  • Hide segment in URL but give code access to hidden segment

    I'm using Structure and have a "Supernav" page with multiple children that will make up the supernav for the site. I thought this would be a nice way to have all pages on the site accessible to the client via one location: the Structure UI. If you visit any of the child pages in the "supernav" group the URL comes out like this: http://website.com/supernav/prospective-students I'd love to be able to remove the supernav segment of those URLs so that it ends up being: http://website.com/prospective-students I don't even want the supernav segment to appear in the status bar when you hover over these links on the page. Is this possible? With CodeIgniter this comes down to a simple routing rule, but I don't know if that's an option with EE. Appreciate any help I can get!

    In my web app, I would like to show an "Admin" menu link only to users who have been added to the database as an administrator. What would be the best way to do this in ASP.NET MVC 2? At the moment, I am doing it by checking whether the user exists in the Admin database table for every page. Obviously, there must be a better way to do this. If it helps, I am using Windows Auth.

  • howto hide outline on a form

    i have to design a form with an input inside it. i use background image on the input so it would look like a button. so every time somebody click it, then it would send $POST, a behavior i want to achieve. But the problem is about the outline around the form. The outline show when we click the form. It's minor, but it would be great to make the form (or input) lost it outline. i test it using Firefox 3.6 and flock. Both of them show the outline behavior that i want to avoid

  • How to hide zero values in bar3 plot in MATLAB

    I've got a 2-D histogram (the plot is 3D - several histograms graphed side by side) that I've generated with the bar3 plot command. However, all the zero values show up as flat squares in the x-y plane. Is there a way I can prevent MATLAB from displaying the values? I already tried replacing all zeros with NaNs, but it didn't change anything about the plot. Here's the code I've been experimenting with: x1=normrnd(50,15,100,1); %generate random data to test code x2=normrnd(40,13,100,1); x3=normrnd(65,12,100,1); low=min([x1;x2;x3]); high=max([x1;x2;x3]); y=linspace(low,high,(high-low)/4); %establish consistent bins for histogram z1=hist(x1,y); z2=hist(x2,y); z3=hist(x3,y); z=[z1;z2;z3]'; bar3(z) As you can see, there are quite a few zero values on the plot. I tried <Files ~ "\.inc\.php$"> Order deny,allow Deny from all </Files> and RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} \.inc\.php RewriteRule .* - [F,L,NS] They both prevent users from viewing /myscript.inc.php?s=blah but they also cause /script-blah to return 403... Is there a way to do this correctly?

It works, but for the Output i have the following Problem: I send the AJAX Request to index.php?option=com_cwgallery&controller=gallerie&task=ajax As i told you, it works, but i want to display the result in a Layer.     Hi all, I've installed HTTP Activation and Non-HTTP Activation IIS's features for Framework.NET 3.0 under WCF Activation feature. I'm trying to remove http and https bindings (under default Web Site) from IIS Manager and leave others (net.tcp, net.msmq, etc.) but if I close and re-open IIS manager I not found any icons in the right panel (Feature View). The only feature I see is IIS Manager Permissions. It's right I don't see them? I hope you can help me. Thank you in advance!

    I want to display a basic html table with controls to toggle showing/hiding of additional columns: <table id="mytable"> <tr> <th>Column 1</th> <th class="col1">1a</th> <th class="col1">1b</th> <th>Column 2</th> <th class="col2">2a</th> <th class="col2">2b</th> </tr> <tr> <td>100</td> <td class="col1">40</td> <td class="col1">60</td> <td>200</td> <td class="col2">110</td> <td class="col2">90</td> </tr> </table> So Column 1 and Column 2 will be the only columns displayed by default - but when you click on the Column 1 I want 1a and 1b to toggle, and same with Column 2 with 2a and 2b. I may end up with more columns and lots of rows - so any javascript looping approaches have been too slow to work with when I tested. The only approach that seems to be fast enough is to set up some css like this: table.hide1 .col1 { display: none; } table.hide2 .col2 { display: none; } table.hide3 .col3 { display: none; } table.show1 .col1 { display: table-cell; } table.show2 .col2 { display: table-cell; } table.show3 .col3 { display: table-cell; } And then set up onClick function calls on the table header cells that will trigger a toggle - and determine which css class to set "mytable" to that will create the toggle effect that I'm looking for. Is there an easy way to set this up so that the code can work for n # of columns?

