  Hi, I have a web application that I'm working on(ASP.NET2.0 with C#)[Using VS2005]. Everything was working fine, and all of a sudden I get the error: Error 1 The name 'Label1' does not exist in the current context and 43 others of the sort for each time that I used a control in my codebehind of the page. This is only happening for 1 page. And it's as if the codebehind isn't recognizing the controls. Another interesting thing is that the intellisense isn't picking up any of the controls either.. I have tried to clean the solution file, delete the obj file, exclude the files from the project then re-add them, close VS and restart it, and even restart my computer, but none of these have worked. Please Help. Thank you

• jQuery Resizable() UI Problem

  In general, resizable() works fine. Here is where I am getting into an issue. I have a div that contains some resizable items that work fine (resizable() applied to them at some point). user can save items for later view (the innerHTML of the div gets saved into a JavaScript array, then div gets cleared so they can do something else) When items get placed back onto div (from array) -- I do a $('#divname').append(arrayname[i]); -- items are no longer resizable (although visually they have the resizable classes/handle on them) Here is what I have tried so far (none of which have worked): After append() line, I re-initialize the resizable -- $('#items').resizable(); After append() line, remove then re-add resizable -- $('#items').resizable('destroy').resizable(); Any help is appreciated - thanks.

• Refresh page isnt working in asp.net using treeview

  Hi, I am trying to refresh an asp.net page using this command: <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="10"/> On that page I have 2 treeviews. The refresh works ok when I just open the page, but when I click on one of the treeviews and expand it, the refresh stopps working and the page isnt being refreshed. Any ideas why this can happen? Is there any connection to the treeview being expanded?   I have the following MySQL table structure: num field company phone website 1 Gas abcd 123456789 abcd.com 2 Water efgh 987654321 efgh.com 3 Water ijkl 321654987 ijkl.com 4 Heat mnop 987654321 mnop.com 5 Gas qrst 123789654 qrst.com ... Is it possible with PHP (maybe using some mixture of GROUP_BY and ORDER_BY) to echo the data to the screen in the following format: Gas: abcd qrst 123456789 123789654 abcd.com qrst.com Water: efgh ijkl 987654321 321654987 efgh.com ijkl.com Heat: mnop 321654987 mnop.com The exact format of it isn't important. I just need for the different rows of data to be listed under the appropriate field with none of the fields repeated. I've been trying to figure this out for a while now, but I'm new to PHP and I can't seem to figure out how to do this, if it's even possible, or if there's a better way to organize my data to make it easier.

• How do I properly load the jQuery fullcalendar plugin in a hidden div

  I'm using the jQuery tools tabs to divide my page into tabs. One of those tabs contain a jQuery Fullcalendar. Because I load JavaScript last in the page for speed and to avoid flash of unstyled content, I hide the initially unseen tabs using display:none. When doing this, the fullcalendar doesn't render properly. It shows the proper buttons, but until I press the today-button, no calendar is shown. If I allow it to render into a visible div, it displays properly. I can work around this using the tab-select events to render the calendar or by moving the calendar and tab scripts to the head, but I'd rather if there was a more proper solution.

  I have a page with the following two divs: <div id="searchResults"> </div> <div class="postSearchOptions" style="display: none;"> </div> Is there any way that I can make the "postSearchOptions" div appear when the "searchResults" div is updated by an AJAX call? I don't control the AJAX calls and I want to detect any change in the "searchResults" div. I tried writing the following JQuery code, but then realized that it requires Jquery 1.4 and I only have 1.3: $("#searchResults").live("change", function() { $(".postSearchOptions").css("display", "inline"); }); Is there any way to catch the event of the searchResults div changing using either standard JavaScript or Jquery 1.3?   What is the easiest way to create a delay (or parking) queue with Python, Pika and RabbitMQ? I have seen an similar questions, but none for Python. I find this an useful idea when designing applications, as it allows us to throttle messages that needs to be re-queued again. There are always the possibility that you will receive more messages than you can handle, maybe the HTTP server is slow, or the database is under too much stress. I also found it very useful when something went wrong in scenarios where there is a zero tolerance to losing messages, and while re-queuing messages that could not be handled may solve that. It can also cause problems where the message will be queued over and over again. Potentially causing performance issues, and log spam.

I want to run apache on sever A to do name based vhost that connects to many tomcat servers. I can run mod_proxy_ajp, only if apache and tomcat are on the same server. • Ruby open-uri open method loses file extension opening images

  I'm using ruby 1.9.2 along with Rails 3.1.4 and Paperclip 2.4.5. My issue is trying to save a paperclip attachment from a URI loses the file extension and saves the file without one resulting in issues with things like fancybox that require an extension. Some example code: uri = "http://featherfiles.aviary.com/2012-06-13/bbe5f0de1/0c5a672b88ea47ecb4631ac173e27430.png" open(uri) #=> #<File:/var/folders/zc/d69gxhzx10x_bvjrkqgyjgxr0000gn/T/open-uri20120613-27204-i6cldv> Because there is no extension on the temp file paperclip is saving the file without one resulting in issues. Has anyone run into this issue? I've seen multiple answers about using paperclip to store images from a URI but none seem to address the same problem we're running

• SQL latest/top items in category

  What is a scalable way to select latest 10 items from each category. I have a schema list this: item category updated so I want to select 10 last update items from each category. The current solution I can come up with is to query for categories first and then issue some sort of union query: query = none for cat in categories: query += select top 10 from table where category=cat order by updated I am not sure how efficient this will be for bigger databases (1 million rows). If there is a way to do this in one go - that would be nice. Any help appreciated.

