• Debug in Eclipse - ClassNotFoundException

  Hi all, when i debug in Eclipse a simple console application, I get a lot of ClassNotFoundException lines in the debug Window. It is not an error, somewhat lower in another pane I get "Source not found.". I understand that it is because the source code of the required class is not available, buI would like to skip over these lines... I have to press a lot of times the "step over" or "step out" button to get out of these states. What can I do in order to avoid these useless lines at all? Thanks

• ASCII in Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux

  I've made a program in MVSC++ which outputs memory contents (in ASCII). The ASCII I see in windows console seem to match what I see in various ASCII tables (smiley, diamond, club, right arrow etc). This program needs to compile under Linux (which is does), but the ASCII output looks completely different. A few symbols are the same but the rest are so different. Is there any way to change how terminal displays ASCII code? EDIT: The program executes correctly, it's just the ASCII that is being displayed differently.

• Prototype Ajax.Updater Response OK, but not showing up in FF. working in Safari!

  Hi, I've got a quite strange problem here. I'm calling some simple code via Ajax.Updater: new Ajax.Updater('load','http://myurl.com/demo.pl?key=demokey&param1=xyz&param2=abc',{ method:'get', onComplete:function(transport){ alert(transport.responseText) } }); which gets some code like this: <img id="2009_04_15_1239786246" src='../pv/100/2009_04_15_1239786246-01.jpg' border="1"> <img id="2009_04_15_1239786066" src='../pv/100/2009_04_15_1239786066-01.jpg' border="1"> ... and so on This code shows up in my firebug console as my server response, so everything should be fine. No errors here at all. Works fine in Safari. Firefox, according to Firebug, knows there is a response, but it won't show a thing in my div 'load' and the alert(transport.responseText) is also empty. I have no idea what could be the problem here.

  Hey all, I have written a code in C# - XML which checks whether a value is there or not in a given XML document and prints the value and the particular tag associated with the value. When we enter the Value of the Inner Text it will look for the value in the document and find it. I dont understand what exception to catch when the entered value is not there in the document.   I'm new to Django. I think I'm making a simple mistake. I launched the dev server with Pydev: RClick on project Django Custom command runserver The server came up, and everything was great. But now I'm trying to stop it, and can't figure out how. I stopped the process in the PyDev console, and closed Eclipse, but web pages are still being served from http://127.0.0.1:8000. I launched and quit the server from the command line normally: python manage.py runserver But the server is still up. What am I doing wrong here?

  Hi, I have a command line C++ program that lets you enter basic information about a person (ID number, name, age, etc.) and I want to output to a console in the following manner: ------------------------------------------------------------------- Index ID # First Name Last Name Age ------------------------------------------------------------------- 0 1234 John Smith 25 The person objects are stored in an array of Persons and I've overload the ostream (<<) operator to print out all of the fields like you see. The dashed lines and header come from a displayHdg() function. Anyhow, I have not been able to figure out how to get the proper index value for the array. Ideally, I'd like to generate the indices for each line, but all my attempts have failed. The array is looped through and each object printed in the main() function, and the ostream is overloaded in a person class, so I tried to use global variables as well as static variables, and all of those produce incorrect numbering (i.e. show 0, 1 the first time (for 2 objects), then change to 1, 2 on the next display). Any ideas?

• Using a ICollection Value in sqlite SELECT parameterized statment

  Im trying to get all the entrys from a sqlite Database which have the same name as the keys in a Hashtable. My Statement looks like this. // the keys from the hashtable are names equivalent // to name entrys in the SomeTable Names Collumn Hashtable names; String query = "SELECT Id, Name FROM SomeTable WHERE Name LIKE (@Names)"; SQLiteCommand command = new SQLiteCommand(query, _databaseConnection); command.Parameters.AddWithValue("@Names", names.Keys); SQLiteDataReader reader = reader.ExecuteReader(); while(reader.Read()) { Console.WriteLine("Name: {0}, ID: {1}", reader[1].ToString(), reader[0].ToString()); } Im totally sure there are similar values in the Database, but i get nothing back and the reader does not execute. Is it impossible to add a ICollection as a Parameter Value so i need to start the reader only one time?

• App crashes when adding array data to table cells

  I am trying to create a table view that loads a number of tweets into the table (one per cell etc). I am using NSXMLParser to get the information and have got as far as creating an array with the selection of tweets that I want. However, when I try to add them to the table cells, the app crashes on the line: cell.textLabel.text = cellValue; An NSLog before this shows in the console that the app is getting the correct data, so I am a bit stumped as to why this isn't working. • Simple XML parsing with Google Picasa API and JQuery

  I'm starting to look into Google's Picasa API for photo data, which provides you with a big XML file with info about albums and photos. I'm doing some quick and dirty tests to parse the XML file (which is saved locally to my hard drive for now) with JQuery and pull out the album id's, which are stored as "gphoto:id" tags, and display them in a div: $(document).ready(function() { $.get( 'albums.xml', function(data) { $(data).find('entry').each(function() { var albumId = $(this).children('gphoto:id').text(); $('#photos').append(albumId + '<br />'); }) }) }) I'm getting the following error in the console: jquery.js:3321 - Uncaught Syntax error, unrecognized expression: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: id This will work with other tags in the XML file (such as title, author, updated, etc.), but I'm trying to understand what's going on here. Does it have to do with the colon in "gphoto:id", somehow?

• Geolocation Null in lat and long

  I have had issue today in one application where Geolocation is not working. Even on this page http://slaveryfootprint.org/survey/#where_do_you_live . When you enter a location , its showing null lattiude and longitude. Even though it search for autolocation, it can point the right location. and it happened all if a sudden today which was working fine since yestrday night and when I see in console it is returning null lat and long and null for city and I did not change the code at all. Did google map api changed something. or do I need to update jquery? http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?v=3.4&sensor=false
