    I have a navigation bar which i push 2 navigationBarIems without animation (animate:NO). I am animating the transition from views, so i don't want those items to animate atomatically. The problem is that when i touch the button from the bar to go to the previous view in the stack, it DOES get animated. How can i change that behaviour?

    I know how to upload images to a server running PHP, but I am stuck on uploading video. I have used this advice to upload my video file. Posting method is all ok. What I get on the server is a file of 0 bytes. My code is below: - (void)imagePickerController:(UIImagePickerController *)picker didFinishPickingMediaWithInfo:(NSDictionary *)info { NSURL *videoURL = [info objectForKey:UIImagePickerControllerMediaURL]; NSData *videoData = [NSData dataWithContentsOfFile:[videoURL path]]; } This videoData is passed in my POST method.     I realise that you can't use in app purchases for real things. But does an in app purchase actually have to give extra functionality in the app. Can it be used to have optional paying? I've made an app that really should be free but I'd like to make a little money even if it's only one 59p. So could I have an in app purchase which users can click to pay if they want to. it might sound stupid but I'm betting there is at least one person who would becase they are nice :)

    Hi, I've heard there are some precautions to take to develop a market in an application. I'm developing an application for a football club. I would like to integrate a kind of market to sell stadium seats. Someone told me Apple will refuse the application if I integrate it directly inside the app (using Obj-C, communicating with PHP pages). According to him, I should redirect the user to an external web page (using Safari app for example) to realize the transaction. Apple does not really communicate about that kind of information. Do you know anything about it ? Thanks for any help !

    The other day, I wrote about how to download and install Java ME SDK plugin for NetBeans. If you are using NetBeans 7.2.1 or later, you don't have to go through the whole process at all. It's now a matter of a few clicks, because all the plugins are now all in NetBeans update server. Here is a new way to install and integrate Java ME SDK plugins for NetBeans. 1. On NetBeans, go to "Tools"- "Plugins". 2. Click on "Available Plugins" tab. Locate "Java ME SDK Tools". 3. Check the tools you want to install, and click "Install" button at the bottom left corner. 4. NetBeans will restart, and that's it! Remember that different Java ME SDK requires different version of Plugins. If you are using Java ME SDK 3.0.5 or earlier, you must install Java ME SDK Tool version 2.0 (works with NetBeans 7.1.2 or earlier) If you are using Java ME SDK 3.2 or later, you must install Java ME SDK Tool version 3.0 (works with NetBeans 7.2 or later)

    Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I would minimize ambient noise while recording someone speaking using the iPhone SDK Core Audio? I'm guessing a band-pass filter that eliminates any frequencies above and below the human vocal range might work. I have no idea how I would implement band filters on audio in the SDK though. The optimum solution would be one that eliminates the noise from the stream before it is written to memory/disk. Some sample code would be appreciated.

    So far Ive managed to download and install the SDK and its in my PATH. Problem now is that I can't run "android update sdk" since it expects to be connected to a display and Im connected to a remote headless server through ssh (its a build server so there's no desktop env). Is there a command-line option for the android tool that tells it to run without X ?
