  I'm having problems creating a collection of delegate using reflection and generics. I'm trying to create a delegate collection from Ally methods, whose share a common method signature. public class Classy { public string FirstMethod<out T1, in T2>( string id, Func<T1, int, IEnumerable<T2>> del ); public string SecondMethod<out T1, in T2>( string id, Func<T1, int, IEnumerable<T2>> del ); public string ThirdMethod<out T1, in T2>( string id, Func<T1, int, IEnumerable<T2>> del ); // And so on... } And the generics cooking: // This is the Classy's shared method signature public delegate string classyDelegate<out T1, in T2>( string id, Func<T1, int, IEnumerable<T2>> filter ); // And the linq-way to get the collection of delegates from Classy ( from method in typeof( Classy ).GetMethods( BindingFlags.Instance | BindingFlags.DeclaredOnly | BindingFlags.NonPublic ) let delegateType = typeof( classyDelegate<,> ) select Delegate.CreateDelegate( delegateType, method ) ).ToList( ); But the Delegate.CreateDelegate( delegateType, method ) throws an ArgumentException saying Error binding to target method. : / What am I doing wrong?

• Error 404: No target servlet configured for uri

  Hi Experts, I just got done with a new Web module built with Spring Framework. Till now I was testing all the pages on my local machine using Tomcat. Today after I moved the application to Websphere, I am getting the following error: Error 404: No target servlet configured for uri is there anything I need to do in web.xml or somewhere? I deployed an EAR file on my WAS , which has another war file. Below is the output I am seeing on the console, if thats any help. The resource WEB-INF/ibm-web-bnd.xmi that is defined in URI WEB-INF/ibm-web-bnd.xmi for module analytics.war is not valid. The resource has a cross reference org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.webapplication.internal.impl.WebAppImpl@4be44be4 (eProxyURI: WEB-INF/web.xml#WebApp_ID) that cannot be resolved. • Parsing some particular statements with antlr3 in C target

  Hello all! I have some questions about antlr3 with tree grammar in C target. I have almost done my interpretor (functions, variables, boolean and math expressions ok) and i have kept the most difficult statements for the end (like if, switch, etc.) 1) I would like interpreting a simple loop statement: repeat: ^(REPEAT DIGIT stmt); I've seen many examples but nothing about the tree walker (only a topic here with the macros MARK() / REWIND(m) + @init / @after but not working (i've antlr errors: "unexpected node at offset 0")). How can i interpret this statement in C? 2) Same question with a simple if statement: if: ^(IF condition stmt elseifstmt* elsestmt?); The problem is to skip the statement if the condition is false and test the other elseif/else statements. 3) I have some statements which can stop the script (like "break" or "exit"). How can i interrupt the tree walker and skip the following tokens? 4) When a lexer or parser error is detected, antlr returns an error. But i would like to make my homemade error messages.   Hi, I have two dropdown lists with Cascading Dropdown, in the usual fashion: <asp:DropDownList ID="DropDownListIndustry" runat="server" DataSourceID="SqlDataSourceIndustries" DataTextField="name" DataValueField="industry_id" AppendDataBoundItems=" <asp:ListItem Text="(Please Select)" Value="-1" /> </asp:DropDownList> &nbsp;&nbsp; <ajax:CascadingDropDown ID="CascadingDropDownIndustry" runat="server" ParentControlID="DropDownListIndustry" TargetControlID="DropDownListSubIndustry" ServicePath="AjaxDataProvider.asmx" ServiceMethod="GetSubIndustry" Category="SubIndustry" /> <asp:DropDownList ID="DropDownListSubIndustry" runat="server"/> No surprises there. However, I sometimes want to set the values of the parent and target from a DB (I want to default them, based on a code entered by the user; the whole thing is wrapped in an update panel). So if the user keys in ABC, I look up ABC in the DB and default the Parent DropDown to ID 10 and Child DropDown to ID 101. However, this fails because the child has no items when the server side code runs (the web script method hasn't run, because the content of the parent dd wasn't changed on the client side) Does anybody know how to work around this?   I must be missing something obvious here but ... UIControl has a method - (void)addTarget:(id)target action:(SEL)action forControlEvents: (UIControlEvents)controlEvents which lets you add an action to be called when any of the given controlEvents occur. ControlEvents are a bitmask of events which tell you if a touch went down, or up inside, or was dragged etc., there's about 16 of them, you or them together and get called when any of them occur. The selector can have one of the following signatures - (void)action - (void)action:(id)sender - (void)action:(id)sender forEvent:(UIEvent *) none of those tell you what the control event bitmask was. The UIEvent is something slightly different, it's related to the actual touch event and doesn't (I think) contain the UIControlEvent. The sender (UIControl) doesn't have a way to find the control events either. I'd like to have one method which deals with a number of control events as I have some common code regardless of which event or events happened but I still need to know what the UIControlEvents were for some specific processing. Am I missing a way to find out what UIControlEvents were used when the action was called or do I really have to separate my code into -(void)actionWithUIControlEventX; -(void)actionWithUIControlEventY;

