    Has anyone tried migration from Microsoft OracleClient to dotConnect for Oracle? Is it realy so easy (as they wrote at their blog http://www.devart.com/blogs/dotconnect/?p=67) or just another marketing trick? I've tried ODP.NET, but it seems to me that its interface differs from the standard one.

    Hi, I'm looking for a way to implement Facebook/Twitter/OpenID/... authentication on my WordPress blog. I have found plugins for Twitter, plugins for Facebook, plugins for OpenID.. but I'm afraid integration of all thos plugins will be tough. Also, I have found RPX that is doing the job perfectly, but I would prefer an open source soultion rather than relying on RPX web service. Would you have any clue? Nicolas

    With .NET 3.5 SP 1 I checked out this blog and followed instructions, however the StringFormat parameter still gets ignored. Any possible reasons? To be sure: the datatype that are involved are DateTime, double, int. So the formatting SHOULD work, but it's not. Any clues why?

    This question is along the same lines as What are some funny loading statements to keep my users amused, I want screenshots of all the coolest "error" pages site's throw up when something's broken. I know pandora.com talks about a panda ravaging it's way through the office, twitter's has the little birds floating around or something, sourceforge had one with some funny robots the other day. I'm sure I saw a blog once that had a bunch of them, but it's kinda hard to google "error pages". Community Wiki, of course :)

I am actually in process of writing a Pseudo distributed one using python and multiprocessing module and thus wanted to know if someone else has also tried implementing it.     I'm trying to use a custom sort with a ListView, as described in this blog entry. I'm doing ListCollectionView view = (ListCollectionView)CollectionViewSource.GetDefaultView(TheList.ItemsSource); as recommended there and in several other places, but for some reason I'm getting "Unable to cast object of type 'MS.Internal.Data.EnumerableCollectionView' to type 'System.Windows.Data.ListCollectionView'." (TheList is of type ListView). What could be causing this?

    I've been trying to configure xdebug to work along with netbeans, my current configuration is [xdebug] zend_extension="C:\binaries\php\ext\php_xdebug-2.1.0RC1-5.3-vc6.dll" xdebug.remote_enable=on xdebug.remote_handler=dbgp xdebug.remote_host=127.0.0.1 (also tried localhost) xdebug.remote_port=9000 xdebug.idekey="netbeans-xdebug" I tried the test provided by a netbeans blog explaining how to test if the configuration works when binding it just outputs "unable to bind" Any suggestions?
