  • Package soap_api with several layer tag hierarchy

    Hello, I've seen in this topic (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/37586/consuming-web-services-from-oracle-pl-sql) that it's possible to modify the soap_api package from oracle (http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/9i/ConsumingWebServices9i.php) to :"extended the SOAP_API package to allow the client code to arbitrarily insert an extra tag. So you can insert a sub-level such as , continue to build the request, and remember to insert a closing tag". I'm interrested for this application. Do you know if this package exists ? Can somebody send me the code ? Thank.

    I have spent several hours today reading up on doing Custom Routing in ASP.NET MVC. I can understand how to do any type of custom route if it expands from or is similar/smaller than the Default Route. However, I am trying figure out how to do a route similar to: /Language/{id}/Question/{id}/ And what I would like, too, is similar to how SO works. Something like: /Language/{id}/Arabic/Question/{ID}/Some-Question-Title Where "Arabic" and "Some-Question-Title" can be almost anything because what really matters is the ID's Am I going beyond what can be done with the extended URL past the language ID?

    I want to make console window with a functional tray icon. I figured out that most probably it is necessary to replace initial console's window procedure so I will be able to control all messages including notify area events. But SetWindowLong function returns 0, and GetLastError() tells that access is denied. hwndFound = GetConsoleWindow(); SetWindowLong(hwndFound, GWL_WNDPROC, (long)WndProc); What could it be, or maybe there is some other way to control tray icon manipulations?

Or should the models be singletons that are dependency injected into any component that requires them? Or should a new model instance be created for each component that needs one, in which case events would be used to propagate changes across model instances of the same class?

    Is it possible to have a single iPhone screen with its view loaded from a xib by that screen's UIViewController, but then another UIView within that screen with content loaded from a separate xib file? If so, is it possible to have that nested view's events handled by a separate custom UIViewController subclass from the rest of the screen? If both of these things are possible, are they also advisable?

  • How can I disable TinyMCE from stripping/modifying my HTML in Joomla?

    I've got a site running Joomla with TinyMCE set as the editor. One of the sites editors is now trying to embed a media player into an article but TinyMCE keeps messing up the HTML. I've tried setting the Extended Valid Elements, in the plugin config, to *[*] to allow anything and everything but it's not working. What I'd like is to disable the code stripping "feature" from TinyMCE all together. I don't want it trying to validate my HTML or anything like that. How can I disable the code stripping?

  • No image displayed in Fancybox

    I am having trouble getting fancybox to display its corresponding images on a website that I'm building http://www.nomadicdrift.com/test/kaniwa#events . It's a custom one page portfolio theme that I set up on the WordPress platform. If you follow the link to the events section you will see 1 figure item in a gallery like position. I have this image set up to work as a fancybox gallery, but when you click on it, it opens up the fancybox interface but does not place a image in the frame, even though it should. So this is the problem...the images do not show up in fancybox and instead I see just the frame. I have also successfully used this same markup for a one thumbnail fancybox gallery on another site. I thought maybe it was due to some conflict in the .js files I'm using. I tried uninstalling all of my plugins/addons (which aren't too many) one by one and still had the same result. I have all of my personal javascript in the functions.js file, which is where I call the fancybox plugin using the standard $("a.fancybox").fancybox();. I have installed this plugin before on other sites and have searched extensively for an answer, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sean

    I am experimenting with SQL Server full text search. I have a simple Categories table with Id as the primary key: CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Category]( [Id] [int] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL, [CategoryName] [varchar](100) NOT NULL, ) My Query is: SELECT * FROM FREETEXTTABLE (Category, CategoryName, 'music') AS F INNER JOIN Category C ON F.[Key] = C.Id ORDER BY F.Rank DESC This returns me several records with the word music in them, but it does NOT return any record with word ‘musical’. Although, it can be said that the string being searched is not very big and using the LIKE operator will resolve it. I would like to use fulltext search because this simple example is going to be extended to include other tables and fileds.

    If I'm using a canvas to display data and I want the user to be able to click on various items on the canvas in order to get more information or interact with it in some way, whats the best way of going about this? Searching online I can find information about how to bind events to tags but that seems to be more indirect then what I want. I don't want to group items with tags, but rather have specific function calls when the user clicks specific items on the canvas.

    Is there any way how to propagate properties from child control into parent - so I can access property like - Parent.Property1 instead of Parent.Child.Property1 ? I cant use inheritance - my parent cant be extended child type - its inherited from different class.   • How to load an external swf to the main stage from an instanced child class?

    Hi, I am trying to get an instance of a class to the load an external swf and show it. So far I have the following: 1) I wrote a class that uses the Loader class to load an external swf "loadExtSWF". 2) I have a fla named "MainSWF.fla" that uses a document class "MainSWF.as". 3) I have the MainSWF.as file that instances "loadExtSWF" and calls loadExtSWF.startLoad to load the swf. This almost works. The instance of loadExtSWF loads the external swf, but the swf is not displayed. If I replace the fla's document class with loadExtSWF (this has an empty constructor) instead of MainSWF, and run loadExtSWF.startLoad, then the external swf is loaded and displayed. It seems that the way I initially do it, loads the swf to the wrong stage (?). Any ideas? Thanks for the help. Bye, RaamEE P.S. For some of those classes, however, the insert() method must have additional parameters, so that they instead of overriding it I overload the method of the base class with the parameters required, for example: public class SampleClass extends BaseClass { public void insert(Object object, Long param){ // Do Something } } Now, if i instantiate the SampleClass class, i have two insert() methods: SampleClass sampleClass = new SampleClass(); sampleClass.insert(Object object); sampleClass.insert(Object object, Long param); what i'd like to do is to hide the insert() method defined in the base class, so that just the overload would be visible: SampleClass sampleClass = new SampleClass(); sampleClass.insert(Object object, Long param); Could this be done in OOP?

  • Differences between extension methods in C#3 & 4

    I think I remember reading a long time ago that in C#3 extension methods could only be applied to primitive types and interfaces; and that in C#4 they could be used to extend any type. This doesn't seam to match up with what I am seeing now and I am finding it difficult to find this documented. Is there any truth to this or did my memory make it all up? What are the rules relating to which types can be extended? Are there any differences between C# 3 and 4?

    I am having a really annoying bug, which yet I don't know how to trace it. I have an activity with 3 tabs, each populated by adapters build by asynctasks. They are displaying well, navigation is fine. I've extended TabActivity. But whenever I hit the Back/Menu/Search button it halts, then after a while the OS displays me this warning: Sorry Activity Contacts (in application MyApp) is not responding. Force close or Wait. How can I trace this problem on the phone?
