I've been messing around with VS2010 beta 2 (ultimate) on windows7 and already I have a nasty problem - when I try to run devenv it's only shows me very-nice-beta2 splash screen and cpu usage of devenv process run to sky. If thats can help - on machine i have already vs2008 installed.

    Hi, We have an application whose virtual memory rises and keep going for over a day. After two days it has climbed to about 500MB. I have tried profiling the applications which hits a database as well as makes lots of http and soap requests but I Fastmm4 shows there are no leaks. I am not sure how or when memory is claimed and if there is a problem here with the rising virtual memory? JD

But is it legal for me to simply bundle and use this product directly within my app (no modification) and resell for commercial use?     I would like to use Python's tempfile module to create a temporary file that I will use for communication between processes (use of pipes is awkward). The documentation I've linked to above shows two functions that almost do what I want: tempfile.NamedTemporaryFile # For creating named tempfiles tempfile.SpooledTemporaryFile # For creating tempfiles in memory but actually I want a tempfile that is both named AND in memory. Any ideas?
