  • Combine two content encodings sections in a single page

    I developed a web application that allows users to modify existing web pages. When a user type a url of an existing web page, I read the content of this page and using an ajax call, i display the content in a div inside my web application. Now my problem is that often the content encoding of the existing web page is different than my web app (I use utf-8) Is there a way to load content using an ajax call with different content encoding than the one of the main page?     So I'm having problems when I try to publish the website. I'm in visual studio 2008 sp1. I've got a bunch of user controls and on a few pages I'm using them programatically. I've got a reference on the aspx page <%@ Reference Control="~/UserControls/Foo.ascx" % Then on the code behing I use ASP.usercontrols_foo newFoo control = (ASP.usercontrols_foo)Page.LoadControl("~/UserControls/Foo.ascx"); If I navigate to the page it works fine, but when I goto publish the website I get a compile time error.

  • How to read integer in Erlang?

    I'm trying to read user input of integer. (like cin nInput; in C++) I found io:fread bif from http://www.erlang.org/doc/man/io.html, so I write code like this. {ok, X} = io:fread("input : ", "~d"), io:format("~p~n", [X]). but when I input 10, the erlang terminal keep giving me "\n" not 10. I assume fread automatically read 10 and conert this into string. How can I read integer value directly? Is there any way to do this? Thank you for reading this.

The question came up wondering if we could set what roles are required for each page in java instead of the ApplicationContext.xml.   • Non-interactive command-line FTP client alternative to weex

    Hi, I'm looking for a good non-interactive, command line FTP client to be run from a Rakefile. Like Weex, but better. Weex has different problems (for me): It stores its config file in my home dir. I want the FTP config to be part of my project and weex doesn't have a --config-file option or something. The behavior of ignoring files seems to be completely buggy. It doesn't remove files which it should, it doesn't let me specify relative paths, even though I do it according to the man page's instructions, etc. I've been struggling with it for an hour now and it is just completely inexplicable. I tried running rsync over FTPFS/FUSE, but that is dead slow because FTP doesn't store mtimes, which makes rsync diff every file. Plus, there are some refresh problems and other bugs that cause access failure (http://bugs.gentoo.org/208168). I'm stuck with FTP, unfortunately. Any help is appreciated.

Up until now I have been programming this locally, now I need to publish the program onto the website; the issue is that FileStream can only access local files with elevated permissions.     Hi, I can't seem to find my problem with this really simple .htaccess file: Options -Indexes Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteBase /d/ #drupal style url rewriting RewriteRule ^([^.]*)$ index.php?path=$1 [L] It works as intended for everything except the root url with no slash. So it rewrites and passes the hidden get querystring to my pages for localhost/d/x/y/z as ?path=x/y/z and localhost/d/ as ?path= (blank) but... localhost/d works, but now appears in the address bar as this ugly monster: http://localhost/d/?path=/Users/audiozoom/Documents/webroot/d What could be the problem?
