  • Android sending SOAP object over Https via ksoap2 2.5.8

    - by Jack-V
    My first time posting a question here so please do not mind my mistakes here. I'm currently making an android application fetching and sending information from a .asmx web service. Everything goes well with the ksoap2 library and am using HttpTransportSE to call the web service. So now what I'm trying to do is to use the HttpsTransportSE to call the web service over Https. I got java.security.cert.certpathvalidatorexception trustanchor for certpath not found exception. I have the server certificate in .pfx , .jks and .bks format. My questions is what do i do with it to make my HttpsTransportSE call to be success? I've read around with articles using custom SSLSocketFactory but am still not sure how to implement it in my application. Thanks in advance for any suggestion/advices

  • how to create a auto-incremented attribute in xcode managed object model

    - by Mausimo
    Hey, what i want to do is to make a int that will be the ID of the entity and auto increment itself whenever a new entity is added (just like a SQL identity property). Is this possible? i tried using indexed (checked on attribute) however there is no description to what indexed even does. EDIT: I am adding annotations to a map, when you click the pin the annotationview with a chevron shows up. Now when you click this button i would like to load an associated picture. However the only way i know how to link the picture to this button is to give the picture a unique id, and then set the button.tag to this id and then load based on the button.tag.

  • Getting JSON object from php authentication objective c

    - by iError
    I am trying to authenticate using the below code NSString *urlAsString =[NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://www.myurl.com/abc/authenticate.php"]; NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:urlAsString]; NSMutableURLRequest *urlRequest = [NSMutableURLRequest requestWithURL:url]; [urlRequest setTimeoutInterval:30.0f]; [urlRequest setHTTPMethod:@"POST"]; [urlRequest addValue:@"test" forHTTPHeaderField:@"m_username" ]; [urlRequest addValue:@"123" forHTTPHeaderField:@"m_password" ]; [[NSURLConnection alloc] initWithRequest:urlRequest delegate:self]; NSOperationQueue *queue = [[NSOperationQueue alloc] init]; [NSURLConnection sendAsynchronousRequest:urlRequest queue:queue completionHandler:^(NSURLResponse *response,NSData *data, NSError *error) { if ([data length] >0 && error == nil){ html = [[NSString alloc] initWithData:data encoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]; NSLog(@"HTML = %@", html); receivedData = [NSMutableData data]; } else if ([data length] == 0 && error == nil){ NSLog(@"Nothing was downloaded."); } else if (error != nil){ NSLog(@"Error happened = %@", error); } }]; // Start loading data NSURLConnection *theConnection = [[NSURLConnection alloc] initWithRequest:urlRequest delegate:self]; if (theConnection) { // Create the NSMutableData to hold the received data receivedData = [NSMutableData data]; } else { // Inform the user the connection failed. } My username password is correct, I think I am not making the proper call thats why I dont get the desired results and the web service is receiving the null parameters. What can be the issue? Any help appreciated.

  • Python check if object is in list of objects

    - by John
    Hi, I have a list of objects in Python. I then have another list of objects. I want to go through the first list and see if any items appear in the second list. I thought I could simply do for item1 in list1: for item2 in list2: if item1 == item2: print "item %s in both lists" However this does not seem to work. Although if I do: if item1.title == item2.title: it works okay. I have more attributes than this though so don't really want to do 1 big if statement comparing all the attributes if I don't have to. Can anyone give me help or advise on what I can do to find the objects which appear in both lists. Thanks

  • Java GC: top object classes promoted (by size)?

    - by Java Geek
    Hello! Please let me know what is the best way to determine composition of young generation memory promoted to old generation, after each young GC event? Ideally I would like to know class names which are responsible say, for 80% of heap in each "young gen - old gen" promotion chunk; Example: I have 600M young gen, each tenure promotes 6M; I want to know which objects compose this 6M. Thank you.