    Hello all. Am I going mad/blind? Probably a combination of the two. How does one go about removing the data labels from a pie chart with the new chart control in .net 4? I can get these to display as tooltips absolutely fine, but ultiamtely I'd like the labels not to be present as it looks rather busy. My MainWindow looks as follows: Everything works fine as it is but I noticed a problem when pushing a details view to the navigation controller.     I call a QDialog in to modes, showNormal and showFullscreen. In normal mode all works fine. With a Keyevent the Dialog closes as expected. In Fullscreen, after a keyevent the Dialog closes, but the QGraphicsView will stay on top.     When Atomikos is configured via Spring, a jta.properties or transactions.properties file is not needed. Nonetheless, Atomikos starts up with the follow messages printed to stderr: No properties path set - looking for transactions.properties in classpath... transactions.properties not found - looking for jta.properties in classpath... Failed to open transactions properties file - using default values It makes it look like the Spring configuration didn't take -- although apparently everything is fine. Does anyone know how to get rid of this so I don't end up getting asked about it 1.000 times?

    This is a question about tidyness. The project is already working, I'm satisfied with the design but I have a couple of loose ends that I'd like to tie up. My project has a plugin architecture. The main body of the program dispatches work to the plugins that each reside in their own AppDomain. The plugins are described with an interface, which is used by the main program (to get the signature for invoking DispatchTaskToPlugin) and by the plugins themselves as an API contract: namespace AppServer.Plugin.Common { public interface IAppServerPlugin { void Register(); void DispatchTaskToPlugin(Task t); // Other methods omitted } } In the main body of the program Register() is called so that the plugin can register its callback methods with the base class, and then later DispatchTaskToPlugin() is called to get the plugin running. The plugins themselves are in two parts. There's a base class that implements the framework for the plugin (setup, housekeeping, teardown, etc..). This is where DispatchTaskToPlugin is actually defined: namespace AppServer.Plugin { abstract public class BasePlugin : MarshalByRefObject, AppServer.Plugin.Common.IAppServerPlugin { public void DispatchTaskToPlugin(Task t) { // ... // Eventual call to actual plugin code // } // Other methods omitted } } The actual plugins themselves only need to implement a Register() method (to give the base class the delegates to call eventually) and then their business logic. namespace AppServer.Plugin { public class Plugin : BasePlugin { override public void Register() { // Calls a method in the base class to register itself. } // Various callback methods, business logic, etc... } } Now in the base class (BasePlugin) I've implemented all kinds of convenience methods, collected data, etc.. for the plugins to use. It's only needed by the dispatcher in the main body of the program. How can I prevent the derived classes (Plugin) from seeing the method in the base class (BasePlugin/DispatchTaskToPlugin) but still have it visible from outside of the assembly? I can split hairs and have DispatchTaskToPlugin() throw an exception if it's called from the derived classes, but that's closing the barn door a little late. I'd like to keep it out of Intellisense or possibly have the compiler take care of this for me. Suggestions?

    Basically when browsing folders inside a QFileDialog I find very annoying to have everything bloated with hidden or backup folders (don't know how to call them really); specially on home. Is there a way to prevent these type of folders from showing by default on a QFileDialog? I'm using Qt4.6 and getOpenFileName. P.D.: I'm starting to think this might be an ubuntu thing...?

When I click a list item I want jQuery to check if the first letter of the item matches the first letter in any table cell in my markup, if so the parent table row should be shown and other rows should be hidden.   • How to make overflow: hidden really hide content?

    Please, look at this example. I intend making horizontal layout with pure html/css, don't bother of old browsers. I made it with display: table technique. But displaying main text containers (light-yellow) became a problem. Each of this has overflow: hidden to prevent vertical scroll. Later, I intend adding some shadow effect at the bottom. Now, I want to make in, for example, 80% height with 10% margin top and bottom. But what I get is container with larger text stretching all parents container (light-green), so 80% of it became too much. Is there any way to avoid it without javascript? Maybe I can get text container any height, but with some margin at the bottom. I will appreciate any solution.

  • Hide labels in pie charts (MS Chart for .Net)

    I can't seem to find the property that controls visibility of labels in pie charts. I need to turn the labels off as the information is available in the legend. Anyone know what property I can use in code behind? I tried setting the series labels to nothing Chart1.Series[i].Label = string.Empty; but the labels seem to show up anyway.
