    Hello !!! I am searching 3 hours and didnt find anything.... i have this code which is called at an onChange event of an function group_changed(obj) { $.ajaxSetup({async:false}); $.post("/medilab/personnel/groups/getGroupRightsAjax",{ 'group.id': obj.options[obj.selectedIndex].value }, function(data){ $("#div_rights").html(data); }); } This works fine but if i set async:true sometimes the result doesnt match the selection... I guess that this is happening because some requests are lost or that the responses dont come in order..... Any idea what to do to keep it asynchronous?

  • Non Technical -Got selected in Well Reputed Organisation but not getting offer letter. What to do..?

    Hi, I got selected in a well reputed company on 27th of March for .Net technology and got selection letter. I was told that I will have to join in next 15 days as my notice peroid was 15 days. And I will get my offer letter as I will submit all documents. So I submitted all the documents and I resigned from my curent organisation. But now no communication is being done. I tried to communicate with them but got no respone. Now I resigned from my previous organisation and not getting offer from new one. So what should I do now? I am just waitng for offer letter and looking for another opportunity? Can anyone suggest me the way to get my offer letter..?? I know this question is nontechnical but still I am asking because I would get suggestions or what to do as by IT Professionals who might had gone through the same condition.

Updated: If I replace the $(this) in the plugin with the actual element selector $('#grid') - it works just fine, I cant do this in my real app because the plugin is used by several other table elements and grids

  • Is it verified that iPad cannot create ad hoc wifi networks?

    Has anyone been able to verify that the iPad cannot create an ad hoc network? It has different radio hardware (the fact that it does 802.11n demonstrates this) than the iPhones, which I thought was the reason that the iPhones could not create WiFi networks. I know this was sort of answered elsewhere, but I wanted it to get proper attention with its own question and by more tag coverage. Jeff, your god of biscuits. ;)

  • Information sent in an HTML form

    Hi, I've a HTML file that shows to the user the contents of a database (it is shown as a table). The user can choose one of the rows.When this is done the selection made by the user is sent to a servlet that will work with that information. Imagine that this servlet is going to look for files related to the information chosen by the user. What I'd like to do is to provide the user with the option of also choosing the number of files that are going to be looked for by the servlet. That way the user should be able to choose one of the rows shown in the table and should also be able of typing the numers of files that are to be looked for. So far I'm able to send to the servlet what the user chooses in the table, but I'd like to know if it is possible to attach to this information the number of files requested. Thanks

    Hi all, I'm basically trying to create my own tags - and replace them with the right HTML tags. So {B} {/B} would turn into <b> </b> I have only got so far with this, here: http://www.nacremedia.com/text2.htm Use the [B] button to bold stuff the current selection... it creates two bold tags and one closing for some reason. I'm so close! But I just need a bit of direction to get the final bugs out - can anyone please help?? Also, if there is a better way of doing this altogether then I am more than welcome to new ideas.

    Weird question I guess.. But I am not very math wiz - soo here goes.. I am trying to create a patterne (or variable patterns based on selection) based on x and y numbers (2 rows and 4 columns) and the direction of the counting of x numbers like: 1-2-3-4 5-6-7-8 That one is easy, when number of x-columns is reached, next line and continue x count. But with eg. this one (still 2 rows and 4 columns): 1-2-3-4 8-7-6-5 upsie.. what if it is eg. 3++ rows and still 4 columns? 1-2-3-4 8-7-6-5 9-10-11-12 what would be the formula for this - or other possible variations (teaser for variations): 9-10-11-12 8-7-6-5 1-2-3-4 or reversed

    Hi, I am using the jqGrid plug-in and at one point I need to refresh the grid and set the selected row to match the record that I am showing in detail on another section of the page. I have the following code but it does not work: $("#AllActions").trigger("reloadGrid").setSelection(selectedRow); The selectedRow parameter comes from an event handler that gets called when the data is changed and the grid needs to be updated. I'm pretty sure that the problem is that the grid is not loaded when the selection is being set, because if I put a call to alert() between the calls to trigger() and setSelection(), it works.     Hello all, I am trying to display a text field that has text inside it, and display the flashing Caret at the end of the text. I have tried the following: Code: // ti_title is my textField stage.focus = ti_title; ti_title.setSelection( ti_title.length, ti_title.length ); I have also tried: // ti_title is my textField ti_title.stage.focus = ti_title; ti_title.setSelection( ti_title.length, ti_title.length ); The field is focused because I can type into it, but I do not see a Caret until I have started typing. This is not very good for usability. I have even tried removing text then re-adding it and then setting the selection again, but still not working. Any ideas? all the best nG

  • Unable to install USB drivers for android

    I'm running Win XP 64bit and am connecting a Motocliq to my computer. The device is recognized by windows and shows up in the device manager (Motorola ADB Interface), however when I try to install drivers (manually, from the usb_driver revision 3 provided by Android) it fails giving the error "The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software." Does anyone else have experience installing this drivers on XP64bit/Motocliq?

    I created one desktop project in c#. i want to know about how it could be use for different languages. i created resx file for all the forms like that: select particular form goes to the property window set localiztion true select language in which i want to show in particular language. convert all labels text and other functionality in selected language and build it. after building one another resx file created other than default resx. This process is did for all the form. so now each form having to resx file first is hi.resx for hindi and another is default resx. now my qus is that : how to give language selection option at installation time. and when user choose any language then my application is converted in that language that means particular language resx file set life time whenever user uninstall that application.

The app got approved in android store whereas itunes rejected it claiming below, "Apps may not use protected third party material such as trademarks, copyrights, patents or violate 3rd party terms of use.     Hi, I have a table called Resource, and i am making a line chart (the chart is complicated, so just assume its a simple xy line chart). I want to execute the report with different resources. I have added a new parameter and bound it to a dataset to return a dropdownlist of resource names. Can i do a mulitiple selection of resource. for example if i want to make chart with ResourceA and ResourceB, only, can i select these two resources from the dropdownlist of parameters. cheers, Oz

  • Get products to display on custom Magento page

    How can you get products to display on a custom Magento page? Naturally, this is not an uncommon question but nothing that I've seen has solved it for me. The common response is to put the following code in through the CMS editor: {{block type="catalog/product_list" name="home.catalog.product.list" alias="products_homepage” template=”catalog/product/list.phtml”}} Which just displays the message "There are no products matching the selection." on my page. Other websites advise reindexing the data through the Magento admin controls, clearing the Magento cache, and making sure products are set to a store, none of which helped in my case. Anyone have any ideas?

  • Extracting text from PDF with Poppler (C++)

    I'm trying to get my way through Poppler and its (lack of) documentation. What I want to do is a very simple thing: open a PDF file and read the text in it. I'm then going to process the text, but that doesn't really matter here. So... I saw the poppler_page_get_text function, and it kind of works, but I have to specify a selection rectangle, which is not very handy. Isn't there just a very simple function that would output the PDF text in order (maybe line by line?). Thank you Nicola