    When person 1 become partner with person 3, person 2 should no longer have person 1 as partner. • Drawing using Dynamic Array and Buffer Object

    - by user1905910
    I have a problem when creating the vertex array and the indices array. I don't know what really is the problem with the code, but I guess is something with the type of the arrays, can someone please give me a light on this? #define GL_GLEXT_PROTOTYPES #include<GL/glut.h> #include<iostream> using namespace std; #define BUFFER_OFFSET(offset) ((GLfloat*) NULL + offset) const GLuint numDiv = 2; const GLuint numVerts = 9; GLuint VAO; void display(void) { enum vertex {VERTICES, INDICES, NUM_BUFFERS}; GLuint * buffers = new GLuint[NUM_BUFFERS]; GLfloat (*squareVerts)[2] = new GLfloat[numVerts][2]; GLubyte * indices = new GLubyte[numDiv*numDiv*4]; GLuint delta = 80/numDiv; for(GLuint i = 0; i < numVerts; i++) { squareVerts[i][1] = (i/(numDiv+1))*delta; squareVerts[i][0] = (i%(numDiv+1))*delta; } for(GLuint i=0; i < numDiv; i++){ for(GLuint j=0; j < numDiv; j++){ //cada iteracao gera 4 pontos #define NUM_VERT(ii,jj) ((ii)*(numDiv+1)+(jj)) #define INDICE(ii,jj) (4*((ii)*numDiv+(jj))) indices[INDICE(i,j)] = NUM_VERT(i,j); indices[INDICE(i,j)+1] = NUM_VERT(i,j+1); indices[INDICE(i,j)+2] = NUM_VERT(i+1,j+1); indices[INDICE(i,j)+3] = NUM_VERT(i+1,j); } } glGenVertexArrays(1, &VAO); glBindVertexArray(VAO); glGenBuffers(NUM_BUFFERS, buffers); glBindBuffer(GL_ARRAY_BUFFER, buffers[VERTICES]); glBufferData(GL_ARRAY_BUFFER, sizeof(squareVerts), squareVerts, GL_STATIC_DRAW); glVertexPointer(2, GL_FLOAT, 0, BUFFER_OFFSET(0)); glEnableClientState(GL_VERTEX_ARRAY); glBindBuffer(GL_ELEMENT_ARRAY_BUFFER, buffers[INDICES]); glBufferData(GL_ELEMENT_ARRAY_BUFFER, sizeof(indices), indices, GL_STATIC_DRAW); glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT); glColor3f(1.0,1.0,1.0); glDrawElements(GL_POINTS, 16, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, BUFFER_OFFSET(0)); glutSwapBuffers(); } void init() { glClearColor(0.0, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0); gluOrtho2D((GLdouble) -1.0, (GLdouble) 90.0, (GLdouble) -1.0, (GLdouble) 90.0); } int main(int argv, char** argc) { glutInit(&argv, argc); glutInitDisplayMode(GLUT_RGB | GLUT_DOUBLE); glutInitWindowSize(500,500); glutInitWindowPosition(100,100); glutCreateWindow("myCode.cpp"); init(); glutDisplayFunc(display); glutMainLoop(); return 0; } Edit: The problem here is that drawing don't work at all. But I don't get any error, this just don't display what I want to display. Even if I put the code that make the vertices and put them in the buffers in a diferent function, this don't work. I just tried to do this: void display(void) { glBindVertexArray(VAO); glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT); glColor3f(1.0,1.0,1.0); glDrawElements(GL_POINTS, 16, GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE, BUFFER_OFFSET(0)); glutSwapBuffers(); } and I placed the rest of the code in display in another function that is called on the start of the program. But the problem still

  • C# WCF and Object Inheritence

    - by Michael Edwards
    I have the following setup of two classes: [SerializableAttribute] public class ParentData{ [DataMember] public string Title{get;set;} } [DataContract] public class ChildData : ParentData{ [DataMember] public string Abstract{get;set;} } These two classes are served through a WCF service. However I only want the service to expose the ChildData class to the end user but pull the marked up DataMember properties from the parent. E.g. The consuming client would have a stub class that looked like: public class ChildData{ public string Title{get;set;} public string Abstract{get;set;} } If I uses the parent and child classes as above the stub class only contains the Abstract property. I have looked at using the KnownType attribute on the ChildData class like so: [DataContract] [KnownType(typeOf(ParentData)] public class ChildData : ParentData{ [DataMember] public string Abstract{get;set;} } However this didn't work. I then applied the DataContract attribute to the ParentData class, however this then creates two stub classes in the client application which I don't want. Is there any way to tell the serializer that it should flatten the inheritance to that of the sub-class i.e. ChildData