I can reference these just fine when specifying my Repository URL: ${svnRoot}/${svnBranch}/subProject. But I have not been able to reference them as part of my Grails Build Target: "build-applet ${svnRoot}/${svnBranch}/appletProject username password" "war --non-interactive". build-applet invokes a Gant script in the Grails project at scripts\BuildApplet.groovy.   I'm trying to port an application I'm developing to autotools. I'm not an expert in writing makefiles and it's a requisite for me to be able to use autotools. The root of the project also contains an "inc" folder containing the .h files that are nothing more than the definitions of the classes in "src", thus "inc" reflects the structure of "src". Stop. I have read the autotools documentation, but I'm not able to find a similar example to the one I am working on. Unfortunately I can't change the directory structure as this is a fixed requisite of the project I'm working on. • Updating target workbook - extracting data from source workbook

  My question is as follows: I have given a workbook to multiple people. They have this workbook in a folder of their choice. The workbook name is the same for all people, but folder locations vary. Let's assume the common file name is MyData-1.xls. Now I have updated the workbook and want to give it to these people. However when they receive the new one (let's call it MyData-2.xls) I want specific parts of their data pulled from their file (MyData-1) and automatically put into the new one provided (MyData-2). The columns and cells to be copied/imported are identical for both workbooks. Let's assume I want to import cell data (values only) from MyData-1.xls, Sheet 1, cells B8 through C25 ... to ... the same location in the MyData-2.xls workbook. How can I specify in code (possibly attached to a macro driven import data now button) that I want this data brought into this new workbook. I have tried it at my own location by opening the two workbooks and using the copy/paste-special with links process. It works really well, but It seems to create a hard link between the two physical workbooks. I changed the name of the source workbook and it still worked. This makes me believe that there is a "hard link" between the tow and that this will not allow me to give the target (MyData-2.xls) workbook to others and have it find their source workbook.

  I have migrated a VS2008 ASP.NET MVC solution to VS2010/MVC2/.NET 4.0 The solution builds locally and all unit tests pass. Our TFS server is still TFS2008 and I am having problems getting the CI build to pass. The projects all build successfully, the unit tests all run and pass but the Running Tests item fails.   I have recently moved my solution from my main dev machine using vs2010 pro sp1 to a new machine. The setup is supposed to be the same except its failing to build. However all all the libraries in question are set to use the .net 2 framework and I need it this way or else it will break stuff that uses them. However for some reason it seems to think that somehow my .net 2 system libs are somehow referencing .net 4 stuff.   Is there a way to reassign Makefile variable value inside of the target body? What I am trying to do is to add some extra flags for debug compilation: %.erl: %.beam $(ERLC) $(ERLFLAGS) -o ebin $< test: clean debug_compile_flag compile compile_test debug_compile: $(ERLCFLAGS) += -DTEST So if I invoke test target I would like to clean up my environment, add some new flags (like -DTEST to the existing ones), compile the whole code once again (first sources, then test modules). I do not want to copy/paste the code for compiling with some new flags set since there is a lot of logic put here and there. Is there some easy way to redefine the variable value so I can reuse the existing code?

