• How do I resolve not fully installed package (python3-setuptools)?

• rpm installation error

• I cannot access my mongodb from internet ,Anybody can help me?

  I am using Mongodb database ,which is installed in my ubuntu with the ip address 126.22.252.25. The ubuntu version info is Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS. My mongodb use the default 27017 port .On this local machine , I can use command "mongo --host 126.22.252.25" on the local machine to access, but I cannot use this command on any other linux mathine to access the db,nor can I use "telnet 126.22.252.25 27017" on my windows machine.I am sure 126.22.252.25 machine is accessable from internet because I can use winSCP and secureCRT to login to it.I run command "netstat -tnlp" , it shows below: tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:27017 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN I have already change the /ect/mongodb.conf file , modifying bind_ip parameter from 0.0.0.0 to 126.22.252.25 So ,anyone can help me?

• RAID1 rebuild fails due to disk errors

  Quick info: Dell R410 with 2x500GB drives in RAID1 on H700 Adapter Recently one of drives in RAID1 array on server failed, lets call it Drive 0. RAID controller marked it as fault and put it offline. I replaced faulty disk with new one (same series and manufacturer, just bigger) and configured new disk as hot spare. Rebuild from Drive1 started immediately and after 1.5 hour I got message that Drive 1 failed. Server was unresponsive (kernel panic) and required reboot. Given that half hour before this error rebuild was at about 40%, I estimated that new drive is not in sync yet and tried to reboot just with Drive 1. RAID controller complained a bit about missing RAID arrays, but it found foreign RAID array on Drive 1 and I imported it. Server booted and it runs (from degraded RAID). Here is SMART data for disks. Disks are about 1 year old, but it is pretty unbelievable to me that both would die within so short timespan.

When not using the drivers atall and going single-screen, both monitors support 1680x1050, but this option is only shown for one monitor in nvidia-settings, and when i manually add a metamode into the xorg.conf, it just gives up initialising the second screen. • SNMP - Value of CPU processor load not reflecting reality

  Trying to plot CPU load on my server, with the following hardware: ProLiant DL360p Gen8 (same behavior on ProLiant DL360 G7). The machine is running VMWare ESXi5.1 To create a CPU spike I run dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/null, and I know the CPU is overloaded, because I can see a correlating spike in the graphs displayed on vCenter. However, running this snmpwalk: snmpwalk -v 1 -c ******** 192.168.MY_IP 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2 Shows the following results: iso.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.1 = INTEGER: 3 iso.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.2 = INTEGER: 2 iso.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.3 = INTEGER: 2 iso.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.3.1.2.4 = INTEGER: 3 Am I not looking into the right MIB? Should I be multiplying these by a constant? By the way, using HP Agentless Monitoring I was able to get some cpu stats, but not what I'm looking for, at least nothing I could find wading through these MIBs.

• Targus USB-to-RS232 not working with Linux?

  I have the Targus PA088 USB to RS232 converter, but it seems that it does not work with linux. Its RX and TX lights are flashing, but I can't see the data in minicom/picocom. When using it with Windows and hterm, everything's fine. Any idea what could be the problem? • How do I ensure my Apple keyboard connects on boot?

  I am using Ubuntu 10.04 on a laptop and have an Apple wireless keyboard which pairs fine. Every time I turn my computer off and back on again my keyboard stops working. I have to use the keyboard on my laptop to log in. Once I've logged in, in order to get the wireless keyboard to work, I need disconnect and reconnect it by: Clicking on the Bluetooth icon, select Apple Wireless Keyboard from the drop down menu, then click on Disconnect. Clicking on the Bluetooth icon, select Apple Wireless Keyboard from the drop down menu, then click on Connect. • Ibus incompatible with Tor Browser in 13.10

  I have recently updated to 13.10 from 13.04 and noticed a compatibility issue between the new Ibus and the Tor Browser. Basically, the Tor Browser does not accept any keyboard inputs, while all other programs do. I tested this with the 64 bit versions 2.3.25-11 and 2.3.25-13 and the 32 bit version 2.3.25-13. According to this thread, quitting ibus "fixes" the problem: https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/9353 Any ideas on how to fix this?

• Trouble configuring sendmail to relay mail

  I am trying to configure sendmail and ufw on an ubuntu server (ServerA) so that another server (ServerB) can send mail through it. In my /etc/mail/access file I have the following line (a.b.c.d is the IP of ServerB): Connect:a.b.c.d RELAY My ufw status shows the following rule I added: 25/tcp ALLOW a.b.c.d When I telnet from ServerA I get through: telnet localhost 25 When I telnet from ServerB I don't (w.x.y.z is the IP of ServerA): telnet w.x.y.z 25 telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused I did restart the sendmail daemon after editing the access file. What could I be missing? Something in sendmail.mc? Edit: netstat -an|grep -w 25 tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:25 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

• Spambot Infection Detection

  My server has been blocked by CBL for participating in curtwail spambot. Initially we suspected that it was coming from a PC and not from the server, but the router is blocking all packets on 25 except those coming from the server. I have just executed the tcpdump command and every 5 minutes I see a flurry of activity on port 25 that is very suspicious and I am sure that there is some process running on the server: 13:02:30.027436 IP exprod5og110.obsmtp.com.53803 > ubuntu.local.smtp: Flags [S], seq 171708781, win 5744, options [mss 1436,sackOK,TS val 3046699707 ecr 0,nop,wscale 2], length 0 I have stopped postfix, and yet there is still traffic on port 25 above. But how can I find what process is actually communicating on port 25 as it only rund for a few seconds and so for example lsof -i :25 will never catch it. I have been working on this now for 2 days, it is a live server and I cannot simply shut it down, any suggestion on how I can detect the source of this email bot process ?

