And also, ECommerce.PMethod.Sql.SqlConns.Open() uses its own connection string, not the one loaded by spring, it's different module from diffrent team. And I am sure the connection string is correct. And, this ysod cames up randomly. Sometimes nothing is wrong, and sometimes, it appears. I thought there could be something wrong with my database or the network/firewall, I will check it later, but now I want understand this tricky stack trace.

    Ok, the title is a bit confusing, but here's my predicament. I've made a web app to track UPS packages internally at work. Currently, you input the tracking number and then select the city it was shipped from. All tracking numbers from an account start with the same X amount of numbers. So if someone entered "1Z8473..." into one input, "Houston, TX" would automatically be entered into the next input. Is this a difficult thing to pull off? Where would I begin?

    For a very simple profiling I use microtime() like this: $now = microtime(); for (...) { // do something echo microtime() - $now; $now = microtime(); } Now, the output of the echo line seems completely random, that is, I expected fluctuations, but I don't expected negative numbers showing up. However, a typical result contains ~ 1/3 negative numbers. I confirmed this on Solaris (PHP 5.0.x) and WinVista (PHP 5.2.3). What the heck is going on here? Have I invented accidently a time machine?

  • Error at lapack cgesv when matrix is not singular

    This is my first post. I usually ask classmates for help, but they have a lot of work now and I'm too desperate to figure this out on my own :). I am working on a project for school and I have come to a point where I need to solve a system of linear equations with complex numbers. I have decided to call lapack routine "cgesv" from c++. I use the c++ complex library to work with complex numbers. Problem is, when I call the routine, I get error code "2". From lapack documentation: INFO is INTEGER = 0: successful exit < 0: if INFO = -i, the i-th argument had an illegal value > 0: if INFO = i, U(i,i) is exactly zero. The factorization has been completed, but the factor U is exactly singular, so the solution could not be computed. Therefore, the element U(2, 2) should be zero, but it is not.   • ASP.NET MVC + MySql Membership Provider, user cannot login

    Hello, I've been playing around with using MySql as the membership provider for asp.net mvc forms authentication. I've got things configured correctly as far as i can tell, and i can create users via both the register action and asp.net web config site. however, when i try to login with one of the users, it does not work. it returns an error as if i had entered a wrong password, or if the account doesn't exist. i have verified in the database that the account does exist. UPDATE So after debugging the login process in the code of the membership provider itself, i discovered that there is a bug in the provider. There is a discrepancy between the password hash that is stored in the database, and the has that is generated based on the inputted password. As a workaround for my issue, i changed the password format to 'encrpyted' and added a machine key to my web.config. I am still interested in figuring out the issue with the hashed format in the provider, and will spend some more time debugging it, and if i can figure out the problem, i will put together a patch and submit it.

  • How to format output using MATLAB's num2str

    I'm trying to ouput an array of numbers as a string in MATLAB. I know this is easily done using num2str, but I wanted commas followed by a space to separate the numbers, not tabs. The array elements will at most have resolution to the tenths place, but most of them will be integers. Is there a way to format output so that unnecessary trailing zeros are left off? Here's what I've managed to put together: data=[2,3,5.5,4]; datastring=num2str(data,'%.1f, '); datastring=['[',datastring(1:end-1),']'] which gives the output: [2.0, 3.0, 5.5, 4.0] rather than: [2, 3, 5.5, 4] Any suggestions? EDIT: I just realized that I can use strrep to fix this by calling datastring=strrep(datastring,'.0','') but that seems even more kludgey than what I've been doing.

  • Jagged Edge Arrays in PHP

    I want to store some data in (I guess a semi-2, semi-3d array) in PHP (5.3) What I need to do is store data about each floor like this: Floor Num of Spots Handicap Motorcyle Other 1 100 array(15,16,17) array (47,62) array (99,100) 2 100 array(15,16,17) array (47,62) array (99,100) and on The problem is, is if the Handicap+Motorcyle+Other were ints, I could just store the data in a 2d array. However, they aren't. So I was thinking I could make something almost like a 3D array, with the first two columns only being in 2D. The other thought I had was making a 2D array and for columns 3,4, and 5 instead of saving as array(15,16) //save like 1516 And then split at two digits (1 digit array numbers would be prefaced with a 0). However, I am wondering about the limit of the length of a string, because if I decide to move to a 3 digit length number in the array, like array(100, 104), and I need to store alot of numbers, I am thinking I am going to quickly exceed the max.

    Hello all! I'm not sure if I titled the question correctly so it would be better if I explained what I'm trying to do. I am using the ASP .Net Chart Control to create a line chart showing numbers of trouble calls based on date. What I would like to do is implement a way of annotating the chart with data whereas if there was a spike in trouble calls a line, or asterisk, etc would direct the viewer to "read notes below for an explanation for why the numbers spiked here". From the samples for the chart control there is a way you can add a bitmap to the chart, however I don't see how that will be effective here because the explanations will come dynamically from a database. If anyone's done something like this or has some guidance I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

  • Factorising program not working. Help required.

