• SSIS - Upgrade from 2005 to 2008 - How to set a project property when I don't have a project

  I have about 160 SSIS packages that I'm trying to upgrade from 2005 to 2008. When I run SSISUpgrade.exe on them, I get the following error messages on many of the packages: Error 0xc0209303: ...: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_OLEDB_NOPROVIDER_64BIT_ERROR. The requested OLE DB provider MICROSOFT.JET.OLEDB.4.0 is not registered -- perhaps no 64-bit provider is available. enter code here`Error code: 0x00000000. An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft OLE DB Service Components" Hresult: 0x80040154 Description: "Class not registered". This fellow says that to fix this I need to set the run64bitruntime debugging property to False. However each of these packages exists outside of a project file. How can I set this property without having a project file?

• How can I prompt for input using Selenium/Webdriver and use the result?

  I would like to allow for user input and make some decisions based on it. If I do this: driver.execute_script("prompt('Enter smth','smth')") I get a nice prompt, but I cannot use it's value. Is there any way of showing an input box to the user, and use the value typed there? • lmerTest package install failing on Ubuntu 12.04

  I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS precise 32-bit and trying to install the lmerTest package for R version 2.14.1... When I try to install from the CRAN repository or R-forge: install.packages("lmerTest") or install.packages("lmerTest", repos="http://R-Forge.R-project.org"), I get the error: Warning in install.packages : package ‘lmerTest’ is not available (for R version 2.14.1) So I downloaded the Package Archive File from CRAN and tried to install from this Package source: lmerTest_2.0-11.tar.gz ,but get the error: "installation of package /home/.../lmerTest_2.0-11.tar.gz’ had non-zero exit status" I had a similar problem when trying to install lme4, and using the advice from lme4 package install failing on Ubuntu 12.04 was able to download the package using "sudo apt-get install r-cran-lme4" after which it appeared in my R package list and installed fine from there. I tried a similar tactic with lmerTest "sudo apt-get install r-cran-lmerTest" but just get "Unable to locate package r-cran-lmerTest", so really don't know what to do now, bearing in mind that I'm a novice with both Ubuntu and R, any suggestions/help would be much appreciated

• C, Cygwin, and compiling drand and srand

  Hello, I have a C code which I am trying to compile in Cygwin and which contains both the drand() and srand() functions. I had Windows Vista with Cygwin installed and the code seemed to comile fine, but my computer broke and I had to get a new one. The new computer has Windows 7 64-bit version. I had a few issues downloading Cygwin but finally managed to do it by only selecting a few packages and then have been trying to get the rest that I need. The problem is I don't have the help I had installing it on my other computer so I don't know which packages I actually need, so I have just been guessing (all the gcc ones) but I mustn't have the one I need for srand and drand to work. If anyone could point me in the right direction, and also possibly just let me know which packages I need to compile C so I can check I have them all that would be great. • stumped by WSGI module import errors

  Hi, I'm writing a bare bones Python wsgi application and am getting stumped by module import errors. I have a .py file in the current directory which initially failed to import. By adding sys.path.insert(0, '/Users/guhar/Sites/acom') the import of the module worked. But I now try and import a module that I had installed via easy_install and it fails to import. I tried setting sys.path.insert(0, '/Library/Python/2.5/site-packages/') which contains the egg file, but to no avail. I would've thought that all packages under "/Library/Python/2.5/site-packages/" would be available to a WSGI application. Does anybody have any pointers?

• Django + WebKit = Broken pipe

  I'm running the Django 1.2 development server and I get these Broken Pipe error messages whenever I load a page from it with Chrome or Safari. My co-worker is getting the error as well when he loads a page from his dev server. We don't have these errors when using Opera or Firefox. • How to import *.pyc file from different version of python?

