  I'm using the Google Local Search API and Google Maps API. See here: http://geodit.com:8000/test You can perform a search, and then the javascript fills the Map, as well as the results next to the map. I think this function fills the results next to the map: function OnLocalSearch() My question is: how can I change the results displayed? Right now, by default it shows the Name of the business and the address. How can I disable the business link? And then add more text to each search result?

• prevent onmouseout when hovering child element of the parent absolute div

  Hi I am having trouble with the onmouseout function in a absolute positoned div. When the mouse hits a child element in the div, the mouseout event fires, but I do not want it to fire until the mouse is out of the parent, absolute div. How can I prevent the mouseout event from firing when it hits a child element WITHOUT jquery. I know this has something to do with event bubbling, but I am having no luck on finding out how to work this out. A similar post I found here: How to disable mouseout events triggered by child elements? How ever that solution uses jquery.

  Here is the site (made in Wordpress): http://miladalami.com I want to have the footer stick at the bottom of the page. Any solutions in how I do this? I have already tried cssstickyfooter.com and xs4all.nl/~peterned/examples/csslayout1.html but none worked as I wanted. What happened was that the main body of the page overlapsed the footer. I have been wrapping my head around this the past two days and Im lost. Is there anyone that can solve this puzzle?

  Hi I need to know if there's any way of making all controls of a column the same width, and that all these controls are as wide as the cells that contain them. I added a demo on JSFiddle with the controls I'm using. I tried using size for the input texts and style="width:" for the selects , and even though I managed to make them the same width,(it doesn't seem to work in Chrome) it's kinda difficult , that's why I'd like to know if there is any more straightforward way to do the same thing Any ideas or insights?

• Remove margin between rows of overflowing inline elements

  I'm creating a tile-based game and am using block rendering to update a large list of tiles. I'm attempting to do this in the most simple manner, so I've been trying to work with HTML's default layouts. Right now I'm creating 'inline-blocks', omitting whitespace between the elements to avoid horizontal spaces in between them but when the blocks overflow and create a new line there is some vertical margining in which I do not know how to remove.   I write a greasemonkey script that adds sticky notes to websites. Because there sometimes are pretty strange style rules used in some websites the sticky notes sometimes turn up messed up (or at least not looking like I want them to look). Is there a way to say "under this element do not apply any generic stylerules"? So that rules associated with tag names are not applied, but rules associated with certain classes and ids still are. Or does anyone have a better idea on how to ensure that only my styles are applied to the sticky notes?

  Hi, I have a website .. [SPAM LINK REMOVED]. When you see pages like [SPAM LINK REMOVED] and [SPAM LINK REMOVED]. These pages load a bit slowly in FF. Please see if the speed is reasonable or speed needs to improve and in IE 6 it takes ages to load the website. Please let me know what all should i do to increase the performance of website. I tried all the options given by firebug. But nothing much helped. If any1 can let me know where all i should take care to increase the performance it will be very helpful.

  I'm in the process of designing this site http://www.parisgaa.org/parisgaels and have a problem. The image slider on the homepage messes up sometimes. Most of the time it works and looks fine, but other times its positioning seems to get messed up and it appears underneath the content that should be below it (i.e. with that content overlapping the image). You should be able to replicate this in Chrome - just refresh a couple of times. I'd appreciate any help at all.

Wrapper is the container for the inner div's, and the rest are content oriented. So i've already implemented this with styles and all sorts, but the thing is I want to add: <div class="watermark"></div> underneath/behind both the content and video div, sort of like a reverse watermark, I've tried z-indexing but i'm not an expert.
