  I'm writing some code and I need to get the window handle of the listbox associated with a combo box. When looking in spy++, it looks like the parent of the listbox is the desktop, not the combo box. How can I programmatically find the listbox window handle? I know I'd be looking for a window class of ComboLBox that belongs to my process, but how do I narrow that down to the specific one I am looking for? Adam

Now I want to plot a decision region where each region is marked with a red star or with a blue circle according to whether it belongs to class 1 or -1.   Hallo all, In my institute, Tortoise is employed for the purpose of version control. I find, if a mdb file which belongs to the working copy of a project reporitory is opened thru Access, the ordinary will be labelled with an explamation mark. Since the database has not been modified, I don't unterstand why Tortoise regards the opening as a kind of modification. Thanks in advance for any tips. John

• How can I draw a shadow beyond a UIView's bounds?

  I'm using the method described at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/805872/how-do-i-draw-a-shadow-under-a-uiview to draw shadow behind a view's content. The shadow is clipped to the view's bounds, although I disabled "Clip Subviews" in Interface Builder for the view. Is it possible to draw a shadow around a view and not only in a view? I don't want to draw the shadow inside the view because the view would receive touch events for the shadow area, which really belongs to the background.

The problem is that I have to show size attribute of configurable product on category grid and list view. Every solution on google suggested something like $_product->getAttributeText('size') but I ended up at just a single string - "S" or "M" instead of an array. I tried using f.check_box :email_preference, :value => preferences.email_preference but it doesn't work.
