    I need to create a large matrix (array) structure (3 axis) and each element should store the reference to a Python object (myclass instance). Is it possible to use numpy to create such an array. Which data type should I use in order to store Python references? The advantage of numpy is the support of slicing at different levels. The alternativee is to create a nested (nested) list but it is a cumbersome solution.

    I have an array of CGPoints, and I'd like to fill the whole screen with colours, the colour of each pixel depending on the total distance to each of the points in the array. The natural way to do this is to, for each pixel, compute the total distance, and turn that into a colour. Questions follow: 1) How can I colour a single pixel in Quartz? I've been thinking of making 1 by 1 rectangles. 2) Are there better, more efficient ways to achieve this effect?

    I have an UIImage that I want to edit (say, make every second row of pixels black). Now I am aware of the functions that extract PNG or JPEG data from the image, but that's raw data and I have no idea how the png/jpeg files work. Is there a way I can extract the colour data from each pixel into an array? And then make a new UIImage using the data from the array?

My questions are: 1-why they put single quotation around mysql_real_escape_string ? 2-They should establish a connection first, then use the $filter array statement with mysql_real_escape_string ?

What I am saving is an infinite loop of zip files, as in, a zip inside a zip so I can't even check that the code is working correctly or not. Please help.     Hi, I have an SQL table like this : sales(product,timestamp) I want to display a chart using Open Flash Chart but i don't know how to get the total sales per hour within the last 12 hours. ( the timestamp column is the sale date ) By example i will end up with an array like this : array(12,5,8,6,10,35,7,23,4,5,2,16) every number is the total sales in each hour.
