The Constructor of Group reads like: public Group(string name, int ID, Group parent) While De-serializing, how do I get parent using Id and pass into group?

  • Can Nokogiri Parse a Nokogiri Object?

    I'm trying to parse a part of the result of a parse, like this: queries = @doc.xpath("//spectrum_query") queries.each do |query| hits = query.xpath("//search_hit") end But instead of Nokogiri only searching for search_hits inside the query, it searches for search_hits in the whole document. I'm sure there's a different way to accomplish what I want, but doing it like this would be the simplest. Anyone know if it's possible to search just the query object?

    I need to split a string into chunks of 2,2,3,3 characters and was able to do so in Perl by using unpack: unpack("A2A2A3A3", 'thisisloremipsum'); However the same function does not work in PHP, it gives this output: Array ( [A2A3A3] => th ) How can I do this by using unpack? I don't want to write a function for it, it should be possible with unpack but how? Thanks in advance,

    I have an object oriented PHP application. I have a simple hierarchy stored in an SQL table (Chapters and Authors that can be assigned to a chapter). I wrote the following method to fetch the chapters and the authors in a single query and then loop through the result, figuring out which rows belong to the same chapter and creating both Chapter objects and arrays of Author objects. However, I feel like this can be made a lot neater.     from an instance of Site with a ManyToMany relationship to Kiosk, i'd like to check if a Kiosk object is part of the relationship. I could do self.apps.get(id=app_id).exists() and check if True or self.apps.get(id=app_id) and catch the ObjectDoesNotExist error or self.apps.filter(id=app_id) and check if True If I have to catch a possible ObjectDoesNotExist error, I may as well use the second one I can do the second but doesnt seem super clean can use the third one but using filter on a unique ID seems wrong to me You can tell me to use whatever works and that'll be a valid answer ;-)

  • SmtpClient.Send() complains of incorrect no of overloads when passing in MailMessage object

    Hi, I have this code written in .NET 4.0 using VS2010 Ultimate Beta 2: smtpClient.Send(mailMsg); smtpClient is a reference to SmtpClient (I have the relevant references added), and likewise for mailMsg (is MailMessage) - there are no errors stating anything like check for missing assemblies. However, I keep getting an error saying that I have the incorrect no of overloads, when SmtpClient takes either a MailMessage object or the To address, From address, Subject, etc. Why doesn't this code work? Totally confused. Thanks

Below is the code I'm using to convert oldScheduledDate = "16-05-2011 02:00:00"; DateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss"); Date oldDate = (Date)formatter.parse(oldScheduledDate); Now when I print oldDate, i get Sat Nov 01 02:00:00 GMT 21, which is completely wrong, what am I doing wrong here?