  Hello, I used python 2.5 and imported a file named "irit.py" from C:\util\Python25\Lib\site-packages directory. This files imports the file "_irit.pyc which is in the same directory. It worked well and did what I wanted. Than, I tried the same thing with python version 2.6.4. "irit.py" which is in C:\util\Python26\Lib\site-packages was imported, but "_irit.pyc" (which is in the same directory of 26, like before) hasn't been found. I got the error message: File "C:\util\Python26\lib\site-packages\irit.py", line 5, in import _irit ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found. • Python `.pth` files and using relative paths

  I have a lot of development versions of packages installed with virtualenv under the default /src directory in the environment. Normally, I decided to do the development of my project under the /src directory afterwards. To add my directory to the Python path, I decided to eschew from using any absolute paths, since I'm going to have to move the project around with my friends. It's a Django application, so I was happy with putting environment.pth under the root that contained the path to my project and a wsgi in the same directory would call the sites module to parse environment.pth. All good. I was also looking to move the .pth file into site-packages, but I'm having trouble with relative paths that move up the directory tree. For: /env /lib /site-pacakges /src /myproject So, the .pth entry in site-packages to myproject should look like ../../src/myproject, but this doesn't seem to be working for me on Windows.

• PyQt4 Need to move DLLs to package root

  Hi Guys, I've used the new installers from http://www.riverbankcomputing.co.uk/software/pyqt/download for Python 2.6 x86_64 and I've a small problem importing PyQt4 in one particular application. Here's the traceback: # ERROR : Traceback (most recent call last): # File "<Script Block >", line 2, in <module> # from PyQt4 import QtCore # ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified procedure could not be found. # - [line 2] This might look familiar. Fun thing is that in a previous version of the 3d software it does work (and from a standard command line), but not in the new software version. I inspected the sys.path (within the app) in order to see if this path was there: C:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4\bin In both application this path is present. Finally managed to make it works by copying the DLLs from C:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4\bin to C:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\PyQt4 Is there any known reason for this? I've a hard time debugging this thing further (making sure everything is 64 bit, path are correct, etc) Thanks for your help

  Attempting to run runsnake gives ImportError: No module named wx Opening an ipython or python session seems to work fine: >>> import wx >>> import sys >>> print [p for p in sys.path if 'wx' in p] ['/usr/local/lib/wxPython-2.9.4.0/lib/python2.7/site-packages', '/usr/local/lib/wxPython-2.9.4.0/lib/python2.7/site-packages/wx-2.9.4-osx_cocoa', '/usr/local/lib/wxPython-2.9.4.0/lib/python2.7/site-packages/wx-2.9.1-osx_cocoa/tools'] as does putting that code in a script and calling python script.py. But putting that code at the beginning of runsnake.py prints an empty list (printing the whole sys.path prints a path quite different from my $PYTHONPATH). Why would it be different, and how to I get it to recognize wxPython?

  I have a multiple module project The first module contains my hibernate xml files and data java beans and packages as har. The second module defines my DAO classes. This module has a dependancy on data java beans with in the har and is defined in pom.xml. <dependency> <groupId>myproject</groupId> <artifactId>myhar</artifactId> <version>1.0</version> <type>har</type> </dependency> The first module compiles, packages and installs fine into my local repository. The problem is when the second modules compiles it has a problem finding the packages and class defined in my har module. I get the following output from running mvn install package myproject.myhar does not exist and build fails.

This article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918760 says: Method 3: Set the SSIS Package ProtectionLevel property to EncryptSensitiveWithPassword Change the SSIS Package ProtectionLevel property to EncryptSensitiveWithPassword. This setting uses a password for encryption. You can then modify the SQL Server Agent job step command line to include this password. That all sounds well and good. But where and how to you specify the password? • Need to include #anchor after querystring list

  Hello, Form is 'get' to a API which operates off of querystring. One of the parameters is a PackageID which indicates a vacation package. In order for the packageID to appear I also need to append '#packages' to the end of the get request. Since not all form 'get' have a package I need this to be dynamic. I've tried adding a hidden field with '#packages' as the value - however the '#' is automatically encoded and therefore not registered when the server grabs the URL. What would be the best way for me to dynamically include '#packages' as it appears in the querystring via javascript? Thanks!

• Why are cookies unrecognized when a link is clicked from an external source (i.e. Excel, Word, etc..

  I noticed that when a link is clicked externally from the web browser, such as from Excel or Word, that my session cookie is initially unrecognized, even if the link opens up in a new tab of the same browser window. The browser ends up recognizing its cookie eventually, but I am puzzled as to why that initial link from Excel or Word doesn't work. To make it even more challenging, clicking a link works fine from Outlook. Does anybody know why this might be happening? I'm using the Zend Framework with PHP 5.3.
