes it very difficult to adjust the location and sizes of all the controls on the UserControl. In WinFormas programming, you could set binding information independently of the Text property, so you could at least see the Placeholder text during design time development. It's going to be pretty hard to visually arrange a bunch of invisible TextBlocks! What's the standard solution for this?

(Just like Eclipse and Java) I think I need to talk to the C# Language Service for this information, but searching for "Language Service" just yields results on how to CREATE one, not how to use one of the existing ones... To get this question a little more general: How do I get information about properties of the code (static/visibility etc) for using it in a VSX?

  • Why doesn't Inno Setup compiler set the version info correctly from hudson?

    If I run Inno Setup compiler from a command line/batch file it creates an exe with the version information in the file name. However, when I run from hudson (same command line) I don't get the version information. Perhaps I am missing something. Is this a known issue? This is the way I am doing it in the iss script file. #define FileVerStr GetFileVersion(SrcApp) EDIT: The env vars are all set for all users - not just my login - so the service has access to everything that the command line build does.     Has anybody some information about accessing Lotus Domino server to fetch entire mail contents by http(s) requests from php linux server? The article by Andrei Kouvchinnikov describes well how to fetch message list in notes mail folders; after obtaining session id during login one can for example select top 100 messages by calling: https://your.server.domain/mail_db/mailbox.nsf/($Inbox)?ReadViewEntries&Start=1&Count=100 And this works perfectly. The problem arises when I am trying to get message contents (0A1DA5EEB7B65277C12576F50055D811 is an example message unique Id): https://your.server.domain/mail_db/mailbox.nsf/($Inbox)/0A1DA5EEB7B65277C12576F50055D811/?OpenDocument Such request in IE shows frameset with data hard to parse, in less common browsers like Opera it informs about unsupported browser. Ideally if it is possible to fetch notes message contents and all attachments by requesting it in the url, has anybody some information what request would it be? Link to Lotus web calls reference would be even more beneficial.

  • Best way to encrypt certain fiels in SQL Server 2008?

    I'm writing a .net web app that will read and write information to a SQL 2008 backend database. Some of this information will be highly confidential in nature so I want to encrypt certain data elements. I dont want to use TDE or any full-database encryption for performance reasons. My main concern is protecting this sensitive data as a last resort against a SQL injection or even a database server compromise. My question is what is the best way to do this to preserve performance? Is it faster to use the SQL2008 encryption functions such as EncryptByKey, or would it be faster to encrypt and decrypt the data in the .NET web app itself using a symmetric key stored in the secure web.config and store the encrypted values in the DB?

  • Code for adding Content Controls Word 2007 C#

    Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has any idea how I can add Content Controls to a Word Document (Office 2007) from the Document Task/Action Pane via C#. The goal is the following: I want to have categorized information in the Task/Action Pane and have the user fill out the info there. Once they have filled out that information they'll click on a button and it will insert content Controls into the Word Document that has that Data. The reason I want to use Content Controls is because the data will be bound to a database. Is this possible? I would like links that do this without WordProcessingML or OpenXML. There has to be a way to do this via server side code and such that doesn't require long blocks of ,, etc. Thanks!

    While building an ecommerce platform I have run into design problems. I'm working with the built-in CodeIgniter's cart class. It stores all the cart information in session. Let say that cart has already been filled with products and user clicks checkout. When should I store order in database? Just after that click or after several steps of gathering information and stoing it in session? How to deal with additional features like different shipping methods? Should I add it to the basket first and get additional (gift address) to session? I dont want to store it in database because of the relation between gift address and order is needed and since I dont know what's the ID of the order. I'm puzzled :) Additionally I think its crucial to keep cart aware of shipping methods and additional bought services (by selecting gift address there is an extra fee) because the cart content is just like an reciept? In brief, what is the best practice to process checkout?

    Hello, I am using a device running on WindowsCE 5.00. I cannot connect the GPRS, there is an error message telling that the port cannot be opened and may be in use by another application. I am not sure but I think the port it is talking about is a comp port to the SIM card that cannot be opened because the SIM doesn't work anymore. To tell the truth, it is likely that one of my coworker did lock the SIM and kept his mouth shut ... How could I get any information about the SIM on Windows CE ?     Hello, I'm looking for examples + information on how to extract certificate information from the windows certificate store and perform operations like verifying signatures using the retrieved certificates. The API documentation for C# in this regard is quite poor, with many of the entries in msdn marked with "This language is not supported, or no code example is available.", I'm sorry I can't be more specific, I haven't done any programming using cryptographic api's.   • How can I temporarily redirect printf output to a c-string?

    I'm writing an assignment which involves adding some functionality to PostgreSQL on a Solaris box. As part of the assignment, we need to print some information on the client side (i.e.: using elog.) PostgreSQL already has lots of helper methods which print out the required information, however, the helper methods are packed with hundreds of printf calls, and the elog method only works with c-style strings. Is there I way that I could temporarily redirect printf calls to a buffer so I could easily send it over elog to the client? If that's not possible, what would be the simplest way to modify the helper methods to end up with a buffer as output?

    Hi Guys, I recently wrote C programs for image processing of BMP images, I had to read the pixel values and process them, it was very simple I followed the BMP header contents and I could get most of the information of the BMP image. Now the challenge is to process videos (Frame by Frame), how can I do it? How will I be able to read the headers of continuous streams of image frames in a video clip? Or else, is it like, for example, the mpeg format will also have universal header, upon reading which I can get the information about the entire video and after the header, all the data are only pixels. I hope I could convey. Has anyone got experience with processing videos? Any books or links to tutorials will be very helpful. Vikram