  In a large solution, I'm integrating Gendarme into Visual Studio 2008 compilation process. I am using GendarmeMsBuild task along with a .targets file to add a AfterBuild target to every project in the solution. I am looking for a way to import this file into .csproj files in a way that wouldn't require me to change the include path (the projects have different nesting levels). Apart from using NuGet SolutionDir variable, best way to solve this seemed to be to use $(MSBuildStartupDirectory). However, as it turns out, on some machines, using the same version of VS 2008 (as same updates installed, as far as I was able to check) this resolves to the solution directory, and on others to c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE. How can I either get this to always resolve to the solution folder or obtain the base folder in another consistent way?

  SoundPool has a serious bug in it in Android 1.5. I fixed it with a workaround, but since it really limits my app, I want to target 1.6+ for the next version of it. I am wondering: What happens when I release a upgrade that has a higher target SDK version then the previous version of my app? Will only 1.6+ users be able to upgrade their app? Or will also the 1.5 users be able to upgrade since they have the program already installed? Anybody experience with this?

• How do I get Visual Studio build process to pass condition to library(external) project

  I have tried several solutions for this problem. Enough to know I do not know enough about MSBuild to do this elegantly but I feel like there should be a method. I have a set of libraries for working with .net projects. A few of the projects utilize System.Web.Mvc - which recently released Version 2 - and we are looking forward to the upgrade. Currently sites which reference this library reference it directly by the project(csproj) on the developer's computer - not a built version of the library so that changes and source code case easily be viewed when dealing code from this library. This works quite well and would prefer to not have to switch to binary references (but will if this is the only solution). The problem I have is that because of some of the functionality that was added onto the MVC1 based library (view engines, model binders etc) several of the sites reliant on these libraries need to stay on MVC1 until we have full evaluated and tested them on MVC2. I would prefer to not have to fork or have two copies on each dev machine. • Why Do I See the "In Recovery" Msg, and How Can I Prevent it?

  The project I'm working on creates a local copy of the SQL Server database for each SVN branch you work on. We're running SQL Server 2008 Express with Advanced Services on our local machine to host it. When we create a new branch, the build script will create a new database with the ID of that branch, creates the schema objects, and copies over a selection of data from the production shadow server. After the database is created, it, or other databases on the local machine, will often go into "In Recovery" mode for several minutes. After several refreshes it comes up and is happy, but will occasionally go back into "In Recovery" mode. The database is created in simple recovery mode. The file names aren't specified, so it uses default paths for files. The size of the database after loading data is ~400 megs. It is running in SQL Server 2005 compatibility mode. The command that creates the database is: sqlcmd -S $(DBServer) -Q "IF NOT EXISTS (SELECT [name] FROM sysdatabases WHERE [name] = '$(DBName)') BEGIN CREATE DATABASE [$(DBName)]; print 'Created $(DBName)'; END" ...where $(DBName) and $(DBServer) are MSBuild parameters. I got a nice clean log file this morning. When I turned on my computer it starts all five databases. However, two of them show transactions being rolled forward and backwards. • Using Solaris zfs + iscsi targets with Oracle VM

  I was playing with my Oracle VM setup and needed some shared storage that was block based. I did not have a storage array available but I did have a solaris box, that I use for Oracle VDI, available. I set up a few iscsi targets on this solaris server and exported them to my 2 Oracle VM servers. Here's how I did this : (1) On the solaris side : # zpool list NAME SIZE USED AVAIL CAP HEALTH ALTROOT rpool 544G 129G 415G 23% ONLINE - I just have a simple zpool, called rpool, on this box. It has plenty of space available for my needs. • How to calculate shot angle and velocity to hit a moving target?

  I am developing a 2D Android game and I am making an aiming algorithm for AI projectiles to hit enemies either following a path, or free moving. At the moment it just calculates where the target will be after a distance and fires a projectile to meet it at that distance. Of course this means varying the projectile speed to meet the target. Does anyone have any tips for a simple-ish algorithm (optimal-ish) to calculate when the projectile needs to fire and where it needs to aim if it can only travel at a constant velocity? Say the projectile goes twice the speed of the target? The only way I can think of involves searching and seems quite large.
