  • get rid of red X in IE for non-existing images

    I have a 3rd website (Confluence) which references images which are secured by a login. If the current user is logged in the image is shown if not the image url would redirect to a login form. Example When you enter this url in the browser a redirect to the login page is done. The problem now: IE shows a the dreaded red X icon for the image even though there should be just nothing (like in Firefox). Anyone knows how to get around this?

    I asked this question a few days ago but it seems to have gone cold fairly quickly. What I want to do is pretty simple and I can't believe someone hasn't figured it out. Solution needs to be JScript classic ASP. I am reading a file from a remote server and I want to process that (binary) file on my server and spit the results back to the client as XML. Here's a simplified version of what I am trying to do. This code runs, or will if the URL is filled in for your site. This test file is readbin.asp. It reads a file called test.bin, and writes the result to a stream. I used a stream because that makes it easier to read the file and parse the contents. The limit can be disabled by setting this attribute to a value less than or equal to 0. If not specified, this attribute is set to 2097152 (2 megabytes). But what's "the container FORM URL parameter parsing"? Any ideas what is the purpose of "maxPostSize"? Thanks in advance.

I have successfully validated my JSON at JSONLint, so I've run out of ideas as to what I might be doing wrong. Any thoughts? Update: I had the client switch the content type to application/json. Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing the exact same problem. I also updated my HTML and included the live URL I've been working with. Update 2: I just gave this a try in IE8 and it works fine. For some reason, it doesn't work in either Firefox 3.6.3 or Chrome 4.1.249.1064 (45376). I did notice a mistake with the data being returned (the developer is returning a collection of data, even for queries that will always return a single record), but it still baffles me why it doesn't work in other browsers. It might be important to note that I am working from an HTML file on my local file system. I thought it might be a XSS issue, but that doesn't explain why Flickr works.

    This is a really weird question and I apologize: I've been asked if it's possible not to import our blog from Wordpress to Drupal but just keep it in Wordpress as an archive and re-direct our users say from hostname/blog/... to hostname/wordpress/... when a URL matches the Wordpress URL pattern. I've never heard of anyone trying this and I'm wondering about pitfalls and whether or not it's even possible. Thanks! D

  • Special chars in Amazon S3 keys?

    Is it possible to have special characters like åäö in the key? If i urlencode the key before storing it works, but i cant really find a way to access the object. If i write åäö in the url i get access denied (like i get if the object is not found). If i urlencode the url i paste in the browser i get "InvalidURICouldn't parse the specified URI". Is there some way to do this?

I have a MS Access Database that stores login information which includes ID, FullName, FirstName, LastName, Username, Pawword, AcessLevels. My question is this: I currently have session variable to track the Username when it is entered into the login page. However I would like to use that Username to pull the User's FullName to display throughout the web pages and use for querying data. How do I change the session variable to read that when they are not entering their FullName on the login page but only Username and password. I have listed my login information code below if there is any additional information needed please let me know.     Hi, I have a DNN module which renders a user control (view.ascx) All is ok ( I am logged in ) and I get the DNN settings menu. however when I add another control and load it like so: string url = Globals.NavigateURL(PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabID, "View_Details", "mid=" + ModuleId.ToString()); Response.Redirect(url); I lose the settings link when the new control loads. Any ideas? Is there a property somewhere to turn on settings for the loaded user control?

I have to share these artifact for other teams(developers), but javadoc every time has another one URL(I know that it's possible to get it like .lastFinished), and get's new place on Build Machine. Is it possible on each build replace old artifact with new one because I don't need need previous versions? And have independent from build version URL for accessing.
