• Binding to an XElement

  I need help binding to an XElement. Basically I am making a editor for certain elements in a web.config and I extract them as XElements and my View binds to a Collection of DataItems which has a property that contains my XElement. When I do Text="{Binding Path=Data, Mode=OneWay, NotifyOnSourceUpdated=True}"/> I get all the text of the Element, but If I try Text="{Binding Path=Data.Elements[], Mode=OneWay, NotifyOnSourceUpdated=True}"/> It doesn't work the TextBox is empty. I am trying to find a way to Template different sections dynamically to make them easier to edit instead of editing raw XMl.

  I am using the below class file, where some variables are declared to use in the entire application. Now I used that variable BlockLogOut in another class file to make the value true. I just put this below line and getting error in it.. TypeInitializationException Global.BlockLogOut = True; The weird thing is, it was working fine for many months and i am getting this error now on the above line. Of course i was modifying some other stuffs in the application, but surely not this class file.   I would like to implement a way to trace every line of code in an application that is written for .net v4.0. An example would be. If I had the following function. private bool hasValue(string value) { if(string.isnullorempty(value) { return false; } else { return true; }} Then when the function is called I want detailed trace logs to contain something like this: Function called |Line 10 |Signature private bool hasValue(string value)|ValuesPassed hasValue("") Line Evaluated | Line 11 | if(string.isnullorempty(value) |ValuesPassed if(string.isnullorempty("") - evaluation returned true entered line 13 |signature return false|return action taken. • Deserialize Xml with empty elements in C#

  Trying to deserialize some xml snippits into objects. The problem is that I'm getting an invalid format on every empy element tag. I can deserialize the object no problem when all of the elements have values. Or the empty elements are ommitted. Xml Snippit: <foo><propOne>1</propOne><propTwo /></foo> C# Class: [Serialilbe()] public class foo { public foo(){} [XmlElementAttribute(IsNullable = true)] public int? propOne {get;set;} [XmlElementAttribute(IsNullable = true)] public int? propTwo {get;set;} } Is there a setting on the class I can make to adjust the parsing? or Is there an easy way I can apply xsl to remove these elements? or Should I use regEx to remove the empty elements be fore desrializing? or an even better way?

Here's what I need: Everey minute the function shall check if it can load a certain page. if the connection succeeds, I want the page to be refreshed, if not, nothing shall happen, the script shall retry later.   I'm freaking out here and can't figure out what's wrong. I'm pretty new to PDO, but everything works in my code except for booleans which are sent as strings. My code (simplified): $sql = 'SELECT * FROM pages WHERE clean_url_slo = :clean_url_slo AND published = :published LIMIT 1'; $clean_url_slo = 'home'; $published = true; Then I prepare stuff and execute it like this (simplified): $stmt = $db->prepare($sql); $stmt->bindValue(':clean_url_slo',$clean_url_slo,PDO::PARAM_STR); $stmt->bindValue(':published',$published,PDO::PARAM_BOOL); $stmt->execute(); And then here is what comes to mysql (from the mysql log - the query mysql received): 91 Query SELECT * FROM pages WHERE 1=1 AND clean_url_slo='domov' AND published='1' ORDER BY id desc LIMIT 1 As you can see, published is an integer - so always true, which is not OK. Why is that if I'm declaring it as a boolean? using: WAMP SERVER PHP version: 5.3.9 Mysql: 5.5.20 Many thanks for your help..

  I have a versioning issue with a WCF service contract in which one of the many endpoints which are called for the operation is missing one method from the contract. My question is, how can I make sure the command is available on the client before attempting to call it? I tried: foreach (var od in proxy.Endpoint.Contract.Operations) { if (od.Name == "MyMethodName") { hasMethod = true; break; } } Unfortunately, this is using the contract from the calling app and does not actually describe the implementations on the endpoint itself. As a result, it returns true even though the endpoint has failed to implement the command.
