• How to delete a cell in UITableView by using custom button in cell ?

  I have UITableView. I customized the cell height (increased). I have 4 labels(UILabel) and 1 image(UIImage) and 3 buttons (UIButton). one of the button is delete button. By touching the cell or button(play button) on the image a video is loaded and played. I need to delete the cell by touching delete button. If I touched the delete button the corresponding video is deleted from library . But, how to delete the cell and all remaining data in it ? I am not able to delete the cells or the data in the cells. How to do it ? I used these. • Doctrine 2 entity cannot be saved with its many-to-many related entities

  I'm writing a project in ZF and have many-to-many related accounts and videos entities and I provide the account with the videos collection. When I try to save the account I receive the following error: A new entity was found through the relationship 'Entities\Account#playlistVideos' that was not configured to cascade persist operations for entity: Entities\Video@000000004d5f02ef00000000196757dc. Explicitly persist the new entity or configure cascading persist operations on the relationship. If you cannot find out which entity causes the problem implement 'Entities\Video#__toString()' to get a clue. I found a suggested solution with cascade={"persist"} which should allow videos to be saved together with the account by only specifying $this-em-persist($account) but then I get the error: Fatal error: method_exists(): The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition "Proxies\EntitiesAccountProxy" of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded before unserialize() gets called or provide a __autoload() function to load the class definition in... The same happens when I try to manually persist videos and account. Thank you for the help in advance.

• Most watched videos this week

  I have a youtube like web-page where users upload&watch videos. I would like to add a "most watched videos this week" list of videos to my page. But this list should not contain just the videos that ware uploaded in the previous week, but all videos. I'm currently recording views in a column, so I have no information on when a video was watched. So now I'm searching for a solution to how to record this data. The first is the most obvious (and the correct one, as far as I know): have a separate table in which you insert a new line every time you want to record a new view (storing the ID of the video and the timestamp). I'm worried that I would quickly get huge amounts of data in this table, and queries using this table would be extremely slow (we get about 3 million views a month). The second solution isn't as flexible but is more easy on the database. I would add 7 columns to the "videos" table (one for each day of the week): views_monday, views_tuesday , views_wednesday, ... And increment the value in the correct column based on the day it is. And I would reset the current day's column to 0 at midnight. I could then easily get the most watched videos of the week by summing this 7 columns. What do you think, should I bother with the first solution or will the second one suffice for my case? If you have a better solution please share! Oh, I'm using MySQL.

So I end up with 5 of the same video rather than 5 different ones. • Use CSS3 nth-child to alternate the float of images within DIV tags...

  Basically, what I'm trying to create is a page of div tags, each has an image inside them and I'm trying to use CSS3's nth-child to alternate the float of that specific image. But for the life of me, I can't get the nth-child to locate those images. Here is my code so far... • Check a list of packages to install with apt-get

  I am writing a post-install script for Ubuntu in Perl (same script as seen here). One of the steps is to install a list of packages. The problem is that if apt-get install fails in some of many different ways for any one of the packages the script dies badly. I would like to prevent that from happening. This happens because of the ways that apt-get install fails for packages that it doesn't like. For example when I try to install a nonsense word (i.e. typed in the wrong package name) $ sudo apt-get install oblihbyvl Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Unable to locate package oblihbyvl but if instead the package name has been obsoleted (installing handbrake from ppa) $ sudo apt-get install handbrake Reading package lists... My question is, is there some facility either in Perl (e.g. a module, though I would like to avoid installing modules if possible as this is supposed to be the first thing run after a new install of Ubuntu) or apt-* or dpkg that would let me be sure that the packages are all available to be installed before installing and if not fail gracefully in some way that lets the user decide what to do?

• WordPress website getting hung up for 10-15 seconds

  Problem I have a website (which loads fine): http://testupg.videve.com/ Go to the blog section (and it begins to load, gets hung up, then loads): http://testupg.videve.com/blog/ It's all one WordPress install. The only pages that are getting hung up are the blog page itself and any article page. The video pages load fine etc. What Have I done and noticed. If I disable all plugins, the blog page loads fine. I narrowed it down to DisplayBuddy plugins (Featured posts, Carousel, Slider)...as soon as I enable any single one of them, the site loads slow. The thing that doesn't make sense is, I disabled the sidebar (deleted it from the template) and the article page still loaded slow and it has ZERO instances of this plugin. I disable the plugin and the article page loads fine. How on earth can this be? I am hoping this case above can give just a little bit of insight! One other thing. The video pages use a custom taxonomy so I am wondering if its something to do with the default wordpress taxonomy. Any help is GREATLY appreciated, I have been at this thing for hours and it's time to call in some support. Cheers

  Hello guys.. it's i first time i'm asking here. Sorry if the answer is available already. I have a very small jQuery script that canges the paramether for onclick attr on a DIV. IT works like as right and left arrows for some content in the middle. BAsically i set the onclick="foo(1)" then when get clicked sld change the value 1 to 2, and keep changing everytime i click. on jQuery functio i'm using: $("#v_arrow_r").attr('onclick','').unbind().click(newclick_next); it works like a charm on FF and Chrome, but does not work on IE !!!! • Aggregating and displaying content from hundreds of RSS feeds

  I'd like to build a website that aggregates and displays content from hundreds of RSS feeds. The feeds will be from different sites: Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, etc, so the content will be very heterogenous. In a perfect world — and this is more of a side issue — I would like to allow other people to help manage the list of feeds and assign tags to the content from each individual feed so that you can filter the items that are displayed. What I've tried so far: Google Feeds API – I thought this would be the answer, but unless I'm missing something, the FeedController will only output the collected feed content as separate lists. Is there any way to ask the Google Feeds API to aggregate and sort the content from many RSS feeds before displaying? Yahoo! Pipes – This also seemed like a good solution at first. I setup a Pipe that accesses a list of RSS feeds stored in a Google Doc spreadsheet and then aggregates the content. However, the output leaves a lot to be desired; Tumblr video posts, for example, only show a title and a permalink to the post, the embedded Youtube video is lost. PHP – I've seen this question, which looks like a good approach. I'm less proficient in PHP, so although I'm willing to learn, I'd ideally like to find a different approach. Any thoughts? Thanks.

