  Hi, I have a datagrid with customer data such as ID, name, email, phone etc. When I select a row (with a button or selectionchanged) I want to store that row's columns in variables like dim email as string dim name as string email = dgCustomers.theselectedrow.theselectedcell name = dgCustomers.theselectedrow.theselectedcell If I have a datatable with only one row I know I can get column data with: dim email as string = CustomerDataTableInstance.rows(0).Item("Email") I don't know how to get the selected row number though when I have several rows and the user clicks one/uses the keyboard. The datagrid is bound to a datatable, not a class with object collections. Any help is appreciated!

  Hi there I'm using MS Access 2003 and I'm trying to execute a few queries at once using VB. When I write out the query in SQL it works fine, but when I try to do it in VB it asks me to "Enter Parameter Value" for DEPA, then DND (which are the first few letters of a two strings I have).   This relates to my recent question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2835663/force-oracle-error-on-fetch I am now able to reproduce a scenario where using ADO with the Oracle OLEDB Provider, I can force an error such as ORA-01722: invalid number to occur on calling Recordset.MoveNext However, this is not the error that is returned to the application. Instead, the application sees Provider error '80004005' Unspecified error. How can I get the application to see the real error from the database? This is with Oracle 10g (client and server), if it matters. How can I take a Response Stream and force the default browser Save dialog to appear from the Silverlight Application without using the Html.Window.Navigate(New Uri("image url"))?

Unfortunately I feel a valid fact came from the error message that this is something not possible.   I have a set of records in Microsoft Access that I am trying to send in an Email. The email feature works great. Except a warning message pops up every time a message is ready to send, and the user has to click "Allow" or "Deny" for every email sent. I looked up a workaround, and have been following the tutorial for it: http://www.everythingaccess.com/tutorials.asp?ID=Outlook-Send-E-mail-Without-Security-Warning. My problem is that when I put my message in the function it always returns false, and the message fails. Any help would be appreciated.