  • Can't add or remove object from NSMutableSet

    - by Dan Ray
    Check it: - (IBAction)toggleFavorite { DataManager *data = [DataManager sharedDataManager]; NSMutableSet *favorites = data.favorites; if (thisEvent.isFavorite == YES) { NSLog(@"Toggling off"); thisEvent.isFavorite = NO; [favorites removeObject:thisEvent.guid]; [favoriteIcon setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"notFavorite.png"] forState:UIControlStateNormal]; } else { NSLog(@"Toggling on, adding %@", thisEvent.guid); thisEvent.isFavorite = YES; [favorites addObject:thisEvent.guid]; [favoriteIcon setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"isFavorite.png"] forState:UIControlStateNormal]; } NSLog(@"favorites array now contains %d members", [favorites count]); } This is fired from a custom UIButton. The UI part works great--toggles the image used for the button, and I can see from other stuff that the thisEvent.isFavorite BOOL is toggling happily. I can also see in the debugger that I'm getting my DataManager singleton. But here's my NSLog: 2010-05-13 08:24:32.946 MyApp[924:207] Toggling on, adding 05db685f65e2 2010-05-13 08:24:32.947 MyApp[924:207] favorites array now contains 0 members 2010-05-13 08:24:33.666 MyApp[924:207] Toggling off 2010-05-13 08:24:33.666 MyApp[924:207] favorites array now contains 0 members 2010-05-13 08:24:34.060 MyApp[924:207] Toggling on, adding 05db685f65e2 2010-05-13 08:24:34.061 MyApp[924:207] favorites array now contains 0 members 2010-05-13 08:24:34.296 MyApp[924:207] Toggling off 2010-05-13 08:24:34.297 MyApp[924:207] favorites array now contains 0 members Worst part is, this USED to work, and I don't know what I did to break it.

  • simplexml object node iteration

    - by MorbidWrath
    I have an xml file that I'm parsing with php's simplexml, but I'm having an issue with an iteration through nodes. the xml: <channel> <item> <title>Title1</title> <category>Cat1</category> </item> <item> <title>Title2</title> <category>Cat1</category> </item> <item> <title>Title3</title> <category>Cat2</category> </item> </channel> my counting function: public function cat_count($cat){ $count = 0; $items = $this->xml->channel->item; $size = count($size); for($i=0;$i<$size;$i++){ if($items[$i]->category == $cat){ $count++; } } return $count; } Am I overlooking an error in my code, or is there another preferred method for iterating through the nodes? I've also used a foreach and while statement with no luck, so I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

  • Removing Item from Collection / Changing field of Object

    - by x Nuclear 213
    public void searchOwner(List<Appointments> appts, String owner) { Appointments theOne = null; for (Appointments temp : appts) { if (owner.equalsIgnoreCase(temp.owner.name)) { System.out.println(temp.data); temp.setResolved(true); } } } public void checkRemoval() { for (Appointments appts : appointments) { if (appts.resolved == true) { appointments.remove(appts); } //Iterator method used before enhanced for-loop public void checkRemovalI(){ Iterator<Appointments> it = appointments.iterator(); while(it.hasNext()){ if(it.next().resolved = true){ it.remove(); } } } So far this is where I am encountering my problem. I am trying to check the arrayList of Appointments and see if the field (resolved) is set to true, however I am receiving an ConcurrentModification exception during the searchOwner method when trying to set resolved = to true. I've tried using an Iterator in checkRemoval instead of an enhanced for-loop however that didn't help either. I really only need to get the part where the appointment is set to true to work, the checkRemoval seemed to be working early before implementing the changing of the boolean resolved. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you.

  • To not iterate through function of Array object if it is added to Array prototype

    - by Rishat Muhametshin
    According to the way to add indexOf method to Array class in IE6, how do I now reject this method from iterating through any random array? For example: Array.prototype.indexOf = function(needle) { ... }; var array = [1, 2, 3]; for (var i in array) { document.write(i + ': ' + array[i]); } gives output 0: 1 1: 2 2: 3 indexOf: function ... How can I skip indexOf property and stop iterating on it without adding any code to where for(...) is called?

  • Making a PHP object behave like an array?

    - by Mark Biek
    I'd like to be able to write a PHP class that behaves like an array and uses normal array syntax for getting & setting. For example (where Foo is a PHP class of my making): $foo = new Foo(); $foo['fooKey'] = 'foo value'; echo $foo['fooKey']; I know that PHP has the _get and _set magic methods but those don't let you use array notation to access items. Python handles it by overloading __getitem__ and __setitem__. Is there a way to do this in PHP? If it makes a difference, I'm running PHP 5.2.
