• I can't see headers or footers on Word 2007 unless in full screen view

  I have a machine on a domain that does not show any headers or footers when viewing documents in word 2007, unless I switch to full screen mode. Other computers can see the headers and footers no problems. here is a video of what is happening: http://showmewhatswrong.com/play/c6fIjBVWT (expires in 6 days - but to summarize, it just shows me flicking between all the view options in word, and only when in full screen view can you see the headers and footers) any help greatly appreciated! • Can the Microsoft Surface Pro drive multiple external monitors?

  I am interested in simultaneously connecting two Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP 24-inch Widescreen Flat Panels to my Microsoft Surface Pro. Currently I am attempting to utilize a StarTech Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort / DVI / HDMI Multifunction Adapter by connecting one monitor to the adapter via HDMI and the other via DisplayPort. Unfortunately, I am only getting video on the Surface itself and the monitor connected via DisplayPort. Is this StarTech adapter capable of simultaneously driving two monitors? Is the Surface itself even capable of driving two monitors?

• Windows Media Player - always show Current Time/Total Time

  I'm using Windows Media Player 12 on Windows 7. When I open a video file then it by default only shows the current position (time). If I click on it once then it changes to format Current Time / Total Time Is there any way to make this format permanent (registry hack/some setting I have not noticed)? Right now every time I close WMP and open another file it's back to the default (only current time) setting.

• Windows 8 Fails to resume from sleep

  I have this weird issue. When I put the computer to sleep by pressing the power button, or using the sleep option in Charms, I can wake it up normally. However, if I close the lid, and later reopen it, all the fans come on, but nothing appears on the screen. I didn't have this issue using Windows 7.   I use the SUN Presenter Openoffice Extension with a twinview Ubuntu laptop. it works well : I have the video-projector with my presentation and my laptop screen with the slides (and time...). My problem is when I want to present a mono-screen application, like Firefox, gnome-terminal. It is displayed only on one monitor, which is not really efficient if you want to be interactive. Is there a way to display these types of application on both display and to interact with both ? Thanks

  I'd like to be able to stream .avi files to my xbox 360 video library. I've gone through a bunch of different servers (ushare, xbmc) both from the aptitude and from source. It seems that I can get the servers working from both localhost and from another computer on the network. However, the xbox cannot detect any of these.   my new seagate sata drive keeps showing as a 249gb drive but in the setup part when i press del at the boot up it states there a 3000gb drive and i have searched for a solution but havent found one yet. • forcing itunes tags to the file itself

  How do I make itunes save tagging information to the file itself? I tagged a file and then loaded it into a different itunes library on a different computer via a NFS share. The tagging info wasn't present which leads me to believe the tagging info is only stored in the itunes DB. Update I'm specifically concerned about movies files, so if you RClick - Get info Options - Media Kind (Movies/TV/etc) Video - Show/Episode/Season These tags don't seem to be saved to the file itself, this is lame.