• Why am I unable to Debug my ASP.NET website in Visual Studio?

  I used to be able to attach to my w3wp process and Debug my web application, but this is not working anymore. I have no idea what changed to break this. My breakpoints simply have the "breakpoint will currently not be hit. The source code is different from the original version." What I have tried: Did a solution Clean. Did a solution Rebuild. Deleted the bin folder Restarted Visual Studio Restarted IIS Restarted my Computer Added a simple Response.Write to ensure that the latest DLL is being used. It is. Made sure that Debug ASP.NET is checked in my project properties. It is. Made sure that all my projects are compiled in my build configuration. They are. But none of these help. I attach to w3wp, but my breakpoints never get hit. Any ideas?

I cant use import file2.py in file1.py,because in file2.py the only one method name (Generate) is fix (its taken as requirement). So apart from Genarate method user can define any method and can call this in generate method, because this approach is not working so i have to write whole code into generate method only and code is also repetitive. Any help is really appreciable...

  Hello, This has been bothering me for awhile, can some one show me how to ping a counter strike server. I just want to ping the server and see if it is online, thats all. I found many small snippets online that were using fsock and UDP to do this but none of them actually did the job i wanted it to do. Most of the ones i found were showing offline servers as online.   I want a lite-weight C++ XML parser/DOM that: Can take UTF-8 as input, and parse into UTF-16. Maybe it does this directly (ideal!), or perhaps it provides a hook for the conversion (such as taking a custom stream object that does the conversion before parsing). Offers some XPath support. I've been looking at RapidXML, the Kranf xmlParser, and pugiXML. The first two of those might permit requirement #1 by way of a hook. The third, pugiXML, supports the #2 requirement. But none of those three fulfill both requirements. What is the smallest (free) library that can handle both requirements?

• C#: standard Windows menu bars in Windows Forms

  I noticed that adding a MenuStrip (from the VS Toolbox) to my form design doesn't yield a menu bar like many native Windows applications. Instead I get a menu bar like VS's own. None of the style settings for MenuStrip appear to mimic the much more common native menu bar. Is there a way to add a menu bar to my Windows Forms application that looks the same as the one you see in Notepad, Task Manager, Windows Explorer and others? (Preferably with the designer, but I wouldn't mind adding it programmatically either.)

• Seam page navigation with includes

  Hello, I'm using seam page navigation rules. and did not experience any problem with adding rules which redirect from one page to another. But since I designed my page views using those redirection simply don't happen anymore for those pages. Tried to define the rule to the view that gets included, then to the view that includes the others (which to me was making more sense) but none work. Is there anything special about page navigation in seam using included view-id ? I'm using jsf, xhtml as my page views. Thanks

  Hi All, I'm currently working with CKEditor (http://ckeditor.com/). I'm looking for: 1) an exhaustive list of commands available by default via 'execCommand'. 2) a mechanism by which to set styles (as in the same way the FONT and SIZE combo boxes do it). I saw the function called 'setStyle' in the documentation, however it seems to require an exact element. I can't for the life of me figure out how to do so based on the selection -- there is no way to use ID or CLASS, as the selected portions have none. I've posted to the forums but they don't seem to be terribly active as far as replies are concerned. Any assistance would be most appreciated. Best.

• Can Visual Studio 2010 do ".inc" file syntax highlighting?

  Can Visual Studio 2010 be configured to do syntax highlighting on ".inc" files? We have numerous large projects with tons of these ".inc" files (asp files) and so changing the file extension to ".asp" is not an option. All I want Visual Studio 2010 to do is treat these ".inc" files just like ".asp" files when it comes to syntax highlighting. I've tried "Open With..." and selected the HTML Editor, which is the ".asp" default, but that did not work. I tried about every other editor in the list and none of them worked. I know Notepad++ (among others) can do this, but I would prefer this be done in Visual Studio 2010 - using another IDE or text editor is not the answer I'm looking for here. Many many thanks to anyone who knows how to configure VS 2010 to do this, I've wasted soooo much time looking for a way to do this. Even registry hacks are welcome. • Windows 7 Seems to break SWT Control.print(GC)

  A bug has been filed and fixed (super quickly) in SWT: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=305294 Just to preface this, my goal here is to print the two images into a canvas so that I can animate the canvas sliding across the screen (think iPhone), sliding the controls themselves was too CPU intensive, so this was a good alternative until I tested it on Win7. I'm open to anything that will help me solve my original problem, it doesn't have to be fixing the problem below. Does anyone know how to get "Control.print(GC)" to work with Windows 7 Aero? I have code that works just fine in Windows XP and in Windows 7, when Aero is disabled, but the command: control.print(GC) causes a non-top control to be effectively erased from the screen. GC gc = new GC(image); try { // As soon as this code is called, calling "layout" on the controls // causes them to disappear. control.print(gc); } finally { gc.dispose(); } I have stacked controls and would like to print the images from the current and next controls such that I can "slide" them off the screen. However, upon printing the non-top control, it is never redrawn again. Here is some example code. (Interesting code bits are at the top and it will require pointing at SWT in order to work.)
