    Is there a common way to show a big image and enable the user to zoom in and out and pan the image? Until now I found two ways: overwriting ImageView, that seems a little bit too much for such a common problem. using a webview but with less control over the overall layout etc.

  • magento show categories on left sidebar on a page

    I cant manage to show on a page, on the left side the categories. I selected for the page under Design - layout to 3 columns, Right side shows fine but nothing on left side. New to magento so i`m not sure in wich file in the template i have to look for. Its a custom template installed so i got so far to: app/design/frontend/default/f001/template/ but not sure now if to look under catalog or paeg folders

  • Ruby Win32Api get single character non-blocking

    I'm trying to write a simple game working with two threads, one thread to get input from the user, and another thread to animate some scenes. I'm able to get characters without pressing ENTER just fine, but it blocks in the animating thread until the user presses a key. Does anyone know of a way to get a character from the keyboard non-blocking?

  • How to set the size of multiple buttons on content

    I am using three buttons along with the list view.These three buttons are added to the layout using the TableLayout and TableRow.The first button takes more space on content, so the other two becomes smaller in size than first one. When the application runs, it doesn't even show the two other buttons. How can I make the size of three buttons equal and display all of them when application runs?Give me some example please.   • How to make area outside of custom dialog view unclickable?

    I created a custom dialog (no, this is not dialog object) from an image and some other views. The conflict I am having with this custom dialog (again, this is a layout) is that the area around it closes the custom dialog. Is there a way I can make the outside area unclickable? I have tried wrapping the dialog view with a fullscreen frameLayout w/ transparent background, and then programmatically I set the frame attribute to setClickable(false). framelayout.setClickable(false); This does nothing. It still closes the dialog. Any other suggestions? Thank you in advance. With something like this: cancelAlarmNotificationMonitoring(context); Calendar calendar = Calendar.getInstance(); Intent intent = new Intent(context, AlarmManagerBroadcastReceiver.class); PendingIntent pintent = PendingIntent.getBroadcast(context, 0, intent, 0); AlarmManager alarm = (AlarmManager) context.getSystemService(Context.ALARM_SERVICE); alarm.setRepeating(AlarmManager.RTC_WAKEUP,calendar.getTimeInMillis()+ALARM_INTERVAL,ALARM_INTERVAL, pintent); Hopefully this is more clear now.

    I'm looking for something like the individual parts of the date picker dialog. A view that allows you to input integers (and only integers) that you can limit (between 1 and 10 for example), where you can use the keyboard or the arrows in the view itself. Does it exists? It is for a dialog. A ready-made dialog to request an integer would also help.

    I have a Customer class which has a representative field....this field is initially blank but when the user opens up the details page of the chosen customer, they'll be given the open of representing this customer by clicking on a link. I'd like to have a layout where images wrap and go to a new line authomatically when they exceed the available width of the father (LinearLayout) how do you recommend I should move? thanks a lot