• Audio Streaming Latency

  I'm writing a UDP local area network video chat system and have got the video and audio streams working. However I'm experiencing a little latency (about half a second) in the audio and was wondering what codecs would provide the least latency. I'm using NAudio (http://naudio.codeplex.com/) which provides me access to the following codecs for streaming; Speex Narrow Band (VBR) Speex Wide Band (16kHz)(VBR) Speex Ultra Wide Band (32kHz)(VBR) DSP Group TrueSpeech (8.5kbps) GSM 6.10 (13kbps) Microsoft ADPCM (32.8kbps) G.711 a-law (64kbps) G.722 16kHz (64kbps) G.711 mu-law (64kbps) PCM 8kHz 16 bit uncompressed (128kbps) I've tried them out and I'm not noticing much difference. Is there any others that I should download and try to reduce latency? I'm only going to be sending voice over the connection but I'm not really worried about quality or background noises too much.   Hello, I'm playing around with YouTubes Javascript API. I've set up a test page on my local enviornment, but the play function is not working. The video loads, and I can press play on the yt video screen, but my link "play" isn't working. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong??   Une vision client/fournisseur réunie autour d'une ébauche de cadre contractuel Lors de la Cloud Computing World Expo qui se tenait au CNIT la semaine dernière, j'ai assisté à la présentation du nouveau volet du Syntec numérique sur le Cloud Computing et les "nouveaux modèles" induits : modèles économiques, contrats, relations clients-fournisseurs, organisation de la DSI. L'originalité de ce livre blanc vis à vis de ceux déjà existants dans le domaine est de s'être attaché à regrouper l'ensemble des acteurs clients (au travers du CRIP) et fournisseurs, autour d'un cadre de formalisation contractuel, en s'appuyant sur le modèle e-SCM. Accélération du passage en fournisseur de Services et fin d'une IT en silos ? Si le Cloud Computing permet d'accélérer le passage de l'IT en fournisseur de services (dans la suite d'ITIL v3), il met également en exergue le challenge pour les DSI d'un modèle en rupture nécessitant des compétences transverses permettant de garantir les qualités attendues d'un service de Cloud Computing : déploiement en mode "self-service" à la demande, accès standardisé au travers du réseau,  gestion de groupes de ressources partagées,  service "élastique" : que l'on peut faire croitre ou diminuer rapidement en fonction de la demande mesurable On comprendra bien ici, que le Cloud Computing va bien au delà de la simple virtualisation de serveurs. Comme le décrit fort justement Constantin Gonzales dans son blog ("Three Enterprise Principles for Building Clouds"), l'important réside dans le respect du standard de l'interface d'accès au service. Ensuite, la façon dont il est réalisé (dans le nuage), est de la charge et de la responsabilité du fournisseur. A lui d'optimiser au mieux pour être compétitif, tout en garantissant les niveaux de services attendus. Pour le fournisseur de service, bien entendu, il faut maîtriser cette implémentation qui repose essentiellement sur l'intégration et l'automatisation des couches et composants nécessaires... dans la durée... avec la prise en charge des évolutions de chacun des éléments. Pour le client, il faut toujours s'assurer de la réversibilité de la solution au travers du respect des standards...   The much anticipated RTM release of Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) happened today.  IE9 preview release was first showcased at MIX 2010 and post that there were 7-8 Platform Preview releases.  Also, IE9 Beta came out in September 2010 with close to 10 million downloads within a month.  More recently, the RC version was out with much improved performance.  Today, marks the launch of IE9 RTM.  What this means is that, within an year, the IE Team has shipped the stable product, much faster than the earlier cycles for IE8 and IE7.  I wanted to clarify a few things (myths) that arise in common 1. I am already using Chrome and its faster for me, why would I need IE9 IE9 uses 100% hardware acceleration which means, you are going to get the best of performance compared to any other browser that shipped/will ship in future.  With native Windows support, IE9 will outperform all other browsers in terms of performance. 2. What about standards and security Agreed IE6 hasn’t been in the best of standards, but why would someone compare IE6 which was released almost 10 years back.  Later, we shipped IE7 and IE8 which had the best of standards and supports during their timeframes, but one would agree that standards and specifications keep getting updated and its hard to keep pace with the same for older browsers.  Example. HTML5 support is not there in IE8 but it is very much there in IE9.  IE9 supports most of the stable standards of HTML5 and its going to provide preview releases for the work-in-progress standards. 3. IE doesn’t keep in pace with other browsers Agreed! we don’t force/release updates on major versions in very short time periods.  What we do is provide Windows Update that provides security updates/patches and other critical updates for not just IE but the whole of Windows operating system 4. I am running Windows XP, what do I do? This is the trickiest part.  Windows XP isn’t the supported operating system for IE9 and there are various reasons to it.  The recommended operating system is Windows Vista and Windows 7.  In the interest of technology and its pace, we had to discontinue Windows XP both from a retail selling perspective as well as IE9 support.  But, the recent 2 years has seen PCs/Laptops only shipped with Windows Vista or Windows 7 so, it shouldn't affect them. 5. Where do I verify IE9’s performance/standard support and other information. http://samples.msdn.microsoft.com/ietestcenter/  Here below is a snapshot of one of the tests.
