  • How to enable iPhone auto lock during MPMoviePlayer playback?

    When I play a video with MPMoviePlayerController in my app my iPhone does not auto lock (tested OS 3.0 & 3.1.2). However, the application.idleTimerDisabled = NO, so this setting is not affected by MPMoviePlayerController. How can I get my iPhone to sleep normally (e.g. after 3 min screen dims, then goes dark) when my app is running and playing a video?

I'm trying to create a "simple" program that allows me to create a list of video files (Youtube video's to be precise) that are then run through by my program and converted any given format to pure MP3 audio. For this purpose I'm trying to use the BASS.dll and well it isn't going so well. I was wondering if anyone has used BASS to convert from one audio format to another? Or is there another library better suited for this?

    Hi, i'm using loadmovie() to load a youtube video player inside my flash website but i want to specify the width and height so it can fit my box. This is my code: vloader.loadMovie("http://www.youtube.com/v/Alw5hs0chj0&hl=fr&fs=1hJ-mPcGtC"); I have an empty CLIP called "vloader" where i load the video player.     hi, I'm using a lightbox on a page of my website to display my nodes. I'm using some plugins such as an external simpletooltips plugin and the drupal plugin jQuery Media (to load flash video player for some video file-fields). All this stuff stop to work for the content of the lightbox, I guess because the content is not parsed... how can I solve this ? Should I trigger the plugins again ? Thanks

    I'm getting twice the frame rate with the earlier Java 6 u 3, than with the new ones. Very weird. Can anyone give some explanation? On Core 2 Duo 1.83ghz, integrated video (only one core is used) - 1500 (older java) vs 700 fps On Athlon 64 3500+, discrete video - 120 (older java) vs 55 fps The app is a simple game with a moving rectangle. I'm using Graphics2D to draw from a loop.

    I've managed to plug away through the YouTube documentation, and have managed to successfully implement the majority of what I want to work. My question is, I get the video View count and it comes back lower than the actual video on YouTube. It was fine this morning and both showed correctly, but now my version is out by 4 views. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or can tell me if they update the values every 5/10/15/24 hours?

    My CMS system allow people to post some swf on the homepage, however, sometime there is video which is included in swf, not two files swf+flv. When the swf video load, it near used up the bandwidth and so the page seems not response for a while ... Can I use jQuery to control all the swf in a page that they load after the others done or maybe just load it after 3s or what? Thanks!!
