    hey guys i need to implement a standard encryption decryption logic across an entire project platform which has different clients implemented using different platforms as follows: 1) iphone app (objectiv c) 2) website (classic asp) 3) webservice (asp.net) the iphone app as well as the website need to send info to webservice using encrypted query strings the web service then decrypts this and processes the info further wanted to know the simplest way to achieve this. is there some free and ready to use binary available with an easy to use api to achieve this? encryption needs to be as secure as possible thnx in advance

  • Paypal Standard option does not appear on the Checkout page

    After I fill in all the information in the backend of my Magento 1.4.0.1 installation as described here, the Paypal option is not available on the One-Page-Checkout. Does anyone have an idea as to why this can be happening? Cache and Var have been emptied and I tried it on the standard and on my own theme. Kind regards, Avalon

  • C# System.Diagnostics.Process redirecting Standard Out for large amounts of data

    I running an exe from a .NET app and trying to redirect standard out to a streamreader. The problem is that when I do myprocess.exe out.txt out.txt is close to 14mb. When I do the command line version it is very fast but when I run the process from my csharp app it is excruciatingly slow because I believe the default streamreader flushes every 4096 bytes. Is there a way to change the default stream reader for the Process object?

    I'm trying to learn and understand more about mapping and displaying values on a map. (GIS) At the moment I'M looking to take some values and apply those values to a tile or bin on a map. Ideally I'd like the tile sizes to be uniform, like 100 meters, 500 meters, etc. Is there a standard method for creating uniform tile sizes? Or Are what are common accepted method to deal with this kind of data display? (Currently I'm using geodjango and it's related toolset geos, proj4, etc)

    How to put a cut/copy reference to specific files and/or folders into Windows clipboard so that when I open standard Windows Explorer window, go to somewhere and press Ctrl+V - the files are pasted?     I'm attempting to build a way for my selectors to 'listen' to 'global' events that are beyond the typical 'click' 'change' 'submit' etc. I've explored the various 'eventmanagers' that I could find, and they're all still designed for forms. Is there any way to do something like this for non-standard (i.e. custom) events? The goal is to have selectors subscribe to an event, and then be able to trigger it in one place and it will raise it for everything subscribed to it.

  • How to remove "Standard Error" column from xtable() output of an lm on R/RSweave/LaTeX

    I'm currently doing some data analysis on population data, so reporting the standard errors in the tables of parameter coefficients just doesn't really make statistical sense. I've done a fair bit of searching and can't find any way to customize the xtable output to remove it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?     Is there a standard C library function to escape C-strings? For example, if I had the C string: char example[] = "first line\nsecond line: \"inner quotes\""; And I wanted to print "first line\nsecond line: \"inner quotes\"" Is there a library function that will do that transformation for me? Rolling my own just seems a little silly. Bonus points if I can give it a length to escape (so it stops before or beyond the \0).

    I'm looking for a function that will accept a string representing the scheme portion of a URL (e.g., "http", "https", "ftp", etc.) and return the standard port. It might be used like this: echo get_port_from_protocol("http"); // 80 As a last resort, I suppose I could write something to parse through /etc/services (assuming I only need to run under UNIX-like operating systems). But surely there must be something built-in to PHP, no?
