    Hi, While i was working with an old application with existing database which is in ms-access contains some strange data encoding such as 48001700030E0F465075465A56525E1100121D04121B565A58 as email address What kind of data encoding is this? i tried base64 but it dosent seems that. Can anybody with previous experience with ms-access could tell me what possible encoding could this be.

    In R, given a vector casp6 <- c(0.9478638, 0.7477657, 0.9742675, 0.9008372, 0.4873001, 0.5097587, 0.6476510, 0.4552577, 0.5578296, 0.5728478, 0.1927945, 0.2624068, 0.2732615) and a factor: trans.factor <- factor (rep (c("t0", "t12", "t24", "t72"), c(4,3,3,3))) I want to create a plot where the data points are grouped as defined by the factor. So the categories should be on the x-axis, values in the same category should have the same x coordinate. Simply doing plot(trans.factor, casp6) does almost what I want, it produces a boxplot, but I want to see the individual data points.

    From the docs: When Core Data turns an object into a fault, key-value observing (KVO) change notifications (see Key-Value Observing Programming Guide) are sent for the object’s properties. If you are observing properties of an object that is turned into a fault and the fault is subsequently realized, you receive change notifications for properties whose values have not in fact changed. So if an object turns into a fault, Core Data does send KVO notifications for changed properties? So I must always check for isFault == NO before beeing happy about the notification?

Right now I am using a TTMessageController subclass (and referencing the data source controller delegate) and simply setting the data source of the message controller to self.     Hi there, Im having a strange problem with my custom itemRenderer in the following Methode I assign the values to the cell. The problem is, when the side.element is still empty. In this case the itemEditor will not show up by default... override public function set data(side:Object):void{ super.data = side.element.toString(); choiceLabel.text = side.element.toString(); answer.selected = side.element.@answer; } Thanks for your help!   • Rtti accessing fields and properties in complex data structures

    As already discussed in Rtti data manipulation and consistency in Delphi 2010 a consistency between the original data and rtti values can be reached by accessing members by using a pair of TRttiField and an instance pointer. This would be very easy in case of a simple class with only basic member types (like e.g. integers or strings). But what if we have structured field types? Here is an example: TIntArray = array [0..1] of Integer; TPointArray = array [0..1] of Point; TExampleClass = class private FPoint : TPoint; FAnotherClass : TAnotherClass; FIntArray : TIntArray; FPointArray : TPointArray; public property Point : TPoint read FPoint write FPoint; //.... and so on end; For an easy access of Members I want to buil a tree of member-nodes, which provides an interface for getting and setting values, getting attributes, serializing/deserializing values and so on. TMemberNode = class private FMember : TRttiMember; FParent : TMemberNode; FInstance : Pointer; public property Value : TValue read GetValue write SetValue; //uses FInstance end; So the most important thing is getting/setting the values, which is done - as stated before - by using the GetValue and SetValue functions of TRttiField. So what is the Instance for FPoint members? Let's say Parent is the Node for TExample class, where the instance is known and the member is a field, then Instance would be: FInstance := Pointer (Integer (Parent.Instance) + TRttiField (FMember).Offset); But what if I want to know the Instance for a record property? There is no offset in this case. So is there a better solution to get a pointer to the data? For the FAnotherClass member, the Instance would be: FInstance := Parent.Value.AsObject; So far the solution works, and data manipulation can be done by using rtti or the original types, without losing information. But things get harder, when working with arrays. Especially the second array of Points. How can I get the instance for the members of points in this case?
