  • Jquery UI dialog does not disappear

    I am using jquery-ui tabs and dialog functionality. Each tab has a button on the page which opens a dialog. This works for one of the tabs. However if I go the second tab, the button does not work there. When I come back to the first tab, the dialog does show up but the problem is I notice as I make switches back and forth to the first tab, it keeps on inserting new div's while the old div's have display:none set on them. I am doing this using JSP.     I have this terrible problem with IE 7/8/9. I wrote an app using Dojo toolkit 1.8.0 and Play! framework. It works fine in all browser except for IE. Its 'developers tools' show no error, so does firebug.   • Animate/Ease an element to position when other elements disappear

    Please take a look at this fiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/dhcyA/ Try clicking on a block. What I want is that when the other elements disapear, the selected block will animate/ease to his giving position instead of just jumping like it does now. Then the same animation repeats itself when clicking again on the box, but then back to place. Maybe to keep in mind: I'm using a reponsive design, which means those blocks can be vertical and horizontal after scaling the window. Any redevisions on the fiddle or suggustions would be great!

  • How to achieve jQuery scrolling/overlay effect (video in description)

    I have two columns. The left column contains text of dynamic lengths. The right column is of fixed height and will contain a set of images selected at random per page load. I am trying to create an effect where while the user scrolls, the Image 2 scrolls above Image 1. When it reaches the top, the Image 1 begins to scroll up until it disappears, then Image 3 comes in and repeats the process. As this is rather confusing, I made a short video describing the desired effect. Video - MP4 I have begun trying to get it working in this jsbin but am at a loss for when the user scrolls back down and also when more images are required. I am thinking my current path is not the right direction. I'm thinking that employing something like jQuery waypoints is more the direction I should be pursuing?

Also, since I'm not very familiar with java's graphics, can anyone tell me how can I control a window resizing event so I redraw the picture? Right now the method is triggered by the combobox and the radiobuttons shown in the code. Thanks in advance!

    I implemented a WPF load-on-demand treeview like described in this (very good) article. In the mentioned solution a dummy element is used to preserve the expand + icon / treeview item behavior. The dummy item is replaced with real data, when the user clicks on the expander. I want to refine the model by adding a property public bool HasChildren { get { ... } } to my backing TreeNodeViewModel. Question: How can I bind this property to hide/show the expand icon (in XAML)? I am not able to find a suitable trigger/setter combination. (INotifyPropertyChanged is properly implemented.) Thanks for your time. Update 1: I want to use my property public bool HasChildren instead of using the dummy element. Determining whether or not an item has children is somewhat costly, but still much cheaper than fetching the children.

  • Applescript access to last.fm app via application icon in menu bar

    Hi, I want to create an Applescript to drive the last.fm player app. I'm trying to do this via last.fm application icon in the menu bar rather than using the main application menus, as this approach (I think) won't cause last.fm to switch to the foreground. The overall plan is to bind my script to a quicksilver trigger so I can stop|start|skip|love|ban|tag tracks from the keyboard. My problem is I can't find what UI element to bind the applescript to. I've used UI Browser to scan through the UI object model but it draws a blank with the last.fm icon in the menu bar. Any thoughts appreciated.

  • Tortoise SVN Icon Overlays Displaying Everywhere...Why?

    Update: So, this turns out to have nothing to do with Tortoise SVN. I use Mozy.com for off-site backups and their new version includes these icon overlays. They can be disabled via the config options...or see here http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?p=1385433. Thanks @OS for the answer. Been using Tortoise SVN for some time on my Vista box. Within the last few days (and after recently upgrading to 1.5.4) the icon overlays are displaying on all files. My exclude path is: * My include paths are: C:\Users\jw\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\SVNProjects* C:\Users\jw\Documents\VB Projects\SVNProjects* I haven't touched those settings in months. Any ideas? Help. Thanks.

    Hi folks, I my application I have one large PNG file containg hi-res image. Depending on situation I would like to use this image either as icon or as placeholder for ImageView. For MenuItem this image is too large, so I need to scale-down it to suitable size. I mean if it has to be displayed on large enough device like Samsung Galaxy Tab - I need to use one scale, for in small ones another, etc. I just noticed that for small-sized devices MenuItem icon is not scaled just cut - which is ugly. So the question is how should detect which is preferred size?

  • Dragging Files on the Dock Icon

    I know how handle dragging of files on the dock icon, and it has been asked before. However, I'm wondering, can I somehow get more control? For example, can I make the dock icon reject files that are not in the user's folder and allow only files that are in the user's folder? I'd rather do that instead of the app appearing as if it handles files outside the user's folder, and then within the app delegate afterwards reject the files by detecting the file paths. That doesn't seem good from a user's perspective.

    I would like to get the application icon for all foreground applications running on my Mac. I'm already iterating over all applications using the Process Manager API. I have determined that any process that does not have the modeBackgroundOnly flag set in the processMode (as retrieved from GetProcessInformation()) is a "foreground" application, and shows up in the task switcher window. All I need is an API that gives me a CImageRef (or similar) that contains the application icon for a process. I'm free to use either carbon or cocoa APIs.

But When i run my application in 2.0 all icons in the iphone should be correct . But when i run this in 3.0 my other applications icons are changed....     Hi, I'm writing a program to notify me of new email. It's mostly complete, I'm just working on the notifyicon code now. It's supposed to display the usual application icon with a box containing the count of unread emails inside it. I created icons for this in photoshop, exported them as 16x16 transparent PNGs, then converted them into windows ico files using ConvertIcon.com. Given that the image was 16x16 and the WinXP system tray uses 16x16 icons, I would assume the images would work.   • Chrome starts to load image then show broken link icon

    Chrome (21.0.1180.79 m) On several random pages it has started to load an image and then suddenly the image disappears and there's only the broken image icon. If I right click the icon and choose to open the image in another window then the image opens, so it seems to me that it isn't a problem with the page?     What does a small stop sign icon on a file in solution explorer mean? Someone asked the same question a year ago Original Question but the answer provided is of no help. The icon looks like this: Suffice to say that the sign is not one presented in the VS documentation and is a UK Stop sign (red circle with a white horizontal bar) not a US one. The project is WebKit and the build process cannot find AuthenticationCF.h even though the file is present. I presume the sign might shed some light on this. Thanks, Andy

If not, the default icon will be displayed. However it is natural to think that icons to the files of the registered type (such as pdf, txt, doc, etc.), should be taken from the OS after installation. PS: Of course, I can get the pdf and txt icons from somewhere, add them to the VS project and set to the shortcuts, but I believe that there should be a better solution.
