    I have a mysql database of users that can login to my site and view content. I would like to block a couple of directories from certain users. What is the best way to do this. Currently when a user logs in a cookie is created with their customer id and the customer is is used to display their content. How would I block entire directories from my users???

When my application is coming up, the element host is taking few seconds and the winform is getting displayed as a blank screen. How to fix this? Any ideas are appreciated.     Hi there, I have a problem with dynamically added script element (using jQuery). Code for adding new script element to DOM is this: var pScript = document.createElement("script"); pScript.type = "text/javascript"; pScript.src = sFile; // Add element to the end of head element $("head").append(pScript); The script is added with no problem, and the code runs perfectly. But, the problem occurs when I try to find the newly added script. I use this code to iterate through all script elements: var bAdd = true; $("script").each(function() { if(this.src == sFile) bAdd = false; }); (I need this code to prevent adding script that is already loaded) Problem is that all other script elements have src attribute set, but the newly added (dynamically) has not... Any idea?

If I attempt to use JavaScript to resize it dynamically (setting a new width and height - either on the attributes of the canvas or via the style properties) I get the following error in Firefox: uncaught exception: [Exception...     (First of all, I'm trying to learn how to handle xsd files, I know very little) I got this xsd, and just copy to Eclipse IDE, and it says there an error on line 26: <xs:element name="Issuer" type="dkx:IssuerType" /> saying: cvc-attribute.3: The value 'dkx:IssuerType' of attribute 'type' on element 'xs:element' is not valid with respect to its type, 'QName'. Any idea what is this? (as this is an example file, I'm assuming it is an independent file, hope it is)

    Here is a very simply jsFiddle to demonstrate my problem: http://jsfiddle.net/ryandlf/mSmUv/4/ When an element has a top padding or margin and it sits on the first line within a div, the div does not respect that padding or margin and push the element down. In most cases this isn't an issue, but for example, if I have a button that has a top border and padding the top of the border will be cut off because the div is not taking into consideration the padding value. Is there a workaround for this other than just blindly setting margins or padding on every container div element and hoping I have added enough to account for any internal element that might be affected?

    Is it possible in a GSM mobile phone OS (e.g. Android, Win Mo, Symbian, etc.) to have some kind of background task or application able to exchange data at the same time with a web server and a secure element of the mobile? The purpose if for the web server to be able to push APDUs to the secure element (an retrieve response APDUs) without activating the IHM of the mobile. NB: I know that this is possible when the secure element is the one managing the GSM baseband, for example using BIP as described in Ulysse specifications. My question is only when using another secure element (e.g. Java Card in a microSD).

This is the code to make it fading out: $('#block-block-1').mouseout(function() { $(this).css("display","none"); }); The issue here is that the 'mouseout' event is triggered when the mouse is over the children elements inside my div. And the parent disappears even if the mouse is still inside it.

    Hello, I have a string say: Order_num = "0982asdlkj" How can I split that into the 2 variables, with the number element and then another variable with the letter element in php? The number element can be any length from 1 to 4 say and the letter element fills the rest to make every order_num 10 characters long in total. I have found the php explode function...but don't know how to make it in my case because the number of numbers is between 1 and 4 and the letters are random after that, so no way to split at a particular letter. Please help as specifically as possible!

    I want to show a fade effect as soon as the element appears on screen. There is a lot of content before this element so if I trigger the efect on document.ready, at certain resolutions the vistors wont´t see it. Is it possible to trigger an event when, after scrolling down, the element becomes visible? I am almost sure I have seen this effect before, but have no idea how to achieve it. Thank you!