  Hello fellow engineers. I have come across a problem I just can't solve. I am using autocomplete plugin for jQuery on an input. The HTML looks something like this: <tr id="row_house" class="no-display"> <td class="col_num">4</td> <td class="col_label">House Number</td> <td class="col_data"> <input type="text" title="House Number" name="house" id="house"/> <button class="pretty_button ui-state-default ui-corner-all button-finish">Get house info</button> </td> </tr> I am sure that this is the only id="house" field. Other fields that are before this one work fine with autocomplete, and it's basically the same algorithm (other variables, other data, other calls). The application is written in Weblogic Workshop 10, runs on Weblogic Server 10.3, and uses Beehive / NetUI. Not sure if that would make a difference or not though. The build scripts were automatically generated by Weblogic Workshop, with some tweaks and fixes made to other aspects of the files by myself to fix other compatability issues. I am using Java 1.6.0_23 from Sun, and Ant 1.8.1 Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  In our company we have around 100 workstation with internet access, And day by day situation getting more worst and worst from perspective of using internet access for the purpose of doing private jobs, and wasting time on social sites. Open hearted I am not for blocking sites like Facebook, Youtube, and others similar but day by day my colleagues do not finishing his tasks and while I looking at their monitor all time they are ruining IE or Mozilla and chat and things like that. In other way Ill like to block youtube sometime when We have very poor internet access speed, Here is my questions: Do other companies blocking social sites ? Do I need dedicated device for that like hardware firewall, super expensive router Or I can do that whit my existing FreeBSD 6.1 self made router with two lan cards and configured nat to act like router.   Hi all, I'm struggling with something in FFMpeg at the moment... I'm trying to make DNxHD 1080p/24, 36Mb/s MXF files from a sequence of PNG files. My current command-line is: ffmpeg -y -f image2 -i /tmp/temp.%04d.png -s 1920x1080 -r 24 -vcodec dnxhd -f mxf -pix_fmt rgb32 -b 36Mb /tmp/temp.mxf To which ffmpeg gives me the output: Input #0, image2, from '/tmp/temp.%04d.png': Duration: 00:00:01.60, start: 0.000000, bitrate: N/A Stream #0.0: Video: png, rgb32, 1920x1080, 25 tbr, 25 tbn, 25 tbc Output #0, mxf, to '/tmp/temp.mxf': Stream #0.0: Video: dnxhd, yuv422p, 1920x1080, q=2-31, 36000 kb/s, 90k tbn, 24 tbc Stream mapping: Stream #0.0 -> #0.0 [mxf @ 0x1005800]unsupported video frame rate Could not write header for output file #0 (incorrect codec parameters ?) There are a few things in here that concern me: The output stream is insisting on being yuv422p, which doesn't support alpha. 24fps is an unsupported video frame rate? I've tried 23.976 too, and get the same thing. • Postfix "loops back to myself" error on relay to another IP address on same machine

  I'm trying to relay all mail for one domain "ourdomain.tld" from Postfix running on port 2525 of one interface to another SMTP server running on port 25 of another interface on the same machine. However, when a message is received for that domain, we're getting a "mail for loops back to myself" error. Below are netstat and postconf, the contents of our /etc/postfix/transport file, and the error that Postfix is logging. (The high bytes of each IP address are XXXed out.) Am I missing something obvious? • Excel table auto update

  So I have a table in Excel with formulas. When I add a new row, the new row automatically fills in the formulas as well, which is great. My problem is that it also changes the formula in the row above the added row as well. Here's what happens specifically: My table's last row is row 24. A formula I have in that row is the following: =COUNTIF(C$11:C24,"y")/(COUNTIF(C$11:C24,"Y")+COUNTIF(C$11:C24,"N")) When I add in data in row 25 the formula is updated in row 25 as well, which is what I want, to the following: =COUNTIF(C$11:C25,"y")/(COUNTIF(C$11:C25,"Y")+COUNTIF(C$11:C25,"N")) My problem is that the row above also updates - my row 24 changes to the same as row 25 (the C24 goes to C25). Why is my row 24 formula changing when I add a row 25? Note, my formulas above row 24 stay the same when I add in row 25 - only row 24 changes when I add in 25. Is there a way to not update the row above the row being added? This problem continues when additional rows are added - If I add in a row 26, then the formula in rows 24-26 then all reference C26. Why are they all updating?
