    Hi all , I urgently need your help . I am new to consuming a web service using SOAP protocol. I have been given a demo webservice URL which ends in .WSDL and NOT .asml?WSDL. The problem is I cannot add a web reference using Visual studio OR Disco.exe or Wsdl.exe - This webservice has been created on a java platform and for security reasons the only way to make a invoke the webservice is at runtime using SOAP protocol IN asp.net (VB). I I have created some code but cannot seem to send the soap object to the receiving web service. If I could get a solution with step by step instructions on how I can send a SOAP REQUEST.   • Not able to show video with html5

    I am testing html 5 video tag. I am using http://www.kaltura.org/project/HTML5_Video_Media_JavaScript_Library and http://camendesign.co.uk/. I downloaded the creative common video. When I use an external link, it plays the video. So I uploaded the video to my server but it does not play. It asks if I want to save it or asking an application to play. When I go to the external link, http://cdn.kaltura.org/apis/html5lib/kplayer-examples/media/bbb400p.ogv, it plays it on the browser automatically. I also tested locally, but it does not play either. I am hoping someone gives me why and how to solve the problem.   • LDAP, Active Directory and bears, oh my!

    What I have: Workstations running Ubuntu Jaunty mounting /home on a remote NFS server. User accounts are still created locally on each individual workstation. Workstations running Windows XP / Vista NFS server (as noted above) Windows 2008 server All machines share a single private network (LAN). What I need to accomplish: A single, intuitive (GUI driven) place for an office administrator to create user accounts. This should let anyone login to their (linux or windows) workstation, then fire up remote desktop and use the same login to the Windows 2008 server, from any machine on the network. I have read so much on samba, LDAP vs AD, etc and now I'm even more confused than I was before I began researching the problem. Ideally, Linux and Windows users should be able to get to their local files once logged into the Win2008 server. I am a programmer, not an interoperability guru and I'm completely lost on where to even start trying to accomplish this, plus I've run out of things to Google. How would you do this? Is it even possible?

    I'm in a position where I need to give about a dozen people one shot FTP access to a domain in order to upload their work. I'd like to use single shot passwords, e.g once they login and upload, that's it. Single use. I don't see any obvious means of doing this conveniently with C-Panel. Prior to going through the bother of writing a WHM add on to accomplish the same, I'd like to make sure that I'm not re-inventing the wheel. Thanks in advance.

    I'm using ASIHttpRequests and an ASINetworkQueue in an iphone app to retrieve some 100k XML files and a lot of thumbnails from a web service. I'd like to cache the requests in the style of NSURLCache. ASI doesn't seem to support caching as is, and I looked at the code and it drops to C to create the requests, so inserting the NSURLCache layer seemed tricky. What's the best way to implement this?

    I have a page that creates an associative array, then passes it as a hidden value to a new PHP page. I have a foreach loop waiting to iterate through it but it coughs up an "invalid argument" error, as if the page doesn't know the value it's working with is an array (Despite "print" showing simply "Array"). This is essentially what I have: //Hidden input to be passed to the next page print "<input type=\"hidden\" name=\"price_list\" value=\"$item_list\"> //Code on the second page for the foreach loop extract($_POST); foreach($price_list as $name=>$price) { ... } But I am simply given "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/cut/mg299/public_html/PHP/invoice.php on line 17". The array works fine, as I can iterate on the previous page, and other values are parsed fine to this second page. Do I need to 'reinitialise' this array value?

I want to host near to my WCF services my own tcp programm (like WCF service but with out WCF) for direct sockets operations (like lien to some sort of broadcasting TCP stream) I want to use ServiceHost for somehow simplyfiing proces of creating my TCP sender\listener, to somehow control namespaces (so I would be able to let my clients to send TCP streams directly into my service using some nice URLs like www.example.com:34123/myserver/stream?id=1 or www.example.com:34123/myserver/stream?id=222 and so that I will not be bothered with Idea of 1 client for 1 socket at one time moment, BTW I realy want to keep my WCF services on the same port as my own server or what it is...) Can any body please help me with this?

    looks as if it's working now, i'm not doing anything... stange... I want to write http://www.1024jobs.net/jobs/view/17.jhtml to http://www.1024jobs.com/jobs/view/17.jhtml so i have tried either of below rules in .htaccess RewriteRule ^jobs/view/([0-9]+)\.jhtml$ http://www.1024jobs.com/jobs/view/$1.jhtml [L,R=301] RewriteRule ^jobs/view/([^.]+).jhtml$ http://www.1024jobs.com/jobs/view/$1.jhtml [L,R=301] but it's always translating to below url http://www.1024jobs.net/jobs/view/17.jhtml to http://www.1024jobs.com/jobs/view/.jhtml however, just found below is translated correctly.... http://www.1024jobs.net/jobs/view/16.jhtml can anyone help and explain? thx
