  • Does Math.Sqrt cache its own results?

    Someone has suggested to me that the built in C# Math.Sqrt function in .NET 4.0 caches its results, so that if I call Math.Sqrt(50) over and over again, it's not actually doing a sqrt, but just pulling the answer from a cache. Can anyone verify or deny this claim? If it's true then I have a bunch of needless caching going on in my code.

    Hallo everybody, i have programmed a sub procedure, that will be called in the main procedure (called by event of mainForm), to valid the inputs before the main calculation. now i'm searching for a method, how can i cancel the calculation and refocus the mainForm if some inputs mismatch. i think, it's unnecessary to use the Try-Catch statment to trap the error from calculation because i know what is its source and it should be prevented due to the code preformance. I want that if someone click on hyperlink inside the accordion , then that accordion should slide up slowly and only after that the nect accordion falls down or open $(".accord").live('click', function(){ $('#rr1').next().slideUp('slow'); $('#rr3').next().slideDown('slow'); But i have seen that the other accordion starts opening up at the same time when the other is closing. It it something related to asynchronous thing. I don't know });

  • if curl getinfo for HTTP CODE is not returning a code!?

    Hi, I am doing a normal curl call to a webservice and I grab the return HTTP code through $code = curl_getinfo ($ch, CURLINFO_HTTP_CODE); It does return me $code as 200 - which is good. But logging the curl calls now from a week, there where few calls to the same webservice which didn't return anything! so basically I am getting $code as blank. Can someone tell me what should be going wrong under those scenarios, and if can debug it more!? Thanks, Tanmay
