  • Routing between same network

    Hi In this scenario there is point -to point serial connection between R6 and R7 , there is router R10 whose interface F0/0 is having ip address of 10.1.1.2/24 and there is a host machine (R9) with ip address 10.1.1.1/24 which is running an application, My problem is that Application on R9 will only work when it will get its Gateway as 10.1.1.1/24 which is of router (R10) , is there any way i can make R6 and R7 transparent for R9 and R10, Or any type of routing using GRE / Route-map or any other way.   • Start ProcessMonitor will unexpectedly execute another irrelevant exe

    Well, I have encountered a weird problem recently. Whenever I try to start ProcessMonitor, another irrelevant program (an IM software indeed) starts instead. In the end, the only way I start ProcessMonitor is to uninstall that IM software. I have tried ProcessMonitor on my colleagues' computers but none of them see the same things. So, do you guys have any idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance.

  • where to get an IBM jre for 64-bit Windows?

    I know this is stupid: I couldn't find anything from IBM website about where to download an IBM jre (specifically, IBM jre1.6.0 J9 2.4 SR6) for a 64-bit Windows OS. Google takes me to a link which looks similar, but that jre would only work on an IBM product, I assume their own server/workstation or something like that. So I've been stuck by this for quite some time... I couldn't believe there is no such a "previous version repository" or something similar on IBM website :( Thanks for any suggestion in advance.

  • Super slow Western Digial External hard drive

    I have 2TB of WD external hard drive. I use windows Vista 32x. on DELL laptop Latitude D630 and connect through USB cable. When I transfer from my C drive to external hard drive it transfer only 3KB/sec. It take 30min to transfer 6MB. It is useless at the moment. Can anyone help me how to speed up please.     I've looked up comparisons and found that single core performance seems to be better on i7 4770k, but has less cores that the i7 4930k. Would VS take advantage of extra cores when compiling, or would the difference be negible. I'm looking to buy the PC primarily for programming, so which would be better for visual studio? I already have the rest of my build ready, I just need to decide on this! :) thanks

    Im using Thuderbird IMAP accesing my Gmail account, what folder needs to subscribe and what safe to unsubscribe? I ask this because I noticed that the messages inside say example: Important Folder, Starred Folder, etc, have the same contents meaning they are also have copies in either Sent Items and/or Inbox. How to resolve this? If I unsubscribe to all the folder but except Inbox and Sent Items only, will I be missing something on my messages? Thanks you

    XP Pro - SP3. My IBM Thinkpad t60 goes into sleep, or hibernation? and I cannot wake it up, no matter what keys I press. This includes pressing Fn plus F4 ( with the half moon).     i have this weird problem that i'm not sure is specific to me, but more of a windows 7 or Lenovo laptop, so any help would be appreciable. the problem is as follows: Whenever i use skype, msn or any other thing that make noise, the speakers are muted automatically and i need to press the mute/unmute button to re-enable the sound. Does anyone know what can i do to disable windows 7 from doing it? Thanks.

    I'm looking for something special : here is a windows server that is used for development by 4/5 people remotely working on it through remote control. I'm installing Visual Studio 2010 on it, and the installation won't continue until the server has been restarted. I'm looking for a way to reboot when the server is idle (when nobody is connected through remote desktop on it) so that the reboot doesn't bug anyone. Is there some software that can do that ?     File history is great but it saves your files on the external drive without any encryption and stores them using the exact same folder structure as the originals. If a bad guy gets his hands on the hard drive it could basically not be easier to get to your important files. Is there any way to encrypt the file history backup without breaking its functionality and without having to encrypt the original content itself? Thanks for your input!

    Possible Duplicate: Doing an rm -rf on a massive directory tree takes hours I'm running a simulation program on a computing cluster (Scientific Linux) that generates hundreds of thousands of atomic coordinate files. But I'm having a problem deleting the files because rm -rf never completes and neither does find . -name * | xargs r Isn't there a way to just unlink this directory from the directory tree? The storage unit is used by hundreds of other people, so reformatting is not an option. Thanks

    Do web proxies really provide anonimity? I mean, without someone asking for logs in a web proxy server for who/when connected, is it impossible to know who was behind that ip? I'm asking this because I heard somewhere that some technologies (like "flash") bypass personal ip information for requests or something like that. I was wondering if it was possible to write some .htaccess page that makes the server use an index.php file in a SINGLE directory as the index file for every directory/sub-directory on my server, rather than placing the exact same index.php in 200+ directories. If my description isn't clear, what I essentially mean is: /files/index.php is to be used as the index for, for example, /files/morefiles, as well as the index for all directories and sub-directories within /files/, even though those directories would not have an index file themselves.
