• I want to set the AutoCompleteMode property in ApplyCellStyleToEditingControl subroutine

  Hi, I am creating a DataGridView Column. and it is working well. now I want to customise this column with AutoCompleteMode, and AutoCompleteSource properties to show the customised data. I made the properties for this columns, and these are also working well. but these properties are not working in the "ApplyCellStyleToEditingControl" subroutine. Please help me to use these column properties in the "ApplyCellStyleToEditingControl" subroutine. I could leave it as an object but rather have it as a pointer so some non python aware code can use it. Any ideas?

• Dynamic swappable Data Access Layer

  I'm writing a data driven WPF client. The client will typically pull data from a WCF service, which queries a SQL db, but I'd like the option to pull the data directly from SQL or other arbitrary data sources. I've come up with this design and would like to hear your opinion on whether it is the best design. First, we have some data object we'd like to extract from SQL. // The Data Object with a single property public class Customer { private string m_Name = string.Empty; public string Name { get { return m_Name; } set { m_Name = value;} } } Then I plan on using an interface which all data access layers should implement. Suppose one could also use an abstract class.   I am working on a program where each item can hold an array of items (i'm making a menu, which has a tree-like structure) currently i have the items as a list, instead of an array, but I don't feel like I'm using it to its full potential to simplify code. I chose a list over a standard array because the interface (.add, .remove, etc...) makes a lot of sense. I have code to search through the structure and return the path of the name (i.e. Item.subitem.subsubitem.subsubsubitem). • Friendly way to parse XDocument

  I have a class that various different XML schemes are created from. I create the various dynamic XDocuments via one (Very long) statement using conditional operators for optional elements and attributes. I now need to convert the XDocuments back to the class but as they are coming from different schemes many elements and sub elements may be optional. The only way I know of doing this is to use a lot of if statements. This approach doesn't seem very LINQ and uses a great deal more code than when I create the XDocument so I wondered if there is a better way to do this? • "file not found" error while commiting

  I have a working copy, checked out from SVN repository. When i'm trying to commit, i get following error: svn: File not found: revision 57, path '/trunk/path/to/my/file/logo-mini.jpg' I've found this file in the repo and noticed, that it has only one revision - 58. I don't understand, why SVN complains about this file, when it is presented and why it points to revision 57 instead of 58 ? I've also renamed the grand-grand-grand-parent folder of this file. Possible, this is an issue ... Update Detailed error description, that i've got from Cornerstone app (Mac OS X): Description : Could not find the specified file. • Do we need to explicitly pass php.ini's location to php-fpm?

  I am seeing a strange issue where my php.ini is not used if I do not explicitly pass it to php-fpm when starting it. This is the upstart script I am using: start on (filesystem and net-device-up IFACE=lo) stop on runlevel [016] pre-start script mkdir -p /run/php end script expect fork respawn exec /usr/local/php/sbin/php-fpm --fpm-config /etc/php/php-fpm.conf If PHP is started with the above, my php.ini is never used, even though it is in Configuration File (php.ini) Path. This is the relevant part from phpinfo(): Configuration File (php.ini) Path /etc/php/ Loaded Configuration File (none) Scan this dir for additional .ini files (none) Additional .ini files parsed (none) If I modify the last line of the upstart script to point php-fpm to php.ini explicitly: exec /usr/local/php/sbin/php-fpm --fpm-config /etc/php/php-fpm.conf -c /etc/php/php.ini Then we see that the php.ini is loaded: Configuration File (php.ini) Path /etc/php/ Loaded Configuration File /etc/php/php.ini Scan this dir for additional .ini files (none) Additional .ini files parsed (none) Why is this the case? Is this a quirk in php-fpm? Minor update: This also seems to be a problem for php5-fpm installed using apt-get. I did a test install in a Ubuntu Server 12.04 virtual machine by running the following: sudo apt-get install nginx php5-fpm PHP-FPM and nginx were started after installation and everything seemed fine. I then uncommented php's settings in nginx's configuration and placed a test phpinfo() file to inspect PHP's settings. The relevant bits are: Configuration File (php.ini) Path /etc/php5/fpm Loaded Configuration File (none) Scan this dir for additional .ini files /etc/php5/fpm/conf.d Additional .ini files parsed /etc/php5/fpm/conf.d/10-pdo.ini I noted that no php.ini was loaded either. However, if I go to /etc/php5/fpm, I can see that a php.ini exists. I also checked the start up scripts for PHP-FPM and the -c parameter was not used to link the ini file to PHP. This can potentially be confusing for people who would expect php.ini to be loaded automatically by PHP-FPM.

• How can I set my bootloader to load my primary (C:) partition?

  I created 4 partitions and want to use them to have seperate Windows XP, Windows 7, (possibly) Windows Vista installations, and "WinDummy" (to test applications in Vista, XP or another OS). I used Norton Ghost to install an OS to the drive in about 3 minutes. My problem is that I installed the spare first on the 4th partition, then Windows 7 on the second. I tried to set the bootloader (with easybcd) to use the first partition - but it doesn't want to. Heres my debug screen on easybcd As you can see, the device is set to H and i cant figure out how to change it. I can make my bootloader use Windows 7 first, but I can't make it use my C: install of XP instead of my spare H:. How would I fix this? • How can I access a webDAV folder as a UNC share?

  first of all I am just getting to know about webDAV and appreciate your patience. I have a virtual directory on IIS 6 (windows 2003) that is based on a network share on a file server different from web server. something like www.mysite.com/myreports where myreport is based on \myfileserver\reports. I have been asked by network folks to not use the UNC path like that for security reason and try to explore using webDAV. What I have been told is webDAV can give me a UNC path without requiring to open the ports required for a file server UNC path. Then I can use the new UNC path to map my virtual directory and my asp.net code will not require any change. Help: Being new to webDAV, I did some research over the web. I now can create a web folder in fileserver. I put IIS on file server as well. I can browse the content as http:://fileserver/mywebDAVreports which is based on reports folder. But I don't know how to get a UNC for this web folder to be able to map my virtual directory on web server. I appreciate any help on this. Regards, Amar

• apache pointing to the wrong version of python on ubuntu how do I change?

  I am setting up a flask application on and Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS EC2 instance and everything seemed to be working well (i.e. I could get to the webpage via the publicly available url) until I tried to import a module (e.g. numpy) and realised the apache python differs from the one I used to compile the mod_wsgi and also the one I am using I am running apache2. The apache2 logs show the warnings (specifically the last line shows the path hasnt changed): [warn] mod_wsgi: Compiled for Python/2.7.5. [warn] mod_wsgi: Runtime using Python/2.7.3. • try to attach to a database file but can't browse folder which contains the file

  I am trying to attach to database file (*.mdf, *.ldf) that I placed in the same folder as all my other SQL Server databases. I begin the attach by attempting to browse to the folder which contains the db files as well as all of my active database files. I select "attach Database" and click the "Add" button to add a database to the list of databases to attach to. When I do so, I get this error: TITLE: Locate Database Files - BESI-CHAD ------------------------------ D:\SQLdata\MSSQL10_50.SQLBESI\MSSQL\DATA Cannot access the specified path or file on the server. Verify that you have the necessary security privileges and that the path or file exists. If you know that the service account can access a specific file, type in the full path for the file in the File Name control in the Locate dialog box. ------------------------------ BUTTONS: OK ------------------------------ The path is correct and, as I mentioned, it contains all of my other database files so I wouldn't think that permissions should be an issue, but here is what I see for that folder: Any idea why I cannot browse to that folder and attach to the db files that I have place there?
