  • Import Google Voice Contacts Into iPhone

    What I'd like to do is have my Google Voice contacts available on my iPhone, not the other way around. I recently had to restore the phone to factory defaults and it's a pain to manually enter all them all. When I make a new GMail e-mail account on my iPhone it won't let me import contacts from my Google account, but even if it did I don't want every single contact in my phone. Google for some reason adds every single person I've ever sent e-mails to into my contacts list, which as you can imagine is quite a large list by now. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to do this?

  • How To: Transfer Categories in Outlook 2007 from One Installation to Another Using Google Sync

    I use Outlook 2007 for email. I also happen to use the categories for organizing my mail. This function is cool, because you can use keyboard shortcuts that make categorizing mail quick and easy. The problem I am having is that, since I use Google Apps Sync at home and at work, I can't seem to figure out how to transfer the existing category assignments that I spent months creating at work. As my email comes and goes, I assign this and that, with thousands of messages all belonging to specific categories. When I finally installed and started using Google Apps Sync at home, the synchronization process works great, but all my messages are blank, i.e., don't have the color categories I assigned at work. What's worse, I actually changed computers at work, and now am facing the same problem on the new workstation. Using: Windows XP Pro, Outlook 2007, Google Apps. Anyone run into this and find a solution?

  • Google docs spreadsheet not loading

    I have a Google spreadsheet with a lot of very important data and some scripts that where working well. At some point, the brownser crash and I reload the page. After that, I can't acess that (only that!) spreadsheet any more! I try it from other Google accounts but it doesn't work. All I get is the "Loading..." message in the brownser tab and nothing more (the loading process never completes). I also can't: copy the file or download it! Ie, I can lose all the information in my spreadsheet and also lose all my scripts! (I never think something like this could hapen with a Google Product) How can I solve this problem?     Hi, I am trying to use ActiveMerchant to make a Paypal Recurring transaction call. I used the patch here: http://blog.vuzit.com/2008/08/01/paypal-website-payments-pro-us-with-recurring-billing-and-activemerchant/ and I'm stuck on this here: ActiveMerchant::Billing::PaypalGateway.pem_file = File.read('paypal_cert.pem') I am fairly sure the pem file is correctly downloaded from paypal. The error I receive is: /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/activemerchant-1.5.1/lib/active_merchant/lib/connection.rb:129:in initialize': Neither PUB key nor PRIV key:: nested asn1 error (OpenSSL::PKey::RSAError) from /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/activemerchant-1.5.1/lib/active_merchant/lib/connection.rb:129:innew' from calling the commit method from line 49 of paypal_pro_recurring. I simply have 2 files - paypal_pro_recurring.rb from the tutorial and paypalTest.rb which I wrote and simply requires all files and calls the function. I hope the error isn't something stupid like I must require from an environment file or something. Thanks all!

  • Paypal IPN setup...Ship to Zipcode and auto calculation

    Hi I have successfully setup paypal IPN on my site and its working fine. From my paypal account I have set options to ass shipping and tax calculations(only if it's Iowa). But the only issue is, on the paypal checkout page it's asking me to enter the "Ship to Zipcode" manually...if I enter and update only then the net payable is getting updated with the shipping and tax charges. Is there any variable via which I could send the ship to zip code which will work directly on the cart and make it auto calculate the charges and show it? I have tried both "zip" and "address_zip" variables. None of them worked. By the way I have multiple items on my cart so I am using the "cart" transaction type. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello, I trying to do billing service. Seller can create bill from my website and send to the buyer. Once seller created bill, bill detail will be send to buyer email address. What I want to know is, at the bill information email, can i send payment link whether buyer can click payment link and carried to the paypal payment page directly. Will not be landing or redirecting from our page. Can it be possible ? Because when someone request money from paypal, we get the payment link from paypal which is directly go to the payment page.   • PayPal IPN & ASP.NET MVC

    Hello - I have a strange problem that somebody can hopefully help me with. For a while now I have been using PayPal's IPN service for our website. In order to test it I have a port opened up on our firewall pointing to my machine. This has been working great with no problems at all. I recently upgraded to the RTM release of ASP.NET MVC and now things are not working. I can navigate to my IPN handler from the outside world so I know it's not my connection or a firewall issue. It simply refuses to recieve any PayPal IPN messages. I am puzzled why the page can be accessed yet the PayPal IPN server wont connect to it. I realize there could be a 1000 different reasons for this, but I am hoping somebody out there can point me in the right direction!

  • Google doesn't seem to update the description or title of my homepage

    Before we launched our website, we had set up a "coming soon" page and google picked up the title and description from its contents. So the description in the search results said, "Coming soon! Visit epicwhale.org for updates." It's been a few weeks since we launched our website. We've even created a sitemap and submitted it to google. In the google webmaster panel, the pages have been crawled and all the pages are appearing as expected on google, EXCEPT the homepage which is still not updated! The title and description of the homepage in google search results still says coming soon.. The website I am referring to is textmewidget.com and below are the images of the search result. Google: http://i.imgur.com/vAkJg.png I checked on bing too, but it appears to be fine there. Bing: http://i.imgur.com/Q8O6L.png All other pages seem to be indexed fine on google. I don't even have any crawl errors in my reports. So what seems to be the problem? I've already waited for 2 weeks. Thanks in advance!
