• RVM can't switch to Ruby 1.9.1

  Wordpress provides a function called "the_permalink()" that returns, you guessed it!, the permalink to a given post while in a loop of posts.   Hi all, I just installed gd2 using mac ports (sudo install gd2), which installed libraries in the following places: /opt/local/include/gd.h /opt/local/lib/libgd.dylib (link) /opt/local/lib/libgd.la /opt/local/lib/libgd.a So when I create my c++ app I add '#include "gd.h"', which throws: main.cpp:4:16: error: gd.h: No such file or directory If I set gd.h as an absolute path (as above)(not a solution, but was curious), I am thrown: g++ -L/opt/local/include -L/opt/local/lib main.o Heatmap_Map.o Heatmap_Point.o -o heatmap Undefined symbols: "_gdImagePng", referenced from: _main in main.o "_gdImageLine", referenced from: _main in main.o "_gdImageColorAllocate", referenced from: _main in main.o _main in main.o "_gdImageDestroy", referenced from: _main in main.o "_gdImageCreate", referenced from: _main in main.o "_gdImageJpeg", referenced from: _main in main.o ld: symbol(s) not found So, I understand this means that ld can not find the libraries it needs (hence trying to give it hints with the "-L" values). So after giving g++ the -L hints and the absolute path in #include, I can get it to work, but I don't think I have to do this, how can I make g++/ld search int eh right places for the libraries? • Symfony 1.4 Layout footer glitch: Footer div is echoed out with $sf_content

  I have a very simple Layout for my application. A header, the main content, and a footer. Semantically, they are rendered like this: <body> <div id = "header"> </div> <div id = "content"> </div> <div id = "footer"> </div> </body> The corresponding CSS is very basic as well: #header{ width:100%; min-height:10%; } #center{ width:100%; min-height:80%; } #footer{ width:100%; min-height:10%: } As you would know in the layout page, here is how the content is rendered: <div id= "content"> <?php echo $sf_content; ?> </div> All of the above is very fine and it renders itself as it is supposed to. But there is a glitch with this, the moment i put in <?php echo $sf_content; ?> the footer is included as part of the content and not as a div that is after the #content markup. Essentially, I get this: <div id = "header"></div> <div id = "content> <div id ="symfony_template_to_be_rendered"> <!-- all web application related content like forms etc. --> </div> <div id = "footer">Footer material </div> </div> As you can see, for some weird reason, the footer moved up along with the symfony content. Clearly this is a glitch because if I remove the php hash $sf_content part from the div tags in my layouts, then the footer renders itself as and where it should be and everything takes up the required dimensions. What's going on here?

• How to get SVN to ignore a directory inside an externals definition

  I'm using subversion to host my own repository for a WordPress installation. I've got it set up so that all of the core WordPress files are in their own directory (called wordpress) and set up to use svn:externals to link to the WordPress repository. I then have my own copy of the wp-content directory (located outside of the wordpress directory) which does not use svn:externals. This is all working fine. When I update my repository, the WordPress core gets updated. Since the WordPress repository contains it's own wp-content directory, it also updates that directory. So my file structure ends up looking something like this: / --/wordpress/ (wordpress repo) -----/wp-admin/ -----/wp-content/ --/wp-content/ (my local repo) I end up having two separate versions of the wp-content folder (one from my repo and one from the WordPress repo). I don't want the one from the WordPress repo (or at least not in that location). Is there a way for me to set svn to ignore the wordpress/wp-content directory while still using externals definition?

  Hi I want to bind a lists position to its own height in XAML. So its lower left corner always will be at 0.0 of the canvas. I'm using elementBinding to get the ActualHeight and a converter to invert the property. But the height sent to the converter is 0. • Problem creating PostGIS template database

  I am trying to build a template geographic database for PostGIS (1.5) on Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) for my GeoDjango application. I am following: http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/contrib/gis/install/#creating-a-spatial-database-template-for-postgis I've managed to come up to the point where the provided postgis.sql should be run (i.e. psql -d template_postgis -f $POSTGIS_SQL_PATH/postgis.sql) At that point I am getting an error at the first SQL statement that is tried to be run.   Hi, I have and old content database which i restored in my sharepoint 2007. But whenver i try to access web sites in my sharepoint i get error : 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR. I can see the old content database at :- Sharepoint Centre Admin-Application Management-Content databases. There is no difference in the version of the old content database. Something like layout.html?content=main or layout.html?content=edit will display page with content replaced with main.html or edit.html. The goal is to avoid duplicating code, even for layout, and to compose pages without server-side templating. What approach would you suggest? EDIT: I don't need a full templating library, just a way to compose a pages, similar for what tiles do.

  Full calendar have no included options to work-time feature (selecting first and last rows in agenda view for any day - where in example company is not working).   I am using Apache 2.2 and mod_rewrite. I would like to take the following urls and map them to another url. The pattern is simple and like this: http://domain/test/ex1.html - http://domain/app/index.php/content/?name=ex1 I tried the following in an .htaccess file: RewriteEngine On RewriteBase /app/ RewriteRule (.*)\.html index.php/content/?name=$1 and RewriteEngine On RewriteRule (.*)\.html /app/index.php/content/?name=$1 I wasn't sure if the backreference was correct so set to $0 and $2 but never seemed to help. I also tried setting the RewriteLogLevel to 9. There is a step where it is almost there: rewrite 'ex1.html' - 'index.php/content/?name=ex1' The last line of the rewrite log is as follows: [perdir /var/www/domain/htdocs/test/] internal redirect with /app/index.php/content/ [INTERNAL REDIRECT] How can I get this to rewrite to /app/index.php/content/?name=ex1 ? thanks

  my query: SELECT content.*, activity_log.content_id FROM content LEFT JOIN activity_log ON content.id = activity_log.content_id AND sess_id = '$sess_id' WHERE activity_log.content_id IS NULL AND visibility = $visibility AND content.reported < ".REPORTED_LIMIT." AND content.file_ready = 1 LIMIT 1 The purpose of that query is to get 1 row from the content table that has not been viewed by the user (identified by session_id), but it still returns contents that have been viewed. What is wrong? ( I have checked the table making sure that the content_ids are there) Note: I think this is more efficient than using subqueries, thoughts?
