  • Documentation for Liferay Hooks

    Hi there, I need to listen for user log in and log out events in Liferay. From what little I've been able to find, it seems that using Liferay hooks would be the way to accomplish this. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find any information other that at the following link: http://www.liferay.com/web/raymond.auge/blog/-/blogs/portal-hook-plugins Does anyone know where I can find further documentation or how I would implement listening for user log in/log out events?   • Failing to install activerecord-jdbcmysql-adapter gem

    I am trying to follow the basic "Create a blog in 20 minutes" Rails screencast but have hit a stumbling block already. When I try to rake db:migrate I get errors about the gem activerecord-jdbcmysql-adapter not being installed. When I try to install it, I am told it doesn't exist. If I try to simply gem install mysql I get all sorts of madness appearing. I am running this on Mac OS X 10.6.2 and my installation was all done through gem. My basic setup works (Hello world!).     Is there any way to speed up the Add Reference dialog? For example, has anyone found any way to open it by default in the Recent or Browse tabs (which is what I use 90% of the time), to avoid the other tabs' slowness?     Has anyone found/made any decent color themes for Visual Studio 2010? My VS 2005/2008 themes seem to be getting mangled in the upgrade process.
