Keyboard Shortcuts in Win 7 without the CTRL + ALT
- by Carlos
I am knew to this site and don't know if I'm doing this correctly. I've been asked to edit my original post so I deleted my original post and starting over. I don't know why it's so hard for everyone to understand what I'm trying to do. You guys are all geniuses when it comes to computers and I'm just starting out. I started out trying to use a shortcut to display the LOCAL AREA CONNECTION window on my desktop by creating a shortcut and assigning it CTRL + , (comma). Windows didn't like that so it added ALT which ended up being CTRL + ALT + ,. Since I couldn't figure out a way to eliminate ALT as part of the shortkey keys, I am now trying a different strategy and it's not working. my latest attempt is to run the following command;
^,:: Run, explorer:: {BA126ADB-2166-11D1-B1D0-00805FC1270E}
Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm trying, just give me a chance. Thanks, Carlos