    I am working on a factorisation problem using Fermat's Factorization and for small numbers it is working well. I've been able to calculate the factors (getting the answers from Wolfram Alpha) for small numbers, like the one on the Wikipedia page (5959). Just when I thought I had the problem licked I soon realised that my program was not working when it came to larger numbers. The program follows through the examples from the Wikipedia page, printing out the values a, b, a2 and b2; the results printed for large numbers are not correct. I've followed the pseudocode provided on the Wikipedia page, but am struggling to understand where to go next. Along with the Wikipedia page I have been following this guide. Once again, as my Math knowledge is pretty poor I cannot follow what I need to do next.     Is it possible to allocate locally-scoped memory in assembly? For example, consider the following (completely contrived) situation: I have two macros, one of which is dependent on the other. The first is: minimum MACRO dest, num1, num2 ; Finds the minimum of two unsigned numbers, stores the result in dest And the second is: tripMin MACRO dest, num1, num2, num3 ; Finds the minimum of three unsigned numbers, stores the result in dest minimum firstMin, num1, num2 minimum secondMin, num2, num3 minimum dest, firstMin, secondMin (I know that this isn't a realistic example for a variety of reasons, but bear with me.) Assuming that all the registers are otherwise occupied, is there any way to declare firstMin and secondMin locally within the macro? Or am I just better off freeing a register by pushing its value onto the stack and popping it back when I'm done?

  • EasyXDM passing data issue

    I'm using rpc with XDM, and I can send simple data back and forth easily between child and parent window. But it seems to be limited to simple strings and numbers. The demos on the site only use numbers. When I try to send a json ecoded string, I get a cross domain error. When I use cors, I can make ajax requests fine, but I can't display the child page in the iframe, because the data is returned and not rendered. My question is, how can I render an iframe, and pass complex data back and forth. Or maybe I am doing something wrong?

    The framework I am developing for my application relies very heavily on dynamically generated domain objects. I recently started using Spring WebFlow and now need to be able to serialize my domain objects that will be kept in flow scope. I have done a bit of research and figured out that I can use writeReplace() and readResolve(). The only catch is that I need to look-up a factory in the Spring context. I tried to use @Configurable(preConstruction = true) in conjunction with the BeanFactoryAware marker interface. But beanFactory is always null when I try to use it in my createEntity() method. Neither the default constructor nor the setBeanFactory() injector are called. Has anybody tried this or something similar? I have included relevant class below.   • Another C datatypes question

    Hello. Well, I completely get the most basic datatypes of C, like short, int, long, float, to be exact, all numerical types.These types are needed to be known perform right operations with right numbers. For example to use FPU to add two float numbers. So the compiler must know what the type is. But, when it comes to characters I am little bit off. I know that basic C datatype char is there for ASCII characters coding. But what I don´t know is, why you even need another datatype for characters. Why could not you just use 1 byte integer value to store ASCII character. If you call printf, you apecify the datatype in the call, so you could say to printf that the integer represents ASCII character. I dont know how cout resolves datatype, but I guess you could just specify it somehow. Another thing is, when you want to use Unicode, you must use datatype wchar. But, what if I would like to use some another, for example ISO, or Windows coding instead of UTF? Becouse wchar codes characters as UTF-16 or UTF-32 (I read its compiler specific). And, what if I would want to use for example some imaginary new 8 byte text coding? What datatype should I use for it? I am actually pretty confused of this, becouse I always expected that if I want to use UTF-32 instead of ASCII, I just tell compiler "get UTF-32 value of the character I typed and save it into 4 char field." I thought that text coding is to be dealt with by the end, print function for example. That I just need to specify the coding for the compiler to use, since Windows doesent use ASCII in win32 apps, I guess C compiler must convert the char I typed to ASCII from whatever the type is that windows sends to the C editor. And the last thing is, what if I want to use for example 25 Byte integer for some high math operations? C has no specify-yourself datatype. Yes, I know that this would be difficult since all the math operations would need to be changed, becouse CPU can not add 25 Bytes numbers together. But is there a way to do it? Or is there some math library for it? What if I want to compute Pi to 1000000000000000 digits? :) I know my question is pretty long, but I just wanted to explain my thoughts the best I can in English, since its not my native language it is difficult. And I believe there is simple answer to my question(s), something I missed that explains everything. I read lot about text coding, C tutorials, but nothing about his. Thank you for your time.

When I read them out of the text file however, the numbers are placed into the text box as 1.59993499 for example, instead of 1.6. How can i make it so the text box displays the original value (1.6)?

