    I setup the demo with a modified login I found called open-id selector. the login works fine and the identity url comes back, but the SREG data I ask for is never populated, required or optional. I am logging into my page with a gmail account.   • Issues with LINQ (to Entity) [adding records]

    I am using LINQ to Entity in a project, where I pull a bunch of data (from the database) and organize it into a bunch of objects and save those to the database. I have not had problems writing to the db before using LINQ to Entity, but I have run into a snag with this particular one. Here's the error I get (this is the "InnerException", the exception itself is useless!): New transaction is not allowed because there are other threads running in the session. I have seen that before, when I was trying to save my changes inside a loop. In this case, the loop finishes, and it tries to make that call, only to give me the exception. Given some other constraints, it is not possible to create a FK relationship between the two (I've tried, but some other parts of the app won't allow it, AND my DBA team for whatever reason hates FK's, but that's for a different topic :)) Any ideas what might be causing this?   • Why does Event intent in android not return a result?

    I am creating a event using Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_EDIT); intent.setType("vnd.android.cursor.item/event"); And invoking the intent using startActivityForResult(intent, Constants.LINK_CALENDER); There is nothing returned to call in onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data) It always returns data=null ie., returned intent result is always null. I am trying to retrieve the "Done/Revert" state of calender event just created and some identity so that i can open the event again in future from elsewhere in code.

    I have a mac and a macbook, and one iPhone device and want to develop on both systems. My enrollment type is individual. How am I able to install the developer certificate and provisioning profiles on both machines? On the macbook it says 'a valid signing identity matching this profile could not be found in your keychain'. In my keychain I have a 'green status' for my developer certificate and in the xcode organizer for my device as well.

I used the publish tub on the VS 2008 and tried to publish manually using the MageUI.exe. in both cases I get the "Reference in the manifest does not match the identity of the downloaded assembly" error in regards to the second executable file. A Section can belong to only 1 Class but can have many Students. A Student (aspnet_Users) can belong to many Sections. I've setup the corresponding Model classes and Fluent NHibernate Mapping classes, all that is working fine. Here's where I'm getting stuck. I need to write a query which will return the sections a student is enrolled in based on the student's UserId and the dates of the class. Here's what I've tried so far: 1. var sections = (from s in this.Session.Linq<Sections>() where s.Class.StartDate <= DateTime.UtcNow && s.Class.EndDate > DateTime.UtcNow && s.Students.First(f => f.UserId == userId) != null select s); 2. var sections = (from s in this.Session.Linq<Sections>() where s.Class.StartDate <= DateTime.UtcNow && s.Class.EndDate > DateTime.UtcNow && s.Students.Where(w => w.UserId == userId).FirstOrDefault().Id == userId select s); Obviously, 2 above will fail miserably if there are no students matching userId for classes the current date between it's start and end dates...but I just wanted to try. The filters for the Class StartDate and EndDate work fine, but the many-to-many relation with Students is proving to be difficult. Everytime I try running the query I get an ArgumentNullException with the message: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: session I've considered going down the path of making the SectionStudents relation a Model class with a reference to Section and a reference to Student instead of a many-to-many. I'd like to avoid that if I can, and I'm not even sure it would work that way. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Ryan

Why does it work for the ListB property and not for the B property? Thanks

    I would like to delete the ICollection PriceBreaks from Product. I'm using the following method. However they dont seem to delete. What am i missing.   • sqlite issue using WHERE statement on a varchar field in Objective-C

    Hi, I have this sql statement SELECT * FROM Language WHERE LanguageCode=? where LanguageCode is a varchar(2). When I use sqlite3-prepare-v2 on that statement I got SQLITE_ERROR but if I use SELECT * FROM Language WHERE LanguageID=? where LanguageID is the primary key numeric identity field the statement compiles just fine. Is there any issue filtering by a varchar field using WHERE statement? Thanks

  • NHibernate Many to Many delete all my data in the table

    I would love to thank @Stefan Steinegger and @David helped me out yesterday with many-to-many mapping. I have 3 tables which are "News", "Tags" and "News_Tags" with Many-To-Many relationship and the "News_Tags" is the link table. If I delete one of the news records, the following mappings will delete all my news records which have the same tags. One thing I need to notice, I only allowed unique tag stored in the "Tag" table. This mapping make sense for me, it will delete the tag and related News records, but how can I implement a tagging system with NHibernate? Can anyone give me some suggestion? Many thanks. Daoming. The only way to enforce this without having a licensing server is to have a unique identity of the solution. Is any GUID of such sort available? Something like RoleEnvironment.DeploymentID. When does DeploymentID change?
