  • Absolute positioning error in IE6 with dropdown list

    I have a div, that I'm using JavaScript to position, so that when someone hovers over an image, it displays a tooltip message that follows along with the pointer. (Using tooltip-0.2.js ) The problem is that when a user goes to the page in IE6, a disabled dropdown box on the page is showing through this absolutely positioned tooltip when it tries to hover over it. How can I get this dropdownlist to know its proper place? ;)

    Hello again. Im adding an image to my wordpress theme through dreamweaver cs4 and themedreamer. The image will go in the sidebar.php. When I inserted an image it doesnt shows in firefox and explorer. With safari, the image only shows an empty box with a question sign in the middle. Is there a special way to add image in a wordpress template?

    Hi All, I'm running into a similar problem as this: link text I've done the fix as in the answer but now I end up with an error a couple lines later: $$([overlay = (new Element("div", {id: "mbOverlay"})).addEvent("click", close), center = new Element("div", {id: "mbCenter"})]).setStyle is not a function [Break on this error] ]).setStyle("display", "none") It's on this page: link text When you click on 'showreel' it should pop up into the media box, but instead it just goes to a new page. So I came up with the idea of a Panel + modalPopupExtender placed in the MasterPage, and calling it from child pages via code-behind. How can I do that? Or perhaps you guys have a better idea to solve this.

  • Running cUrl cmd from Win7 doesn't work, but on Linux it does.

    Like the title says. I'm sending a simple cUrl cmd from Win7 to CouchDB on my Linux box, and it doesn't work. But if I run the same command in Linux, it works. I'm sending this: curl -X POST 192.168.2.5:5984/test/testdoc -d '{"owner":{"fname":"test","lname":"ing"}}' From windows, it keeps giving me a "error: bad request, reason:invalid UTF-8 JSON". I can run GET commands from windows just fine, I just can't seem to POST to CouchDB.

    I have a check box and I have subscribed for the CheckedChanged event. The handler does some operations in there. I check and uncheck the checkbox programmatically (ex: chkbx_Name.Checked = true), and the CheckedChanged event gets fired. I want this event to be fired only when I manually check or uncheck it. Is there any way to avoid firing of this event when i check/uncheck it programmatically?

    When using Django "out-of-the-box" administration forms, the "change form" pages can be rather long for complex models (with a lot of fields). I would like to use tabs in the "change form", so things can be more readable (group fields by tabs...) Instead of doing it all by myself, by modifiying the 'change_form.html' admin template, I was wondering whether somebody has already done that and would like to share the code, or whether an existing Django-plugin already exist.     How do you determine the length of a string of text in Arial Bold font, and then center it in VB6? If not here, can you point me in a direction where I might be able to find this information? We're not using a "label" or "picture box" do print the text to the screen. We are sizing the text on the fly, and allowing the user to scale the size of our application to their liking. We write the text to screen using code.

    I have a console application which has target .NET 2.0 It is very short but full of unsafe code. I converted it to VS 2010. I run it OK. When I try to change "target framework" in properties to 3.5 or 4.0 it shows message box: TargetFrameworkMoniker: Error parsing application configuration file at line 0. XML document must have a top level element. the target then stays 2.0 anyway... Any thoughts?
