  • Complex form widgets in Django

    - by Shekhar
I am looking for good helper libraries to generate a rather complex form in Django. Dynamic field dependencies: Say if option a is selected certain fields are shown/hidden and subset of these are mandatory depending on option selection. Add more: On clicking "Add more" button that clones some widget. This is something which ToscaWidgets is capable of handle. http://toscawidgets.org/documentation/tw.dynforms/tutorial.html#growing Currently I am managing this with some jquery code however not completely satisfied. TIA

  • Help Finding Memory Leak

    - by Neal L
Hi all, I am writing an iPad app that downloads a rather large .csv file and parses the file into objects stored in Core Data. The program keeps crashing, and I've run it along with the Allocations performance tool and can see that it's eating up memory. Nothing is alloc'ed or init'ed in the code, so why am I gobbling up memory? Code at: http://pastie.org/955960 Thanks! -Neal

  • Strange groovy behavior when dealing with threads

    - by Misha Koshelev
Dear All: I have an interesting dilemma. If I define my class as: class Browser { def swtException protected Object evaluate(script) throws SWTException { swtException=null display.syncExec() { try { result=swtBrowser.evaluate(script) } catch (SWTException swtException) { Browser.swtException=swtException } } } I get this rather interesting error: Exception in thread "Thread-5" org.eclipse.swt.SWTException: Failed to execute runnable (groovy.lang.MissingPropertyException: No such property: swtException for class : com.mksoft.fbautomate.browser.Browser Possible solutions: swtException) Any ideas??? Thank you! Misha

  • xslt help - my transform is not rendering correctly

    - by Hcabnettek
Hi All, I'm trying to apply an xlst transformation using the following file. This is very basic, but I wanted to build off of this when I get it working correctly. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:msxsl="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xslt" exclude-result-prefixes="msxsl"> <xsl:template match="/"> <div> <h2>Station Inventory</h2> <hr/> <xsl:apply-templates/> </div> </xsl:template> Here is some xml I'm using for the source. <StationInventoryList xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns="http://www.dummy-tmdd-address"> <StationInventory> <station-id>9940</station-id> <station-name>Zone 9940-SEB</station-name> <station-travel-direction>SEB</station-travel-direction> <detector-list> <detector> <detector-id>2910</detector-id> <detector-name>1999 West Smith Exit SEB</detector-name> </detector> <detector> <detector-id>9205</detector-id> <detector-name>CR-155 Exit SEB</detector-name> </detector> <detector> <detector-id>9710</detector-id> <detector-name>Pt of View SEB</detector-name> </detector> </detector-list> </StationInventory> </StationInventoryList> Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? The simple intent here is to make a list of station, then make a list of detectors at a station. This is a small piece of the XML. It would have multiple StationInventory elements. I'm using the data as the source for an asp:xml control and the xslt file as the transformsource. var service = new InternalService(); var result = service.StationInventory(); invXml.DocumentContent = result; invXml.TransformSource = "StationInventory.xslt"; invXml.DataBind(); Any tips are of course appreciated. Have a terrific weekend. Cheers, ~ck

  • Idea: CodeIgniter codecompletion in Eclipse

    - by ToS
I just figured out that all code completion for Eclipse is stored in plain files located here (example): .\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.php.core_2.1.1.v20090921-1100\Resources\language I tried adding global variables like $_POST, $_GET, $_SERVER to the end of basic.php but without any luck (did try to restart Eclipse). Is there a way to create compatible files for the needs of "smooth integration" of (ie.)CodeIgniter framework by adding or changing files located here and how would it be done?

  • What files should be added to SVN in an eclipse Java project?

    - by Jake Petroules
I have a Java project I'd like to commit to my SVN repository, created with eclipse. Now, what files (aside from the source code, obviously) are necessary? In the workspace root, there is a .settings folder with many files and subfolders, and inside the project folder there are two files - .classpath and .project, and another .settings folder with a single file - org.eclipse.jdt.core.prefs. Which of these files should be committed to SVN and which can be safely excluded?

  • Confusing .gitignore syntax

    - by tmslnz
I was reading http://www.kernel.org/pub/software/scm/git/docs/gitignore.html and the 6 points used to explain the ignore patterns seem to be describing a custom variant of a glob search syntax. I am more familiar with Mercurial, which allows to explicitly ignore via glob or regex patterns, no questions asked. Is there anything similar functionality in Git? Can anyone point me to some more exhaustive reference than the Git man page? Best, t

  • Symfony with only FTP access

    - by Asaf
Hello, I'm currently developing on my local pc, to which I have complete access of course. However to my production server I have only FTP access. Now, this step http://www.symfony-project.org/getting-started/1_4/en/05-Web-Server-Configuration On Symfony's installation guide, suggests that I need to edit the httpd.conf I was wondering if there's an alternative since I don't have access to it on production.

  • Quartz Cron Trigger with Spring - triggering new cron before last ended

    - by Trick
Simple question, I think. I have org.springframework.scheduling.quartz.CronTriggerBean triggering one job once a day. Because this method can last a long time (over 24 hours), will the next day at the same time a new job be executed if the last one is not ended yet? If yes - is it possible to turn off executing new jobs until the last one is finished? My method is trans-coding videos and some days there a lot of videos and could last long.

Is there a compendium of virtual machines and languages derived or inspired by Lua? By derived, I mean usage beyond embedding and extending with modules. I'm wanting to research the Lua technology tree, and am looking for our combined knowledge of what already exists. Current List: Bright - A C-like Lua Derivative http://bluedino.net/luapix/Bright.pdf Agena - An Algol68/SQL like Lua Derivative http://agena.sourceforge.net/ LuaJIT - A (very impressive) JIT for Lua http://luajit.org MetaLua - An ML-style language extension http://metalua.luaforge.net/

  • Using HTTP Pipelining with Jetty HTTPClient

    - by jrogi
I'm trying to figure out how to use HTTPClient (org.eclipse.jetty.client.HttpClient) so it will pipeline HTTP Request. I've tried to create some HttpExchange instances and applying the send() method for each, in an asynchronous mode, but each HTTP request has waited for it response before the next request was sent. Can you please supply a code snippet for this case?
