• Problem getting GOBI 2000 HS to work

  I've been trying to get my integrated GOBI WWAN card to work under 10.10 for a while now. I was able to get the network manager to see the card after installing the gobi-loader package. I was able to setup the connection, but i cannot establish a connection to Verizon. Below is the output from /var/log/daemon.log as i try to connect. • page not show after issuing zf command

  hello guys, just simple question, recently i have setup a web server to build project using zend framework, after setup and see those welcome page saying that you are creating websites powered by zendframework, then i try issuing command, $ zf create controller alert i get the message that saying that i've successfully create controller, view and so on, but when i try to navigate to the page by URL, ex: www.mywebapp.com/alert the page is broken, i've check those tuts but none of them showing this case. can some one define which step i've skip? update: (25/5/2010) so i've found that there is no problem, is just that i've not configured properly my route to my web apps, so i have to type URL like this: www.mywebapp.com/index.php/alert how am I going to change this? i mean i want to explode "index.php" out of URL.

  I am creating an app using PhoneGap 1.5 (Cordova) and the ChildBrowser Plugin (newest version with naming for PG 1.5 / Cordova.) I use the ChildBrowser plugin to display webpages, PDFs etc. in the app. In previous versions of PG the Whitelist wasn't as restrictive and would load external resources (css/js etc.) located on remote servers / CDNs called from webpages displayed in the ChildBrowser as long as the main URL was Whitelisted. This appears to have changed and I cannot find a way around it. Is there a way to allow all URLs to be whitelisted as long as they are loaded through an already whitelisted URL, or is whitelisting every single possible URL the only way? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

• jquery onclick function not firing with rails link_to_remote

  In the js file of the page, inside $(document).ready(function() {} i have $(".school a").live("click", function (e){ e.preventDefault(); ....; jsFunc(param1, param2, param3); }); Now the div with the class school has tags generated by rails link_to_remote with :url, :action, :before, :html. On clicking on this link it does all that it should do with regards to link_to_remote, but somehow the onclick event in the document.ready does not attach to it. Why would this be happening? The jsFunc all it does is post to a url async-ly, i figured out that stuffing that post url in the :before of the link_to_remote would work - but is there a more elegant way of just being able to use the attach functionality

I've been told that in another bool I have in the same app I shouldn't deallocate anything because everything clear out when the bool return true/false, but what happens on this void?

  I'm working with ASP.net. My website is hosted within a subfolder test under the IIS root directory. So the url of default.aspx is http://localhost/test/Default.aspx. From default.aspx, I want to use Reponse.Redirect() with a relative path to redirect to another url within the same web site, http://localhost/test/whatever. I tried Response.Redirect("/hello"); and Response.Redirect("~/hello"); Both of them redirect to http://localhost/whatever. Note that the Redirect method use http://localhost instead of http://localhost/test/ as the base url. Any ideas? Thanks.

  Hi folks, I have probably a stupid problem. In a script I generate a URL with GET parameters, something like 'www.mydomain.com/index.php?item=1234'. This URL will be sent by PHP through mail() in an UTF-8 encoding (the scriptfile itself also is utf-8). Now each time I have the GET-Parameter with two numbers after the '=' the URL in the email looks like 'www.mydomain.com/index.php?item?34' with a rectangle instead of '=12'.   I have an AJAX site and I'm using shebangs (#!) in my urls with the intention of then providing the correct HTML versions when google bots replace the #! with _escaped_fragment_. How do I go about routing/proxying/redirecting the url with _escaped_fragment_ to the corresponding html pages? I can't find documentation on this part of the process specifically, and my first thought was that I should be using a 301 or 302 redirect, but I was told that wasn't the case, albeit not given any more info.

  I have a list of training dates saved into an XML file, and I have a little javascript file that parses all of the training dates and spits them out into a neatly formatted page. This solution was fine until we decided that we wanted another web-page on another sever to access the same XML file. Since I cannot use JavaScript to parse an XML file that's located on another server, I figured I'd just use an ASP script.   Hi, I am new to IPhone developing. I have got very strange issue with NSURL which is driving me crazy. I want to instantiate NSURL object to use it in loading image. But instantiation never happens in proper way. It always says my url in invalid. Basically I use code like below: NSString *str = @"http://google.com"; NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:str]; but I also have tried a lot of different modifications (with CFStringRef + CFURLCreateStringByAddingPercentEscapes and so on). All of them are not working for me. In debugger url is set to "Invalid". What it could be? I don't think this is algorithmic or environment issue. It could be about some settings? Have anyone any idea of what happens?

  hi all, I was condering when I use urllib2.urlopen() does it just to header reads or does it actually bring back the entire webpage? IE does the HTML page actually get fetch on the urlopen call or the read() call? handle = urllib2.urlopen(url) html = handle.read() The reason I ask is for this workflow... I have a list of urls (some of them with short url services) I only want to read the webpage if I haven't seen that url before I need to call urlopen() and use geturl() to get the final page that link goes to (after the 302 redirects) so I know if I've crawled it yet or not. I don't want to incur the overhead of having to grab the html if I've already parsed that page. thanks!