    I have a website that I'm trying to migrate from classic asp to asp.net. It had a lead schedule, where each sales agent would be featured for the current day, or part of the day.The next day a new agent would be scheduled. It was driven off a database table that had a row for each day in it. So to figure out if a sales agent would show on a day, it was easy, just find today's date in the table. Problem was it ran out rows, and you had to run a script to update the lead days 6 months at a time. Plus if there was ever any change to the schedule, you had to delete all the rows and re-run the script. So I'm trying to code it where sql server figures that out for me, and no script has to be ran. I have a table like so CREATE TABLE [dbo].[LeadSchedule]( [leadid] [int] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL, [userid] [int] NOT NULL, [sunday] [bit] NOT NULL, [monday] [bit] NOT NULL, [tuesday] [bit] NOT NULL, [wednesday] [bit] NOT NULL, [thursday] [bit] NOT NULL, [friday] [bit] NOT NULL, [saturday] [bit] NOT NULL, [StartDate] [smalldatetime] NULL, [EndDate] [smalldatetime] NULL, [StartTime] [time](0) NULL, [EndTime] [time](0) NULL, [order] [int] NULL, So the user can schedule a sales agent depending on their work schedule. Also if they wanted to they could split certain days, or sales agents by time, So from Midnight to 4 it was one agent, from 4-midnight it was another. So far I've tried using a numbers table, row numbers, goofy date math, and I'm at a loss. Any suggestions on how to handle this purely from sql code? If it helps, the table should always be small, like less than 20 never over 100. update After a few hours all I've managed to come up with is the below.     I need to sort on a date-field type, which name is "mod_date". It works like this in the browser adress-bar: http://localhost:8983/solr/select/?&q=bmw&sort=mod_date+desc But I am using a phpSolr client which sends an URL to Solr, and the url sent is this: fq=+category%3A%22Bilar%22+%2B+car_action%3AS%C3%A4ljes&version=1.2&wt=json&json.nl=map&q=%2A%3A%2A&start=0&rows=5&sort=mod_date+desc // This wont work and is echoed after this in php: $queryString = http_build_query($params, null, $this->_queryStringDelimiter); $queryString = preg_replace('/%5B(?:[0-9]|[1-9][0-9]+)%5D=/', '=', $queryString); This wont work, I dont know why! Everything else works fine, all right fields are returned. But the sort doesn't work. Any ideas? So this is the way I need to get to work (via php). This code below (also on top of this Q) works but thats because I paste it into the adress bar manually, not via the PHPclient. But thats just for debugging, I need to get it to work via the PHPclient: http://localhost:8983/solr/select/?&q=bmw&sort=mod_date+des // Not via phpclient, but works UPDATE (2010-03-08): I have tried Donovans codes (the urls) and they work fine. Now, I have noticed that it is one of the parameters causing the 'SORT' not to work. This parameter is the "wt" parameter. If we take the url from top of this Q, (fq=+category%3A%22Bilar%22+%2B+car_action%3AS%C3%A4ljes&version=1.2&wt=json&json.nl=map&q=%2A%3A%2A&start=0&rows=5&sort=mod_date+desc), and just simply remove the "wt" parameter, then the sort works. BUT the results appear differently, thus making my php code not able to recognize the results I believe. Donovan would know this I think. I am guessing in order for the PHPClient to work, the results must be in a specific structure, which gets messed up as soon as I remove the wt parameter. Donovan, help me please... Here is some background what I use your SolrPhpClient for: I have a classifieds website, which uses MySql. But for the searching I am using Solr to search some indexed fields. Then Solr returns an array of ID:numbers (for all matches of the search criteria). Then I use those ID:numbers to find everything in a MySql db and fetch all other information (example is not searchable information). So simplified: Search - Solr returns all matches in an array of ID:nrs - Id:numbers from Solr are the same as the Id numbers in the MySql db, so I can just make a simple match agains every record with the ID matching the ID from the Solr results array. I don't use Faceting, no boosting, no relevancy or other fancy stuff. I only sort by the latest classified put, and give the option to users to also sort on the cheapest price. Nothing more. Then I use the "fq" parameter to do queries on different fields in Solr depending on category chosen by users (example "cars" in this case which in my language is "Bilar"). I am really stuck with this problem here... Thanks for all help

The expression that has to be calculated, is in an EditText, because I want users can add numbers or functions also in the middle of the expression, so with the EditText I have the cursor. But I want to disable the Keyboard when users click on the EditText. Normal methods don't apply here as we are talking arbitrarily large numbers, 50 digits or more.   • vb.net array for slideshow button

    Hey all, i am in the middle of trying to figure out how to go about doing this... I have a form that i call like so: call frmSlideShow.showWhat(1,4,8,9,11,22) Each of the numbers represents a different image slide (slide1.png, slide4.png, etc..). The problem i am having is trying to create a "previous" and "next" button to flip through them all. Trying to figure out what number the user is on and going from there and seeing what numbers are still left from the list above that was sent, etc. If anyone has an idea how i would go about doing that then that would be awesome! :) David
