• html5media library doesn't work on FF 3.6.3

  Hi. Am I the only one experiencing this issue? I'm using the html5media library and the test page they provide no longer plays in Firefox 3.6.3, though it plays on the latest Safari, Chrome, Opera, and IE. On FF 3.6.3, it shows the video and the audio with large X through them. I'm using this library on my site and noticed the issue as well. I'm not seeing any errors in the error console.

  Is it possible to write a regular expression for finding a typical file matching pattern. e.g. File<13/04/2010.txt should be picked up and not any other file. i.e. Starting file name will be File followed by some dates and then the file extension.   Is it possible to use mod_negotiation to serve up a webp image if the browser supports it, and a jpg otherwise? For instance, if I link to an image with the path /images/test, it serves the image found at /images/test.webp if the UA knows about webp, or jpg otherwise? I've tried poking around, but it seems that the Accept headers in Chrome at least look like Accept:*/*, rather than specifying the image type. If this isn't the way to do it, has anyone got any other suggestions?

  I am experimenting with HTML5 local storage functionality, but was frustrated to learn that the browser won't allow local storage when the file is local. My guess is that the browser (Chrome in my case, FF too) wants to see a domain rather than a file location. Has anyone here discovered a workaround for developing locally? Perhaps setting up a local domain? That sounds like too much trouble. There should just be a developer option in the browser, grrrrrr.

  Hi I need to know if there's any way of making all controls of a column the same width, and that all these controls are as wide as the cells that contain them. I added a demo on JSFiddle with the controls I'm using. I tried using size for the input texts and style="width:" for the selects , and even though I managed to make them the same width,(it doesn't seem to work in Chrome) it's kinda difficult , that's why I'd like to know if there is any more straightforward way to do the same thing Any ideas or insights?

  In my application,I have an option of adding files to a list..were it will let the user to select multiple files at the same..am using CFileDialog to do tis and I enabled OFN_MULTISELECT (for multiselect)...The problem am facing is,When I try to add a shortcut file..its not taking the actual shortcut path,its reffering to the actual path.Actually I wanted to avoid shortcut file being added to my list,but every shortcut file that is being added does not have the extension ".lnk"(i dont know the reason).
